Reinforcements

"Haawwhahha.....haa....That was a good night's sleep, seems like everyone else is resting too, no wonder it was so quiet.....let's get a drink, why not, maybe I can meet Miss Azure if I'm lucky."

Robert gets off from his bed and travels downstairs, with his ivy stand in his hand, he slowly and slowly makes his way to the stairs, and is flabbergasted on how muted the place was.

"Are hospitals supposed to be this quiet...."

As he finally reaches where he wants to be, the first thing he sees on the corner of his eye is 'nothing'. The whole hospital was empty. All that could be heard was the buzzing of the lightbuld, "Where is everybody?" thought Robert as he made his way to the reception counter, "Hel-", the whole place was flooded with blood, and there it was, the body of a young woman, so light it was being flowed by the spilling blood like it was a river, "Is that!" Robert lets go off his ivy stand and rushes vigorously towards the body to turn it around, "*sigh*, I know I shouldn't be relieved, someone literary died here, but for some reason, it felt like a stone heavier than a mountain was lifted from my heart..."

Robert looks around more and doesn't find any other body or blood, although what he does find is a broken door and an exit, which he takes, just to go outside and be horrified for the rest of his life, as what he saw was his friends of New Day hotel, lying there, helpless and not moving, presumably 'dead', blood was splattered in large portions everywhere.

"Rob....here..." He heard a faint voice coming from one of the bodies, "WOODS!" Screamed Robert while running towards him, "What happened, why is everyone like this...." Robert grabs his hand and starts shedding tears that drop on his red face and slide right off taking the redness with them, "We....we were attacked....they banjaxed the whole city....Audellia is dead.....I think...*cough cough*.....I think some of us are still alive.....you need to get.....*cough cough*"

"Calm Down! Don't talk so much" said Robert while panicking and hoplessly trying to find a way for a solution.

"Listen to me.....You need to get to Doctor Palmer, he fleed with the rest of the citizens in a ship across shore, they still must be getting to the ship, which is.....*cough cough*....which is on the port, get everybody lying here there, forget about me, don't put too much weight on yourself, only retrieve the ones which are alive....*cough cough*....oh and also..*COUGH COUGH*...."

"WOODS, WOODS CAN YOU HERE ME...WOODS!"

"I'm still alive you idiot, don't go planning a funeral on me, do wat I told you to do."

"♫Hostages♫Hostages♫More and More Hostages♫"

The man called Zacchaeus was fumbling around making his way to the hospital in sight, while his partner in crime was following him and calling him out to think logically, but as always, Zach could hear everything he was saying but didn't implement it.

*sniff sniff*

"Ah! This whole place reeks of people and I love it, let's get inside and see what we are working with!"

*creak*

"Well this is rather relaxing isn't it." said Zach observing every inch of the room.

"Hello Sirs, what can I help you with?" approached a worker of the hospital to Zach who 'kindly' replied, "Oh yes, yes, will you be willing to become my hostage, I would really, really, appreciate it if you did."

"Excuse me?"

*BANG*

"HEYYY! You shooted again! Now see what you've done, everyone's running out, give me that gun."

He hustles Lucius trying to grabe the gun, "Oye! How many times have I told you to not touch my gun, and don't get so grumpy, there are still some left aren't there?" Lucius points his gun to a pair of a child in the arms of a woman, crouching down and sweating abundantly........

"Jackpot...." says Zach while eyeing at the innocent pair with drool coming out of his mouth.

Lucius grabs them both violently by their hair and starts dragging them while they led out screams of pain and anguish, Lucius kicks down a door and throws them both still through their hair on the hot and scorching road, he continues to drag them as they were barely holding the heat and friction from the ground, pebbles and stones scattered on the road were scratching on their back and giving them scars and marks on their skin, but this pain wasn't long for them to endure has hope arrived and in came reinforcements, the most strongest and brave allies of the city were ready to attack.

"Hey can you stop." echoed a voice from far, right into Lucius and Zacchaeus' heads,

*BANG*

"What the-"

"You know what they say, 'flowers over war', so why don't you put that gun down a little...."

"Where--"

*BANG* *BANG*

Lucius had pointed his towards his own feet and Zach's feet, making them both paralyzed, "This is...Hypnosis" blurted out Lucius. "Hypnosis? But that's...."

"Yeah.....I'm as surprised as you are, Subject C.A.T, the one who had the greatest resistance to the radiance syrum, enough to even inject it into her brain and she would be able to adapt to it, hence the Hypnosis power, I thought you had died when we deemed you too dangerous?"

"I was acting...to get out of that hell hole. And also, it's Catarina now."

"You think you're so sly, we'll show you, our true power-"

When they were trying to be dramatic, and show their 'full power', it all went to shame as the 'Wood' of restrain wrapped them tight in hold, not letting them escape.

"Hey! Woods, took you long enough, where are the others?"

"They have arrived but Raja has hid them in the walls."

"Oye, don't tell them everything, they might bring a comeback or something." Woods put up a smug expression and said, "Oh, really?"

"What is this......in my ear.....I can't...hear....anything"

Their ears start to bleed as a suspicious figure is revealed behind them, with his hands on a certain angle, "Damien!" shouted Catarina, "Great now we can capture them easily."

"It's futile you idiots.....don't get too ahead of yourselves."

*flash*

A blinding light covered all spaces and in a flash, the wood, the hypnosis, the controlling noise, the poeple in the walls of the building, everyone of those, was removed.

*BANG BANG BANG BANG*

"You know that gun wasn't the only weapon I had."

"Damnit, we couldnt......."

The ones who were striving now fell to their doom, "*Sigh* Let's get what we were here for already, this is getting boring." called Zach to Lucius who commented "Finally...."

They both leave and they don't forget the hostages that Zach had prepared for himself and left the fighters who worked so hard right there, in the hopless state they were in now. Some were able to flee, and they were able to follow Doctor Palmer to the city's personal boarding ship, some were able to recover, and some weren't.

********************************************

Now Robert is trying to find his solution to complete what injured Woods has told him, "What do I do? What do I do?" He sees something peculiar, but it was something that would be able to help him, "That's it".
