>{Unnamed Fire Dao} (Origin: Nine-Tailed Fox Clan) (Lesser Grade)

[ Acquired from the remnants of the Silver Blue Fox, descendants of the famed Nine-Tailed Fox Clan. Though the bloodline is exceptionally thin, it still carries a trace of this clan's blessings. Blessed by the Heavenly Luminous Azure Flames, the clan is famous for their control over illusions and the extraordinary ability to wield sacred azure flames that have the profound capability to purify malevolent spirits.]

'Hmm…What's this?', Liu Feng's eyes narrowed as he carefully read the description of the newly acquired fire Dao Fragments he had just obtained. He realized the difference between the two.

The elemental Dao Fragments he had received earlier were ordinary elements. But this time, the Fire Dao Fragments were unique. They originated from the Nine-Tailed Fox with a special ability to control fire.

'Tch…This looks interesting, but too bad, I only have 5 of them. I cannot synthesize any medium from them.'

Liu Feng was not disappointed though, he decided to save it for later and infused other Beast Dao Fragments into his movement technique.

In the meantime, Liu Feng realized that Zhang Yan was also improving his proficiency. Earlier which was taking him hours to finish, he finished it in less than thirty minutes.

The next day, they encountered the Sixteen-Legged Tyrant Widow. Liu Feng's powerful strikes and Zhang Yan's quick reflexes soon secured the corpse of the beast.

>{Unnamed Beast Dao} (Origin: Thousand-Legged Eclipse Arachnos) (Lesser Fragment)

[ Acquired from the remnants of Sixteen-Legged Tyrant Widow, descendants of the Thousand-Legged Dowager from Endless Abyss Cave. Though the bloodline is exceptionally thin, it still carries the essence of this long-forgotten ancient race. They were famous for their deadly poison.]

Securing the body of the creature, and resting for while they moved on.

They went hunting the Aquatic Iron Toad next which had an incredible defence. Zhang Yan took one direct hit from the mid-level demon beast and got injured. So, Liu Feng had to fight the knot of the toads alone.

They were not too difficult to defeat but the sheer numbers made it difficult to counter them. They were small creatures but the iron defence made it worse.

Using his newly enhanced version of the Whip technique, he burned a large number of the whole area. Soon the frogs were defeated after a long-fought battle.

Liu Feng directly infused the Beast Dao Fragments into his body cultivation to achieve the same effects.

Unsurprisingly, he got his desired effect and got another passive ability of [Enhanced Defence] added to it.

As Zhang Yan was injured, and Liu Feng was very tired, they decided to take a break. It was already five days since they were continuously hunting the animals.

Liu Feng also continued to increase his proficiency with his newly modified martial techniques and after cultivation for a day, Zhang Yan was fully healed.

Next, they hunted a couple of Crimson Lions. Entering its territory, Liu Feng felt nostalgic.

He remembered his initial days in this foreign world. As their tragic roars reverberated through the forest, Liu Feng and Zhang Yan finished them off.

Zhang Yan and Liu Feng, both were improving very quickly in visible rate.

It has to be noticed that Liu Feng's stealth ability improved to a very high degree but the next target, the Green Venom Deer's stealth proved to be almost equal to him. It was a worthy adversary, but the duo still won.

Liu Feng, without any hesitation, infused the Dao fragments into his movement technique.

The Tempest Wolf had unparalleled speed, but Liu Feng matched it with his poison and stealth. He collected the Dao Fragments and infused them with his movement technique.

It was already the seventh day, Liu Feng looked at his map. Only two places were not crossed out.

'Jade Viper Queen and Purple Forest Scorpions…huh… Li He did mention that these two were the deadliest among all of the animals here and if any ordinary people get poisoned by them there will be no way to cure them.'

Liu Feng looked at Zhang Yan, questioning whether to include him in his next hunt.

"Alright! Let's take a break for the day", Liu Feng told Zhang Yan that they would not be hunting anymore today and instead, they would be training.

Liu Feng cultivated and practiced all of his martial techniques with Zhang Yan, correcting his mistakes along the way.

The next day Liu Feng finally made the decision and informed Zhang Yan that he would not be taking part in the next hunts.

He was disheartened but when Liu Feng made him understand and told him that there was a real possibility of death, Zhang Yan calmed down.

"It's better if you go hunt low-level beasts and use their blood to cultivate. There will be more opportunities in the future"

'It's better to go alone for me, I have poison resistance and healing abilities so it should not be too difficult for me.'

Soon Liu Feng entered the territory of the Jade Viper Queen. It was a fierce adversary. Its hide was tough to pierce and it used deadly poison that burned the ground wherever it spit.

But apart from that it was very slow, so he decided to use his stealth and speed to his advantage. Using [Beast God's Whip Art], he unleashed a fury of powerful flaming strikes. Liu Feng took several burns on his body but after a long fight and many slashing, he was finally able to defeat it.

Taking the Dao Fragments, he realized why it was so difficult to fight it.

> {Unnamed Poison Dao} (Origin: Seven Coloured Jade Serpents) (Lesser Grade)

[ Obtained from a Jade Viper Queen, believed to be the descendants of the Seven Coloured Jade Serpents. Despite the bloodline being extraordinarily faint, there remains a lingering trace of the deadly venom in its kin's blood. Mastering their lethal poison, they wielded the Burning Jade Venom Essence to reign supreme over the Serpent Valley, instilling fear in all who dare to cross their path.]

There were only six of such elemental fragments so he decided to infuse it in his cultivation technique. For the other Beast Dao Fragments, he infused it in his body cultivation technique to improve his defense.

After meeting up with Zhang Yan, Liu Feng decided to take a rest and focus on cultivation for a while. He spent a couple of hours engrossed in his cultivation, and when he finally stopped, he noticed that the burn from the previous battle had only left a faint scar on his body.

'Well, I really don't like having markings on my body but I guess these are my battle scars,' Liu Feng let out a soft chuckle.

Liu Feng realized that it was already afternoon so he decided to stop hunting for the day. He found a suitable spot for the night.

The next day, he went after the Purple Forest Scorpion, a creature residing in deeper parts of the Yinsha Forest. This area marked almost the end of the middle region of the deadly forest.

As Liu Feng entered the marked area, he suddenly sensed the aura of danger surrounding him. Quickly using [Beast God's Movement Art], he created some open space but the creature quickly disappeared.

After some time, he was able to notice his opponent. Its exoskeleton glowed with an iridescent purple hue, and its pincers looked ready to pierce its opponent with a precise strike.

With its silent movements, it attempted to corner Liu Feng, but he swiftly moved and avoided its attacks. Each strike by the scorpion's tail left behind an ominous purple trail.

As the battle raged on, Liu Feng observed the scorpion's patterns. It was fast, stealthy, and deathly but it had weak defenses. Using his furious [ Beast God's Whip Art] and an extremely sharp water claw attack, he finally defeated it.

Finally, he collected the Dao Fragments and as he expected, there was a special type of poison fragments.

> {Unnamed Poison Dao} (Origin: Ancient Amethyst Scorpions) (Lesser Grade)

[ Obtained from the Purple Forest Scorpions, descendants of the Ancient Amethyst Scorpions. Though the bloodline is extremely faint, a trace of this deadly beast's deadly amethyst blood flows through its body. Once ruling the Veiled Crystal Cave with their extraordinary skill, they were renowned for their lethal venom - the Purple Death Venom, and incredible stealth. This made them one of the most formidable predators in the ancient world.]

He quickly infused the poison fragments into his cultivation technique and the Beast Dao Fragments into his movement technique.

'Finally, it's done….Sigh~', Liu Feng looked forward to returning to the city as he met with Zhang Yan.
