Meanie Me!

Kiara is confuse of everyone staring at her while she is walking going to her room. " Never seen a girl riding in a limousine before?! Of course I am the heiress---- Oops I forgot I am not the same Kiara. " Kiara thought.

On the other hand, Violet, who see the girl coming out of the limousine. She is now having her singing lesson at the moment and she is distracted. Her teacher is now shouting at her . " If you cannot sing a single note properly then how can you expect to be a pride of your kingdom under the sea Miss Violet Mermaid?!?!" the teacher shouts. Violet cannot say anything and lower her gaze.

" What?! A mermaid?!?!?" Kiara cannot believe what she is hearing from Chicken right now. " This academy is not the same as your academy in your world that they based on money and nobility. Are you not curious that they are meticulously choosing a person who can come and go in this academy? It is because , this academy have all different kinds of mythological being. The things that you called a myth, a mermaid, vampires, werewolves and name it. They are all here. " Chicken explain. " But this is insane! How can such a creature exist in a academy?!" Kiara cannot be convince that easily but seeing Zilan in person makes her want to believe everything. " This academy is not just protected by the government , not just sponsored by the rich but also is protected by ancient magic and power to keep it's secret. " Chicken said in a proud voice. " No.No.No.No. Powers and magic only exist in fairytales and books. " Kiara said trying to process everything in her mind. " But why do those creature needs schooling? " Kiara is somewhat interested. " They are taught here how to get along with someone like you, humans. They are taught of every etiquette and attitude needed to blend with humans. So that they will not be in danger once they will meet one. Also , they are here to control whatever abilities they so that they won't hurt humans. " Chicken is explaining. " So you want me to get along with these creature and my karma chart will be balance and I will go back to my world right? " Kiara is getting everything straight. " Yes. " Chicken answer. " ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!?! ME?! AN ORDINARY HUMAN ?!?! WHAT IF THEY WILL EAT ME BEFORE I WILL GO BACK TO MY WORLD?!?!?!" Kiara is now having her future imagination. " I told you, no one can hurt you here. You have my word. The system will not allow for you to die in this parallel world. " Chicken is ignoring her.

There are two beds in one room and the other is taken. Kiara put her bags on the bed that is not taken. Then the door open. A girl with a book in her hands is now walking towards the opposite bed. Kiara did not bother to greet her because of many things in her mind right now. " So you are the one who is with Zilan? " The girl said. " I can smell his smell from you. He even give you a little bit of his aura in your lungs. " The girl is sniffing her and is now beside Kiara's bed. " What are you? " Kiara ask . A little paw is appearing on the girl's hand. " I am a witch cat. I just had a human form a few days ago so I cannot really control muyself from sniffing you. Old habbit die hard." she said. Kiara is shaking her head. " Atleast you are not gonna eat me, right? " Kiara said , she open her bag to give the girl a can of fish. " Ew. Cheap! " the girl complain but she still get the can and open it and eat it. Kiara arrange her things while Cath is eating the fish in the can.

" What are you writing that you even sacrifice to sleep early? " Chicken is peeping in the paper of Kiara that is busy writing with a desperate look. " It is 'to-do-good-list' !" Kiara is proud of what she wrote in the paper , her to-do-good list is numbered until one hundred. " Number is smiling sincerely? What makes you think that smiling infront of everyone is good? " Chicken nearly laugh out loud but is trying to contain its laughter. Kiara look at Chicken up to down and her one eyebrow went up. " Well, I have a classmate who is liked by everyone because she always smile so I will mimick her, of course if everybody likes me then I can have many friends then it is my first step in doing good. They will always come and ask for help, of course because I am a good person, I will help them. " Kiara is smiling to the scene that she is creating in her mind. Chicken shakes its head in a slow way, " It is because she like by everyone ,then it is a good thing.... " Chicken said. " That girl, I really envy her that I wish to become like her. But what to do? I am the only heiress of the Francez Family . I cannot be like her! Hahahaha... " Kiara is boasting confidently. Chicken just hit its forehead with its wings as a sign of embarassment of Kiara attitude.

" What a coincidence , my class and chair are the same in my original world. " Kiara thought. " Kiara Francez , nice meeting you all! " Kiara is energentic to introduce herself infront of everyone. As she planned last night she will act as the energetic , smiling and a friendly Kiara who is the opposite of herself. But her classmates just stare at her and no one smile. Kiara is now awkward but she still smile . " As you can read in the paper, go sit in your chair and this will be your class starting from now until you finish grade 10. " her teacher explain.

Kiara is still awkward when she sit down but she remember that she have to be good , so she just smile ignoring her classmates reaction. " So that is how an ordinary person will introduce herself? Boring. " Kiara heard her two classmates behind her who purposely talk loud for her to hear. " Ordinary people??!?!?!?" Kiara's patience is starting to go down to the ground. " Kiara, remember to be good in your first day. " She remember what Chicken told her yesterday , so she ignore them and just focus on listening.

" Strange how I understand what the teacher is teaching.I don't know that I am smart. " Kiara is talking to herself. " The Kiara here in this world is smart. Correction. " Chicken appears suddenly. " Now that I don't need you then you are appearing out of nowhere! " Kiara hiss and roll her eyes. " It is how the system works. " Chicken said. Kiara hear a beautiful melody , " Can you hear that? Isn't it beautiful? It is one of my favorite melody in my world. " Kiara said and finding where the sound came from. " Kiara be careful! That song is coming a siren." Chicken said but Kiara who is now far did not hear it.

Kiara go to the theatre whe she see Violet on the stage. She is in the middle and a spot light is following her every move but a voice suddenly stop her from singing. " I told you that you need to reach that note!! And you call yourself a mermaid! " a middle aged man shouts and he throw the papers that he is holding.
