The Construction Site

"The construction site...they're all talking about the same place."

Brian stuffed the cloth balls into the Mediterranean and the Italian men's mouth. Ignoring their crazy reactions he pressed the light/electrocution switch and looked at Alex.

"I'm going there, Johnny. Are you in or are you out?" Brian asked looking at Alex.

"Relax Man, I am a person who keeps my promise, do what you have to do. We will rescue your daughter no matter what." Alex said with conviction.

"Whatever you do I am in 100%. This Johnny English ain't no coward buddy." Alex added while being amused by his new name.

Alex started to fiddle with the camera and said.

"Of course, you have to help me later."

"Are you going to show these videos on TV?" Brian looked at Alex with complicated eyes.

The filming and Alex's demands to hack into France's largest TV station made a logical connection. Brain now have a clear idea of what Alex has planned.

"It's easy to guess, isn't it?" Alex didn't deny it.

"Don't worry, our faces will be blured and edited out. The camera is one of the greatest and also the most hateful inventions of mankind, isn't it?"

"For what are you doing this? Justice? Mission?" Brian couldn't help asking.

"I'm not an incarnation of justice, and I don't have a mission. I just think that France is very hypocritical."

"They are known for their romance...it will be very interesting if things like human trafficking and all other curruptions going on here are brought forth for the whole world to see." Alex said as a crazy smile crept its way to his face.

Alex just wants to pierce the hypocritical facade of France (Most Romantic Nation), and reveal it's true face to the public.

It will be a big hit to the public's confidence in the government, and it will also reduce the international prestige of france... This level of a prank is enough for him to be happy for a while!

His eyes sparkled with excitement. He just want to pull such a small prank on all those who are behind these crimes. Public will surely be agitated after seeing all this. The more agitated and railed up the public the more fun it is will be for Alex.

He didn't have the chance to do such epic shit before...cough! Although it sounds a bit like the work of terrorists, Alex feels he is doing a good deed.

After all, he is a good person! Alex glanced at his 6 active attributes and replaced one of them with [Red - A Good Person].

"No matter how much evidence there is, they can still suppress it with words like 'This is terrorists work. It is self-directed and self-acted by them'. Coupled with speech control and news suppression, your actions may not meet expectations." Brian frowned persuasively.

"Give up, child. This world is far crueller than you imagine."

He has a good impression of Alex, who is willing to provide assistance to a stranger like him. Even Alex has a corresponding request that highlights his character. Such a pure soul.

There are very few good people these days. Especially Brian, who has seen too much filth knows how hard it is to find one. Alex is like an oasis in the desert for him.

As for why Brian thinks so?

Alex glanced at his current entry, and the [Red - Is a Good Man] he just replaced is continuously flashing and influencing Brian's thoughts.

Alex didn't know how powerful this entry is, but judging from Brian's obviously a little underwhelming words... it should be very effective.

After all, it's too strange for an agent, even if he's retired, to say such things after seeing Alex's strength... But if there is a [A Good Man] attribute then everything makes sense.

Therefore, Alex chose to try to speak in a way that the current Brian can understand.

"Someone needs to brink out this messy things in front of the world, Brian. No matter what."

Brian confirmed that Alex did this because of his inner sense of justice. Sure enough, he is a good boy! There are very few people like this now!

"All right." Brian nodded solemnly.

"I will do my best to help you."

Alex's expression was a bit strange as he was thinking along the lines of "the effect of the red attribute is so terrifying? "

Although it can be seen from the description of the previous attribute. Such an effect...it may be operating at the level of the universal laws themselves. FUCK!

After hesitating, Alex still changed his attribute to [Purple - Ace Agent].

Although it was a grade short, holding a good guy card didn't made him invincible. At least with the attributes, he has now placed in the 6 active slots. He have a basic means to protect himself.

If it was attributes like the good guy then he would have to place his safety in the hands of others. It is foolish to pin your hopes on others at any time unless you have no choice.

For example, what if you meet a hidden boss who hates good people? Then you are good as dead without any combat power.

That's really unreasonable you say? Well this is the marvel world and shit can go haywire any time.

"Let's solve your daughter's problem first. But what if she is not at that construction site?" Alex asked.

"Taken" is an old movie, and Alex only vaguely remembers parts of the plot, like Brian's daughter not being on that construction site...

It doesn't matter if you don't know the plot fully. Normal movies will always make the plots like this. According to common sense, there has to be some twists and turns to make the storyline's ups and downs exciting.

"It is impossible for a gang of this size to have only one stronghold. The construction site is used to 'attract low end customers'."

"The real core members of the gang will naturally be in other, safer and higher-level places. These few people here are miscellaneous fish. So she will most likely be at some place else." Alex explained.

Brian picked up a suitcase and threw it to Alex, saying: "But it doesn't matter. Someone, there will always know the whereabouts. You know how to use a gun, right?"

"I like to kill." Alex nodded and opened the suitcase, which contained a full set of weapons and equipment to arm a few soldier from head to toe.

Alex wonders where Brian got them and more importantly how the hell did he manage to stuff all these things inside a regular suitcase.

But as an agent, there is always a way to pull off impossible feats, even if he is retired. It's a very normal thing to do... Obviously, this group of people completely pissed off Brian.

"No, I didn't meant it like that. It's for your protection Johnny.... Ah! Forget it." Brian recalled Alex's actions before, he wouldn't believe that Alex didn't had any professional training before.

Brian observed Alex's fingers and didn't even see a single callus. Alex camouflage level is too good to be true, he thought. It even managed to fool him.

[Construction site]

As John, who has passed out completely on the electric chair. And will go on his jolly trip to hell in a short while, said, "this is a place that the every fucker knows. Even the police know about it..."

Alex is lying on a mound, and the camera in his hand faithfully recorded everything he saw.

The "construction site" is bustling with people coming and going, and excavators and other construction facilities are readily available in abundance.

At first glance, you will be surprised that there are such an enthusiastic working environment with such high end equipments. One will wonder how much the construction company has paid for all this stuff. Damn they are rich as fuck!, one will say.

But if you look closely, you will find that those so-called "workers" are not wearing uniforms and helmets. But are wearing normal clothes, holding money in their hands, and queuing in front of few rooms made of aluminium sheets.

The most unique scene happened when a police car came. The people in line didn't seem to panic even a bit on the contrary they seemed to look more happy. What the hell is going on?, you wonder.

Well the answer is revealed in the next scene - The two French policemen got off the car and joined the queue directly as if they had done this a thousand times.They are regular customers.

Alex didn't even bother to read their attributes. He could guess them all. As for the ability to modify entries, he planned to use them in more critical places and on more important people, these scums deserve to die.

"I'll sneak in later and see if I can find her there. If not, I'll tie up two more people for interrogation," Brian said.

"I thought you were in a hurry." Alex looked at Brian.

"What?" Brian was taken aback.

"There are only twenty-three members of this gang here. With their level of vigilance, about twenty of them can be killed silently without attracting any attention. Just leave a few alive for interrogation." Alex took out the pistol and dagger as he said casually.

"...That would cause a big commotion, and the authorities are likely to intervene. We shouldn't make such a big commotion." Brian frowned.

"Don't making a scene, you say? Do you think they have no official support behind them? Or if you just take away your daughter after killing their people, they will just let you go?" Alex raised his eyebrows.

"Anyway, they are all scumbags. If they want to take revenge they will do it no matter how less of a commotion you make. So it really doesn't matter." Alex said while looking Brian straight in the eyes.

"Well, it does make sense. But..."

"No buts Brian" Alex didn't let Brian finish.

"Do you want to find your daughter?"

"Yes, Johnny and I am willing to pay any price for it." Brian said with determination of a father, who will go to hell and come back for his kids.

"Then what are you waiting for. Believe me Brain when I say this, Johnny English knows what he is doing."

"Okay. If you say so."

"Then let the hunt begin..." Alex said with a predatory smile as he loaded his gun.
