"Right now this company is full of slackers and unqualified people so I am firing 56 people whose name is written in this file."

When Ash said that all people sitting there were shocked except Serena. They weren't expecting this. Before they could recover from the shock Ash drooped another bomb on their face.

"This is the beginning of new Starline and we will never tolerate unqualified people in our company. Serena, fire those 37 people from the second list as well as soon as possible and hire new people in their places.

Butch who was sitting on the right side of Ash felt a lot of anger vailed inside him. He was close to James Scott(Stepbrother of Ash) and was considered a friend by James. He had heard from James that Ash was very timid so he thought Ash would completely rely on him but he not only Ash had removed him from the CEO position but now he was firing his people too.

Butch thought that it was all because of Serena. He thought that Serena was instigating Ash against him but he forgot that Serena was appointed by Ash.

Butch stood up from his chair and said, "Sir, You can't fire them."

"I thought this was my company and I can fire anyone.

"Sir, You are still young and you don't know how to run a company if you fire them who will work in the company," Butch said this sentence like he was coaxing a child.

"That's why I hired Serena"

"She is fooling you if you do this then this company will fall."

Serena got angry when she heard this "What do you mean by saying that. I was doing as I was ordered"

"I know you, You fired these people because they are my people so they will support me, and you want to hire new people who will support you," Butch said in almost a shouting tone.

"Those people were fired because they were unqualified," Serena answered him in the same tone.

"If you do this it will cause the downfall of this company."

"Enough. I was the one who ordered them to be fired and my decision is final." Ash said it annoyingly.

"But..." Butch wanted to refute but Ash cut his talk in the middle.

"I said enough. This is my final decision if anyone wants to go against it then they can walk out of this room."

Ash was getting more and more annoyed.

Butch couldn't say anything so he sat on his chair.

"So let's begin," said Serena.

"Wait a minute," Ash stopped Serena then he looked at all the people sitting in front of him and stopped his gaze in front of two people. One of them was the head of the department of distribution and the other one was a senior agent in STA. Both of them were relatives of Butch. Ash pointed his finger at them and said, "You and you. Both of your names are on this list as well so both of you should get out of this room."

Both of their faces turned pale. They both stood up and said, "We have worked for more than a decade in this company you can't fire us for no reason."

Ash smiled at them and said, "For many years now this company didn't distribute any indie low-budget film even if they had high quality, and not only that some of the films we distributed were destined to be flops. And your net worth is way more than people working on the same posts in the big 6 film companies. what explanation do you have for that."

Then Ash looked at the other person and asked, "And you, I want to ask you why did you block Cynthia who was an artist under you and was one of our most profiting artists."

"Because She had offended someone influential from UTA(United talent agency). If I didn't block her then they would block us.

"That just shows your incompetence to protect your artist why should I keep incompetence people like you in my company."

Both of them were stunned. They didn't know what to say so they just kept looking Butch to save them.

Butch got so angry with Ash that he lost all his reasoning so stood up and shouted at Ash.

"You can't do whatever you like. A company isn't made of only one person it needs people to work in it."

When he shouted at Ash, Ash got so much angry but he didn't show it on his face.

He just looked at Serena and said, "Serena add one more name to that list. John Butch."

"What did you say," Butch couldn't believe what he just heard.

"You were the CEO of this company for nearly a decade but under your incompetent leadership, this company nearly got bankrupt. I was being benevolent to you by not firing you but now you have crossed the limit."

Ash looked at him domineeringly and said, "You are fired.''

Butch didn't understand what just happened. In Butch's eyes, Ash was just a teenager who doesn't know how to run a company but he never expected that Ash would fire him.

"Why are you three standing here get out we are to begin the meeting" Ash spoke in a harsh tone.

Butch looked angrily at Ash and said, "You will regret it."

"I don't know about that but if I kept you in the company any longer fI would regret it for sure."

He gave Ash one final angry look and left with the other two.

All the other people sitting there were stunned and speechless after watching this office drama so Serena looked at them and said, "Let the meeting begin."
