First Companion

~13 June 2006~

It has been a day since I got transported to the other world without my consent. It is also the beginning of my day as a kidnapper/slaver.

"Dammit"

I walk to the desk where the book is located. The reason why I don't immediately summon my companion is that ROB sent me to this world at night and an unknown castle. So I spend my time exploring the castle on my own. To my surprise, the castle is filled to the brim with food. While the food can only be eaten within a week before it expires, at least I don't need to think about my food for a few days.

The castle also has a barrier around it, but if the user manual that I read (Yes, the barrier comes with a user manual), it only is active for one month before the barrier is gone. So I need to summon someone that can create a new barrier around the castle.

The other thing that I know is that I'm in Romania. The country that I don't know anything about. Lucky for me, I have a perk that lets me speak the local language with a problem. Sadly I can't read the local language. I also don't know how many dangerous races there are in this country.

*sigh*

I open up the book and see many pictures of women. Some of them, I know. Some of them I don't know. There are many versions of the selection as well. I look at the version one companion. In this version, there are a few companions that I want to bring with me. The first one that caught my attention is Hinata from the Naruto verse. She can be my scout slash close combat fight. With the help of the flame, she also can be a Mid to Long-range fighter. With her Byakugan, she will be my best scout member.

On the other hand, Hinata is not good for my first companion. In the series, Hinata is not known for her seal mastery. As I need to replace the barrier around the castle asap, Hinata is not my best choice for the first companion.

The next one is Mercy from Overwatch. While Mercy is not a Support/Attacker type of healer, she can use her knowledge of medication to help me in my journey. While Mercy is not the best companion, she is rather cheap in terms of points. She cost me 15 points to purchase her. What makes her valuable to me is her resurrection ability. I also don't know if her ultimate ability is the earlier version or the newer version. If it were the earlier version, then it would be a massive advantage in a fight.

The last one is Yang Xiao Long from RWBY. Yang is like Hinata in terms of fighting style. While she is a close combat fighter, Yang can expand her range, making her a Close/Mid fighter with her Ember Celica. The reason why I pick her is that she can unlock my aura. While I know that I can protect myself using my flame, another set of protection never hurts anyone.

After looking at the people in the first version, I decided to hold myself. I need to look at the other people first before making a decision. There are also other people in the first version, but either I don't know them well enough to know about their personality, or they are not good enough for my situation.

After looking at the second version of the selection, I decide to choose a few people in this version.

The first one is Sombra from Overwatch. The reason I choose her is because of her ability to hack. She can be my broker and infiltrator. With her invisibility, she can walk inside many places with ease. With her ability to hack, She can gather information around the world without leaving the base.

The second one is Captain Marvel from the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). She can be considered the most powerful character in the MCU. She will be my trump card in the battle. I don't have anything to say about her, as she alone can fight Thanos (without the power of the stone) to a standstill and win. She is also listed as a Tier-1 companion, making her a cheap overpowered companion I can buy using my points.

The third one is Sakura Haruno from Naruto Verse. Sakura can be considered Hinata with the ability to heal. While Hinata can also heal while in the frontline, Sakura is considered a healer on par with Tsunade Senju. What makes her valuable is because I summon her from the Post-Kaguya time. Also, don't forget about her summons that heal people on the spot. With her inhuman power and inhuman healing ability, Sakura can be considered a key member of my companion.

While I want someone like Vadol from the DBZ universe, I don't know if she still has a connection with the other gods from her original universe. I don't want to anger a God of Destruction. Thank you very much.

The other one is Speedwagon from JoJo because you know… meme. Sadly my situation is not suitable for something like that.

With a sigh, I look at the third version and read all the list of companions I can choose.

The first one I want in this version is Artoria Pendragon (Saber Class) from Type-Moon. This Saber is the one that appears in Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night series. With her status as a servant, she can be my tank and heavy hitter at the same time. Not only that, with her Avalon and Excalibur, Saber maybe can fight toe-to-toe against Captain Marvel for a while.

The next person is either Widowmaker from Overwatch or Ino from Naruto Verse. The reason I pick Widowmaker is that she can be my Long Range fighter with Poison as her specialty. At the same time, Ino can be my Offensive/Support role in my team. She can be my interrogator if there is an enemy we successfully capture. She also can be our Crowd Control specialist with her illusion. As for support, she can use her mind technique to connect our mind for better communication between us.

The next one is Caster from Fate/Stay Night series. Caster is the one that I considered perfect for my first summon. With her status as a Servant, she has a superhuman body that can take a considerable amount of damage. She is also a master of magic from the Age of Gods in the Nasuverse. With her Territory Creation skill, she can make this castle into a magical fortress that is strong enough to hold any attack. Caster is also a master of potion brewing, making her more valuable as she can not only create a barrier around my castle but also support me with her potion.

The last one is Ruby Rose from RWBY. Ruby is like her sister in terms of usefulness. While she is not as strong as her sister in terms of firepower, Ruby compensated for it with her speed. I choose her because she can unlock my aura, but also she has good knowledge of creating weapons, as shown in her fetish in weaponry.

I then look at the next page where it shows that I already reach the fifth version of the companion selection.

In this version, the only person I choose is Panacea, also known as Amy Dallon from the WORM web series. Panacea can be considered another Overpower character in this list. She has the power of Bio Striker, meaning that she can alter the biology of any living being. Panacea's role in my team will be a support specialist. While I don't read the worm series until the end, I read her bio in the WIKI from my previous world, and boy does she is powerful for a support role.

Into the next and the last version, I choose Taylor Hebert from the WORM web series. With her power to control arthropods in large areas and also a multitasking ability that lets her see through her multiple insects at the same time. With that said ability, Taylor can be a scout and assassin role in my team. She can scout the surrounding area using her insect and kill the unsuspected victim using her insect as well. If I also bring Panacea with me, she can upgrade the Taylor insect to become bigger and more powerful than it should.

The next one is Mei Hatsume form BNHA (Boku no Hero Academia). The reason why I chose her is that she is a brilliant inventor and technician. That's it. That is the only reason why I choose her. Moving on.

The last one is Seras Victoria from Hellsing Verse. If I decide to summon her, she will be my Long-range fighter like Widowmaker. However, unlike Widowmaker, Seras has the ability of a vampire that makes her almost immortal. I also don't know how many souls she currently has inside her soul.

After reading all the companion lists from all versions, I thought about who I should summon first. A second later, I decide to summon Caster as my first companion. While I know that she has the title of Witch of Betrayal, but I also know that she wishes to free herself from the Gods and Goddess.

As I press the picture of Caster inside the book, it shines brightly, and after it disappears, I can see a body of Caster unconscious on the ground.

I see Caster on the verge of her spiritual body dissipating and immediately take her to my bedroom.

I remember Caster's situation is the time when she stumbled upon Souichirou Kuzuki in front of the Ryuudou Temple.

*Medea POV*

I open my eyes and see that I have not yet disappeared from the world like I thought I would be. I sit down on the bed and look around. It was a western-style room filled with TV, a small Library and a Computer.

"Ahhh, you are awake."

I look at the door and see a man around his 20 walking inside the room. He has silky black hair, with blue eyes that shine brightly like a jewel. What makes him stand out more than any other person she ever meets is his aura. His aura feels like home. It's like Lady Hestia inside this very room and blesses her with her presence. I can feel my soul attracted to him instantly, making my cheek flustered.

"Hello. My name is… Lexian Vongola. Can I ask your name?"

When the man, Lexian, asks him that question, I can feel a warm feeling wash over me like a mother hugs her daughter. This feeling made me even more flustered than before.

"My name is Cas… Medea. My name is Medea"

"I see, It is a beautiful name for a beautiful woman."

Just like before, I feel another wave of warmth wash over my body, but this time it is ten times stronger than before.

"Can you tell me why you are unconscious on the ground? If there is anything I can help, I will help you."

I hesitate to tell him about my story, but a second later I decide to tell him anyway.

After telling him my story, Lexian sat next to me and then hugged me.

"I'm sorry for the hardship you walkthrough, but you don't need to feel that any longer."

I can feel Lexian release me from his hug, making me pout a little. When I hear him chuckle, I look away from him in embarrassment.

"You say that you need a new contract, right? Then how about making a new contract with me?"

I look at him in surprise.

"Are you sure? I'm a Witch of Betrayal, you know?"

"Hahahaha, No, you are not. You are Medea, the princess of Colchis."

"Do you not afraid of me betray you?"

"No, I'm not."

"Why?"

"Because you are Medea of Colchis, not Medea the Witch."

The warm feeling becomes stronger than before. I even can see a glimpse of an orange flame dancing around me, followed by an indigo mist that is also dancing around the orange flame.

"Thank you."

"No problem. Now how to complete this contract?"

"Kiss me."

"Eh?"

"Kiss me."

"Are you sure?"

"You want to finish the contract, right?"

"Yes"

"Then, Kiss me."

"... Very Well"

Slowly Lexian lip meets mine, and suddenly I can feel my body filled with mana that even the Grail cannot provide me. Not only my body becomes stronger. I also feel that the flame that dances around Lexian and I begin to combine at each other. For a minute, we stay like this before Lexian takes away his lip from mine.

For a long time, I never felt this way. The feeling of warmth. It was like the feeling of….
