Distance Doesn't Separate People, Silence Does

I feel like I may have rushed the later part of this chapter, please let me know if I have. I couldn't think of anything that could be done for the story without boring you so…yeah

Looking up towards the mirror in front of me, I scowl as my gaze slowly shifted to my left arm that falls limp to my side. Or what it is now. It's pure metal. The 'Doctor' left it as just that. However, with my quirk I'm able to control it by using the water to act as a coating around it, turning my skin to water and blood into a metal exoskeleton

This did prove useful to strengthening myself though, I have had to have constant breathing concentration to keep my left arm active. I've decided to name this new ability of mine 'Total Concentration: Constant'

I learned a large weakness a week ago during my fight. Once it is disconnected, I can no longer control it. It just lays limp in my suit, a multimeter away from getting it reconnected, but it takes quite some time to get it back on, the time I don't have while in a fight

"Excuse me, sir!" I hear a voice shout from outside the door

I swiftly sort myself into my suit, the 'Doctor' being the O' benevolent man he is fixed it up for me

"Sir? Are you there?" The man shouted again

Breathing into steady myself, I slot the final part of my suit onto myself as I stretch slightly approaching the door

"Sir! Can you hear me?!" The man shouted. Again.

"You idiot!" I heard a different voice in a raised whisper say, "He's mute. He can't- Hello sir!" He suddenly said his greetings to me as I opened the door

I nodded to him as he began to say, "We're going to be guiding you to the main hall, sir,"

I looked down at him and signed: 'What for?'

"You're going to become part of a group," He started, "You'll be called…"

"THE PARANORMAL LIBERATION FRONT," Tomura announced as the League and I walked onto the stage. For Twice it would be sliding on his knees

"Furthermore, I now designate the 10 members on stage with me as commanding officers, who shall coordinate our forces at their discretion," Tomura continued, "Well this new name is just like the script. Irrelevant. GO WILD," As Tomura finished his words the hall erupted in a chorus of cheers and celebration

Deciding to copy Dabi, I walked off in my direction to figure the layout of this place. It was big. No. That's an understatement. These CEOs know how to make their money

"Well well well! Silent Death! We meet again! You should know, this is quite a privilege for you! However! As I am such a saint…I! Shall! Allow! You! To! Talk! With! Me!" I heard that obnoxiously annoying voice of 'The Second Mongoose' speak behind me

I speed up my steps to try to avoid him, "Hey! Not so silent man! Get back here! You should be honoured!"

I stop myself and slowly turn towards him. His face was still slightly battered, his wounds apparent. His neck stands alert and sweat begins to drop down his face as I approach him.

"You," I spoke lowly, "You will keep your mouth shut about my ability to talk," I told him, my hand nearing his face just like how I did when I smashed his face in, "Now get on your way,"

"Y-Yes! Ah! HAHA! I mean, of course! I am an honourable man! I shall respect the wishes of the man that bested me in battle!" He said as his voice cracked at every syllable

I nodded at him, retracting my hand as I walked off. I turned my head back to him, putting my lips to the helmet of my suit, continuing to walk away

"Wow! What a crude person!" I heard him say, "Ah! He's so cool! He's the first to ever handle me this way!" I turned to look at him, my body seemed to comically jolt at his words as I looked straight at him

"A-Ah! Yes! I shall leave! I am sorry!" He said sprinting off

I continue to walk throughout the building, taking in the layout to fully understand what we are dealing with. I haven't had a chance to get as my time has been spent on healing and recovering myself more than intel gathering

It does seem like this 'Re-Destro' truly believes that Shigaraki is fit to be a leader so I don't see any need in worrying about anyone here, as we have him wrapped around our fingers and he has the people wrapped around his

"Silent!" I heard a voice say as a door burst open and…'The Second Mongoose' walked in, "Hello! It's a shame measure to meet me again! I come bearing great news!" He announces as he makes a pose, and stays like that. For four minutes

"Humour me," I finally told him

"You piece of shi- You have been blessed with the amazing chance to go on a mission with your truly! How lucky are you?!" He shouted triumphantly while cupping his ear with his hand

"It's as if God is looking at me, I'm so blessed," I said bored, I can't even eat my food because he's here

"Ha, haha, yes you look like it," he said, his voice a lot less excited than before, "Anyway, could you guess our mission?!...No?! That's just what I expected! The mission that we're doing is…drumroll please?" He said as I watched him like a clown

"Nightwatch! You see, long ago before time had a name, the first spinjitsu master, AKA. Re-Destro, told me, 'Second Mongoose, because you are so amazing and important, you have been gracefully chosen to watch over the base with any man you choose to, there have been some suspicious creepy crawlers in the city because of the recent events, which is why your gracious self has been royalty selected for this super important extra classified mission'" he said imitating a deeper voice while he held a flashlight to his face

"I do-" "Come on! Let's go!" He interrupted me as he walked out of the room

With a small sigh, I decide to follow him as I had nothing better to do. He seemed like an obnoxious guy but at least he has some character to him. We eventually spent a lot of time watching over the area and an unknown amount of time had passed

"Any man you choose to," I said aloud to him as no one was around

"Huh?" He voiced confusion as he looked at me

"Watch over the base with any man you choose to," I said to him, "Why me?" I told him confused as my previous crooks weren't exactly welcoming

"w-well there isn't anyone else to come with me," he murmured, "A-Anyway! You should be honoured! My greatness and generosity truly know no bo-" "You're a loner huh?" I interrupted him

His body stiffened slightly, "Ha! Me?! THE Second Mongoose. A loner?! Please! I have plenty of men under me!" He shouted out as he sped forwards walking

"Well! What about you then?! You don't exactly seem like you're surrounded by friends and family!" He shouted at me, his words hurt but they were true

"My friend," I said, "I'm just here to save my friend,"

~~ 3 Months Later ~~

"So, 'Doctor', can you fix it?" I ask him as I sit staring at the monitor that has been recording Sabito

"Well yes it will be fixed, you're becoming quite a nuisance with all of this recently Tomioka," he replied to me

"Faulty engineering," I said to him bluntly

"Heh, it's not like I'm an expert in creating villain suits or anything," He retorted back

"I should kill you," I blurted out

"Hahaha yes, you should. But you won't. Will you?" He said slowly, antagonising me further

I clutch my fist tightly as blood seals down my palm. There is only a month remaining on the completion for Shigaraki. When it is complete, it will cause large scale destruction. I should destroy it and everything here. But I can't. The 'Doctor' has not only threatened me with Sabito but all the innocent people in the hospitals. His influence is that large.

"Tomioka. Come here for a-" He stopped speaking as his face garnered large worry

"What are you doing? Finally having a stroke?" I said, my body tensing, waiting to hear what comes out of his mouth

"Damn them…those meddlesome heroes!!" He shouted aloud, rushing down towards Shigaraki

I donned my suit as he said, "I didn't want to abandon the hospital!"

"I got a tough call to make! Your walk is over, Johnny! I needed to warp me and Shigaraki outta here, stat!" He frantically shouted rushing around

I got up from my chair and shouted, "What are planning-" My words were crazy off when a huge crash appeared from the wall

"Are you…the real one?!" A rabbit girl shouted as she slid her way in, the debris crushing 'Johnny'

"NOOOO!!" The 'Doctor' screamed in tears as everything got destroyed

"Guys! I found the old fart and bunch's tough-looking Nomu! That Silent Death guy is here as well!" Mirko shouted holding her hand to her ear, "Dunno…but a good kick should tell me,"

Suddenly, Mirko darts forward at an incredible speed towards the 'Doctor', "You the real one?! Let's find out!"

"AHHHH! I am! I'm the real one!" He yelped like a girl

"Better give ya a good kick to be sure!" Mirko shouted as she neared him

"AHHH! Help me! Help me or I'll kill him!" The 'Doctor' shouted, seemingly to no one but I knew what he meant

I was confused. He's acting like a child scared of a bug. Why is he so scared? When I threaten him he seemed confident. He knew that he'd be safe

Maybe…he's a huge coward? How had I not realised?! If I would've known that he acted like this in these circumstances, all of this would've been done with. But I had put him in these circumstances. Multiple times. And all he did was laugh

Even if it's because he knows that I can't do anything to him, he would've at least shown some fear…he knew I wouldn't do anything…that must be the reason

"And if I don't?" I said to him, standing still watching as Mirko neared him, her kick connecting with 'Mocha'

Suddenly, the High-Ends burst from their holding tubes as they rush out towards Mirko as she is blasted into the wall

I noticed that the 'Doctor' was scurrying away as he climbed into his chair. It jerks backwards as he disappears

"Ha! Little bastard," I commented as I rush towards the main computer

I ignore all of the commotion happening behind me as I desperately type into the software, the countless times of me observing the 'Doctor' allowing me to get a grasp for how it works

I tried multiple searches: 'Sabito' 'Giyu' 'Tomioka' anything that could relate to him. Giving up on that, I look into the recently accessed files, showering them until I come across one that stands out

'The Illusion Experiment'

Clicking it, I see all the files of Sabito. I kept looking until I was finally able to find the location of where he was being recorded. It was around 60KM from here

Without any time being wasted, I rush away from the computer and make a swift escape towards the tunnels

"Luna Crest!" I hear as a turret of pain hits me from the side sending me crashing through the wall

Getting myself back up I notice her dash over me sending a circular kick towards something behind me. I look behind me as I notice a huge crack in the middle of a large test tube. She used me to break through the wall as a shortcut. Clever. Thoughtless but clever

Getting back to my feet I look around as I saw Endeavor grab Mirko mid-air and dash away from us. Without wasting any time, I don't pay my mind to what the 'Doctor' is crying about and I rush off heading towards the exit once again

Don't worry Sabito, I finally know where you are!
