Chapter 3: New Beginnings

A/N: I have a list of images of characters and other things ready to post. Originally, I thought of adding them as they appear in the story. That is still the idea. Let me know if you want me to just add most of them now, at the beginning. Enjoy!

<ASGARD>

-3RD POV-

In a room inside of a large palace, a woman was lying on a bed while breathing heavily.

"A few more efforts and she'll be here, Your Majesty."

There were two more women in the same room as the queen. They were helping her to deliver her children. One would expect the scenery to be livelier, but the atmosphere was rough instead. Outside the palace, both soldiers and civilians were training hard to improve each other's fighting abilities. Weapons and battle strategies were being given out and discussed, all in preparation for what was to come.

The Asgard-Heven War.

On a rainbow bridge above the waters, an army of 20,000 soldiers were marching to battle behind a radiating figure holding a golden spear. The male had a brownish-grayish beard, golden armor, and was mounted on top of an eight-legged white horse.

This was Odin Borson, the King of Asgard.

After reaching the end of the bridge, they then walked into a circular tunnel on a wall, which vanished them in a rainbow aura.

"Waaaaahhhh"

Back inside the palace, the queen now held a small baby within her arms. The whining baby was imitating a golden glow. She had small red tufts on her head, and bizarrely, held a somewhat fierce gaze on her face.

"She's lovely, my Queen." One of the women commented. The other also grinned joyfully seeing the princess being born.

The queen smiled and gave her daughter to the women by her side.

\\\12 MINUTES LATER///

The queen was once again breathing unevenly and in visible pain.

"One last push, Your Majesty."

Then, the second infant was born. The queen raised him and was amazed.

His eyes were different colors.

His right eye was red, while the left eye was green. He also had small, black clumps of hair on his head.

What also surprised her was the fact that the baby did not cry. He was silent, and his eyes were seemingly observing everything around him. Unlike her daughter, her son was imitating a darker aura.

The two women by her side were also shocked. "Your Majesty, he's…"

"Special." The queen smiled.

\\\16 HOURS LATER///

When the king returned to the palace, he was surprised that his queen wasn't present to greet him at the entrance.

He made his way towards their room and opened the door.

There, she was sitting upright on their bed. He saw her gently rocking their daughter back and forth, while singing a beautiful Aesir melody. He felt his daughter's warrior aura and felt proud.

He then glanced to their side, where his son was situated. He was also surprised by his eyes, even if the expression on his face lasted for less than a second before returning to its usual rock-hard appearance.

"Aldrif Odinsdottir and Kyro Odinson." Frigga looked up to him and beamed.

Odin showed a small smile.

'Warriors.' He thought.

[2 WEEKS LATER]

<ASGARD>

-KYRO POV-

"HALT"

"STOP"

"Ahhhhhh"

'This is going to be interesting.' I thought.

Not to say that I don't feel a bond with my sister, but I am slightly irked by the situation she put me in.

In the comics, Aldrif was the firstborn of Odin, therefore she was the heir to the throne. However, as an infant during the war with Heven, she was kidnapped by the Queen of Angels when she snuck into Asgard. Odin thought that she killed Aldrif, so he sealed off Heven and the Angels from the other realms, thus unknowingly sealing Aldrif as well. This was how the Nine Realms came to be. However, Aldrif was saved by Loriel. Aldrif didn't know that she was originally from the royal family of Asgard, so she was raised believing that she was born an Angel. Then she became Angela, the Leader of the Hunt.

'It looks like she is on a rampage to here.'

Odin must have added more protection to the palace than in the comics, because she was caught right as she entered. However, she is still too much for the guards.

*BOOM*

The Queen of Heven smashed the door open and has now set her eyes on the prizes.

'FUCK. I have never felt so useless and vulnerable.' Faced upon the reality that I might die; I am now feeling very alarmed.

'The Originator wouldn't do this to me, right?' But he did say that he wouldn't aid me after my reincarnation.

Right as she walks in, my mother appears in front of her.

'So, they did watch over us. Looks like my extra presence caused them to take more caution.'

My mother swings and forces the Queen of Angels to fly back. She twirls and goes for another hit but is avoided again. When she goes for another swing, the Queen of Angels already knows what to expect. She dodges and quickly puts a sword through her chest, just for the illusion of my mother to disappear.

"How DARE you Angel, have you no honor? I did not expect you to go to such lengths." A voice from seemingly nowhere questions. The Queen of Angels looks around, trying to find the voice.

Suddenly, whips start forming in the air and bind the Queen of Angels to the ground, on her knees.

"Stop this mockery!" The Queen of Angels thrashes around and shouts.

"Only if you agree to cease your attacks upon Asgard. Have gratitude for my mercy." My real mother appears behind her.

The Queen of Angels thrashes around for a little longer, but to no avail. She finally gives in.

"You have bested me this time, but the next shall be different!"

"I can only hope that you aren't foolish enough to attempt something like this again."

Mother released the Queen of Angels, and she fled back to where the battle was taking place.

\\\22 HOURS LATER///

When the Queen of Angels arrived at the battlefield, she called off her forces and retired back to Heven. This ended the war between Asgard and Heven. Though father was outraged when he heard what the Queen of Angels almost succeeded in doing, mother convinced him to spare the Angels to maintain the peace in the Ten Realms. Although they weren't sealed, Heven still suffered major losses. It was obvious that it would take some time to restore things back to normal there. Asgard also suffered some losses, but it was covered up by the great feast they had the next day to celebrate their victory.

Most importantly however, Aldrif will stay and be raised in Asgard as the rightful heir to the throne. It'll be interesting to see how much more powerful she will be than her comic self, as well as what her divinities will be.

I am excited for what is to come.

A/N: My last major change will be to add more powers to the MC's character information. I will add many comic characters and groups that are also very powerful so that this novel can be intriguing and fun.
