Book is all over the place. At first it was pretty good and chapter updates were good. I got to about chapter 200 and story line and characters completely changed. I read on feeling that I had read it before then it dawned on me that I did read it, the werewolf kings bride! Like copied word for word. Then there were a few chapters copied word for word from another book I read on here. Can’t remember the name but it’s about princess werewolf being sent to a pack in kingdom that was having issues with neighboring pack, ended up being the semi-enemy packs alphas mate. Then book goes back to the Ash and Cassie / Knox plot…. I spend a lot on here supporting the hard working authors who work hard on some amazing stories but this one would have been great had it not stolen chapters from other books.
I wish there was a way to report this book, or at least find out if the original story's author approved it. This book continues from a series that begins with Hybrid Aria by Jessica Hall which contains 5 books as of now. Axel is one of her children. Drake and Tate are in another of her books as well. While I find the story interesting, no one should be leeching off other people's work. The descriptions are decently done, just need a bit more to fill them out. The grammar and structure leave a lot to be desired. POV is often unclear; as well as it changes within the paragraph (i.e. using "I" for Cassie's POV, then immediately referring to "her"), sometimes even in the same sentence. Word choice is definitely on point with a fantastic vocabulary. As I know this is a platform for aspiring authors as well, please consider this constructive criticism. I could enjoy your writing with a little more editing, and your own story.
The story begins very different from the typical werewolf story. Author has created complex characters and taken a novel approach to the werewolf genre. I read until chapter 31. There are too many confusing issues with plot and characters with almost identical names. After 31 chapters I am still unclear on who is who's love interest? It seems like author is telling two different stories simultaneously. Both have interesting plot lines but lose impact when overlapped. Better editing could smooth out the rough spots and improve this books readability.
