Ch. 128 Aristos

( Third Pov )

" Now you're going to breathe out when you release the bow." Chiron instructed.

* Swoosh, Thump *

The arrow hit the dead center on the Target.

" Haha, you're a natural Aristos." Chiron said as he looked surprised at how he managed to hit the target in the first try.

It has only been a few hours that Yuto or Aristos recovered easily, and Chiron taught him the Greek language and geography.

Aristos managed to learn them easily.

Chiron looked towards the sky.

" Well, it seems it a clear day. Hmm, how about we hunt an animal?" Chiron suggested.

" A..an animal? "Aristos spoke, looking up to Chiron.

Chiron:" Yes. it'll be your first hunt." Chiron spoke as he walked toward the forest.

" Come, Aristos. I'll teach you how to track."

"Yes, teacher." Aristos followed Chiron.

Aristos managed to see a green ribbon.

" Teacher, it's the ribbon again." Aristos said as he looked up to Chiron.

" A ribbon again, huh? lead the way Aristos." Chiron said as he smiled towards Aristos.

Aristos smiled and followed after the green ribbon.

They managed to follow the green ribbon to a deer.

" Oh, look, it's a deer. It seems it led us here. pull out your bow, Aristos." Chiron said as he crouched.

Aristos hesitated. Chiron, seeing this, put his hands on his shoulders and looked him in the eye.

" Sigh, Aristos, you need to know that life wouldn't be fair to you if you hesitate."

Aristos nodded.

Taking a breath, he pulled the string with an arrow. He breathed out when he released the arrow.

* Thump *

The arrow peirce the deers heart.

The deer fell as both Chiron and Aristos walked uobto the deer.

Aristos had tears in his eyes as Chiron rubbed his back.

" Aristos, I'll tell you now that the world will be cruel, but I know you'll be able to face it head-on. Never hesitate in your decision. Keep moving no matter what."

Aristos nodded as he wiped his tears.

" I....I want to be a hero." Aristos spoke.

Chiron gently smiled.

" I know you'll be one. Now, let's not waste Mother Nature's gift."

Aristos nodded as he kneeled by the deer and held his hands in a prayer.

Chiron kept quiet as he closed his eyes.

Aristos stopped praying, held a knife, and looked back at Chiron.

Chiron nodded.

Aristos picked up the deer and carried it towards their home.

* A few years later ,*

A 15 year old boy waved towards his teacher as he left the home he trained in.

" I hope to hear great tales of your journey, Aristos." Chiron spoke as he waved Aristos off.

" I'll be the greatest hero, Teacher." Aristos spoke as he got on the horse.

Chiron saw his student leave.

" My the gods be with you, Aristos." Chiron spoke as he saw Aristos fall off the horse.

He chuckled before leaving to his home.

( Aristos Pov )

' Hope teacher didn't see that." I thought as I got back on the horse and started riding.

" You should take the east road."

" Sayuri!! you're talking again!!" I shouted as I heard my friend Sayuri.

" Sigh, keep an eye on the road." Sayuri spoke.

" W..woah! haha." I laughed nervously as the horse dodged a rabbit on the road.

" So why Thessaly?" I questioned Sayuri.

" That's because you were heading there before." She spoke.

" I was?" I had a confused face.

" Your previous self did."

" Oohh." I exclaimed.

I've tried to ask who I was before, but Sayuri didn't say anything.

If I was grading towards Thessaly, then there could be a clue on who I was.

Heading East It would take at least two weeks to head into Thessaly.

* Two weeks later ,*

" This must be Thessaly, its beautiful." I spoke out loud.

Everyone looked at me weirdly, but I didn't care much.

I walked around as I gawker at every building and structure.

" Hey, I heard that the hero Atalanta passed through here." I questioned an old man.

" Oh, you're too late, Sonny. She was here almost a year ago." The old man kindly spoke.

" Ah, I see. Do you perhaps know where she went?"

" Hmm, are you kme of her suitors." The old man questioned.

" Uh, me no. I want to learn to be a hero like her."

The old man nodded.

" Ah, youth, I remember when I wanted to be a hero." The kind old man began to tell of youth and how he married his wife.

I felt it was rude to just walk away. Do I just listen in.

An hour passed as the old man finally stopped, and I felt my ears were numb.

" You're a kind man for listening to this old man, how about I tell you a secret."

" Oh? Please do tell."

" There's rumors that kne of the most beautiful maidens in Thessaly is finding a way to become a man."

" Eh really!? how does one become a man?"

The old man just shrugged.

I watched on as he walked away with his cane.

" Huh, why would a woman try to become a man?" I spoke to myself as I walked around the city.

And as I walked, my mind kept going to that topic.

" Okay, I'm curious now."

" Are you really going to look for her?" Sayuri said.

" Yup, I want to ask why she wants to be a man and also see if I could help."

" Sigh. just be careful."

" I'm always caref...ugh." I tripped over a rock.

" Sigh." Sayuri sighed in my head as I laid down on the floor.
