Back to School

After my internship, I was exhausted so I invited Kaminari over. We played some games and talked about our internships.

He was lazing around the whole week and didn´t learn anything. I guess that happens when you decide on the agency without a care in the world.

In the news, we found out that Iida, Todoroki, and Midoriya were involved in a villain attack, caused by the Hero Killer.

Hero Killer was a murderer inspired by All Might. The TV described his ideals in detail. Whoever he deemed not heroic was killed in cold blood. His quirk is surprisingly not that powerful, which makes his feats fairly impressive.

I got my rest over the weekend and school started once again. Bakugo came to school with a new hairstyle. That caused a lot of laughter from the boys. It even gave me a chuckle. Seeing Bakugo looking proper was like finding a unicorn. Uraraka seems to have awakened her battle spirit over the week.

Most of my classmates then surrounded the trio attacked by Hero Killer and asked some questions about the attack. Iida became very motivated and started yelling for us to take our seats.

All Might started his lesson so we changed into our hero costumes and gathered in front of Ground Gamma.

"Long time no see boys and girls! For this hero basic training, we´ll have some fun with the rescue training race!"

"If we are doing rescue shouldn't we be at USJ?" asked Iida.

"That place is for training for disasters. This will be a race. This field is packed with factories and industrial equipment. You´ll break up into 5-person groups and go through the training one group at a time. I´ll send a distress signal from somewhere in the field and your goal is to get to me first! You´ll have to keep the damage to your surroundings to a minimum. All right, first group, get in place!"

I was part of the third group so I watched their performance. The others started guessing who will win.

I still can´t get over Yaoyorozu´s hero costume. Jiro flicked my forehead and the race started.

Sero was flying with his tapes, Ashido was sliding across the pipes, Iida and Ojiro just ran. Midoriya started hopping on the industrial equipment with great speed.

He swiftly caught up to Sero who was in the first place. Unfortunately for him he slipped and ended up being in the last place.

The next rounds weren´t all that interesting. Nobody surprised me with some wild performance. Most of them just ran, because their quirk didn´t have any influence on their mobility. I ran with Killer Queen´s legs, Asui jumped like a frog, etc. Nothing new, nothing interesting.

After the lesson, we went to the locker room to change.

"That was some hard training." said the tired Sato.

"It was the first training in a while to make me sweat." added Aoyama.

"I need to work on my mobility." said Kirishima.

"You must compensate for it by gathering information." said Tokoyami.

"Hey, Midoriya! I discovered something crazy. Look at this hole." Mineta pointed to a hole hidden behind a poster. "It is probably there thanks to the efforts of our upperclassmen. Behind this hole is a whole new world I´m telling you."

"Look through that and you´re flying through the wall." I say while manifesting Killer Queen´s hand.

"Come on Kira you just don´t want us to see.."

"Watch your mouth Kaminari!"

We changed and headed home.

On my way home I walked with Jiro. "So how was your internship?"

"Nothing that interesting. I helped the heroes in a hostage situation."

"How´s that not interesting? You were saving lives."

"Don´t exaggerate. They could have done that without me. What were you doing?"

"I arrested two villains and watched Terminator."

"You´re kidding, right?"

"Totally serious"

"Next time I´m going there with you."

"That wouldn´t be a problem."

"Wait, really?"

"Yep, I´m sure Skywave would like you."

"If you forget about it I´ll beat you up, ok?"

"Haha, sure you will."

After a while, I said goodbye and entered my home.

"Hi, I´m home!"

"I´m in the kitchen!" yelled mom.

I came to the kitchen and saw her making dinner.

"Why don´t you invite her over some time?"

"Do you have security cameras or something? How do you even know Jiro?"

"That´s a secret."

"Dad, mom´s being creepy!"

"Remember your mother is always right." said dad from his study.

"*sigh* Mother dearest, you´re making it sound like she´s my girlfriend."

"And isn´t she?"

"MOM!"
