Finals

Time flew by and one day Aizawa informed us that we´ll be having a training camp in the woods during summer vacation.

I became pretty excited. I liked field trips in middle school even though I didn´t have a lot of friends. The boys always opened up about which girls they liked and such things. It was fun.

However, we need to pass the final exam to be at the camp. Kaminari panicked. He isn´t exactly the best student. Who would have thought?

"There´s only one week remaining till the finals. I hope you´re all studying properly. Don´t forget that there is not only the written part but also the practical one. That´s all." Aizawa then left the classroom.

"I haven´t studied at all!" shouts Ashido and Kaminari.

"I told you to take it seriously."

"Shut up, you grind!"

I was fifth in the midterms so I don´t have much to worry about.

"It´s pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention in class." said Todoroki. I

pretty much agree with him.

"Speak for yourself!" yell Ashido and Kaminari.

"You two, I may be of assistance with the class lectures." said Yaoyorozu.

The troubled duo then shined in excitement. Jiro, Sero, and Ojiro also wanted some help from Yaoyorozu so she started a study group.

We then went to the cafeteria. Lunch Rush´s food is delicious as always. Monoma started his bullying once again, but Kendo came to our rescue.

"You guys were talking about the practical exam, right? An upperclassman friend of mine told me It will probably be a battle against robots like in the entrance exam."

I finished my meal, thanked Kendo for the information and returned to the classroom.

"Hey guys, we found out what will be in the practical exam."

"What is it?!" says Ashido and Kaminari.

"We´ll fight against robots like in the entrance exam."

"Oh, that will be easy if it´s robots." "Yeah, totally" Said the now carefree duo.

The next day I got a call from Jiro about how Yaoyorozu´s house was a giant mansion. Well, you don´t get to choose your parents.

The finals swiftly came. I had no problem with the written part as I studied meticulously.

Right now we stand in front of the Practical Exam Area. Several teachers are in front of us and Aizawa starts his explanation. "We will begin the practical exam. It is, of course, possible to fail this exam. If you want to go to the training camp then don´t make any stupid mistakes. I expect you all have gathered information about the exam in advance."

"We´re fighting robots, right?!?" said the excited Kaminari.

Aizawa´s scarf started moving and the principal came out of it. "Bad for you, but the exam will be different this time! We want to focus more on person-to-person combat and hero work. We´ll have you form teams of two and fight against one teacher!"

Ashido and Kaminari were shocked that they got bamboozled.

"In addition, the pairs and their opponents were decided in advance." says Aizawa "And here they are: Yaoyorozu and Todoroki against me, Midoriya and Bakugo against All Might, Sato and Kirishima against Cementos, Asui and Tokoyami against Ectoplasm, Ojiro and Iida against Power Loader, Uraraka and Aoyama aginst Thirteen, Ashido and Kaminari against Nezu, Jiro and Shoji against Present Mic, Kira and Hagakure against Snipe, Mineta and Sero against Midnight."

"The time limit is 30 minutes! Your objective is to either handcuff your opponent or run away." adds the principal.

"Today it will be way different from the combat training. You´ll be up against someone wayyyy stronger than you!" says Present Mic confidently.

"I can´t really imagine that." says Jiro.

"Hey watch your mouth, girl!!" yells Present Mic in response.

I also can´t imagine that. Some of the teachers like All Might are surely stronger than me, but I doubt they could beat me. Snipe has a great tactical advantage as a long-range fighter, but when he is in Killer Queen´s range the winner is decided.

"We had the support course make ultra compressed weights to make the battles fairer. Every teacher will have about half of their body weight added by these weights." says All Might.

"All right, each team will take the practical exam in order on the practical stage. Those waiting for their turns can either watch the exams or think of their strategies. Sato and Kirishima, get ready!" says Aizawa.

"Hey Kira, did you come up with a plan?" says the excited Hagakure. "It´s gonna be easy because I´m like super stealthy."

"Sure, the plan is simple. I´ll distract Snipe and you´ll come behind him and handcuff him."

"This is so embarrassing. You can´t look at me, ok?"

"But..but.. *sigh* ok."

"So I´ll need to sneak around, he, he, he."

I planned with the expressive girl until the robotic voice announced our turn.

We came into a huge building full of giant concrete pillars. Hagakure excitedly hopped around and the battle started.

We can see Snipe guarding the exit. He shoots and the bullet flies around the building. Suddenly it changes course and flies right at me. It´s surprisingly slow for a bullet so I hide behind a pillar and the bullet hits the ground.

I look around and there are no signs of Hagakure. I step outside my cover and hear 5 gunshots. This time I block the bullets by crossing Killer Queen´s hand in front of me. Snipe takes cover to reload so I run towards him.

A few seconds later he peeks out of his cover and there are only 10 meters between us. We stand opposite of each other in a stalemate.

Flying handcuffs appear and with "Hyaah!" smack Snipe on his head. Snipe falls to the ground, knocked out. What the hell was that?

"Kira, did I do good? Wasn´t it awesome?"

I facepalm. "Yeah, you´re great."

"Team Hagakure and Kira have passed!" says a robotic voice.

We leave Snipe there and go to the monitor room. The robots will take care of him. It took us a while as Hagakure was celebrating her victory the whole time.

In the Monitor room, there already are some students. There´s Yaoyorozu, Asui, Uraraka, Iida, and our school nurse Recovery Girl. More like recovery grandma. She smacks me on the face with her cane. "You were thinking something disrespectful, kid." "I wouldn´t dare."

We came just right to see the last battle. They are in a big replica of a city. All Might is throwing Midoriya and Bakugo around like nothing. I must say that the idea of a villainous All Might is terrifying.

The two students run away into a back alley and start fighting between themselves. That´s to be expected from Bakugo. After a while they reconcile and with the power of friendship, they pass the exam by running away. Asui and Uraraka celebrate their friend´s victory.

We gather back in front of the practical exam area. Some of us are missing due to injuries. Ashido and Kaminari are depressed, due to them not passing the exam.

"Why? Why, Kira? Why didn´t you help me?"

"What do you expect me to do? Do the exam for you?"

"That would be great."

Aizawa dismissed us and we headed home. Kaminari was whining the whole way.
