The Battle

"Eric!"

Alex pointed towards Magneto, a wry smile on his face as he shouted, "Snag it, Magneto!"

"Snag a submarine?"

Eric shook his head and hollered, "It's too massive! I can't manage it."

"Eric, your power can move the earth itself! A submarine is nothing. Embrace the power of the earth; the magnetic field is all around us!"

Alex reached over, giving Eric a hearty pat on the shoulder. "Remember the days in that concentration camp, Eric. Believe in yourself! And let's fuck up that bastard Sebastian!"

"Alright!"

Emerging from the cabin, Eric stood on the plane's landing gear, facing the sea. Following the sound wave's direction, he stretched out his hand.

"AAAAAAAAAA!"

With a wild roar, a colossal magnetic storm erupted. The immense force lifted the submarine from the ocean floor, hauling the massive nuclear vessel from beneath the waves.

"Oh, my stars!"

On the sea, the officers and soldiers of both fleets were wide-eyed in disbelief at the spectacle.

One person lifting a submarine from the depths? What kind of terrifying power was this?

Mutants... they're a fearsome bunch!

Fear brewed anxiety. Fear cultivated hatred. Mutants were now seen as the ultimate enemy that must be eradicated!

Reports flooded the headquarters about the front-line situation. The two previously adversarial factions suddenly found common ground – mutants must be eliminated!

"Tempest!"

Ascending from the sea, the submarine hanging in mid-air, the cyclone opened its hatch as a figure emerged. With a swift motion of both hands, a tempest unleashed, sweeping towards the aircraft above.

The storm tossed the plane, sending it into a freefall.

The violent impact forced Eric to cling to the landing gear to avoid being thrown off. The submarine he had grabbed slipped from his grasp!

With a resounding crash, the submarine slammed heavily onto a nearby island.

Alex released his magnetic control, supporting the falling plane, and landed on the beach.

"Sebastian, face me!"

Eric bellowed, extending his hand to tear off the metal shell enclosing the submarine. Charging inside, Eric sought out Sebastian to settle the score.

"Whoosh!"

The crimson devil teleported, appearing behind Eric, brandishing a long knife to strike.

"Duck!"

A swift hand movement, a steel plate hurtled towards the red devil, propelling him into the air.

"Hey, look over yonder!"

Teleported in a rush, narrowly dodging the peril of being squashed by the iron plate, the Red Devil, never one to stay still for long, was suddenly met with a thunderous roar.

With a resounding "bang," a colossal fist adorned with blue hair collided with the Red Devil's head, sending him into a state of darkness as he tumbled to the ground.

"Storm..."

In the midst of preparing to unleash the storm's "cyclone," a sudden roar reverberated, causing eardrums to vibrate violently, brains to shake, and bodies to quiver uncontrollably.

"Take a tumble!"

Sonic exclaimed with a "pop" as the whirlwind staggered, dazed, shaking its head before succumbing to the effects of the "infrasound."

"Done! A simple skirmish!"

"Wow, that's downright impressive!"

Thumbs went up from the onlookers.

"Where's Sebastian? Anyone seen him?"

Grete burst out of the plane, seeking information from the group.

"Eric's having a chat with him."

Alex, nonchalant, gestured towards the nuclear submarine and uttered casually: "Let 'em chat at their own pace! No rush, we've got time!"

"Sebastian, show yourself!"

Eric bellowed, manipulating magnetic forces to disassemble the submarine. Metal pieces scattered, revealing Sebastian's whereabouts.

"Eric, power cabin! Sebastian's holed up in the power cabin!"

Observing Eric's systematic destruction, Alex, somewhat dumbfounded, used his psychic prowess to guide him.

"Power cabin?"

Eric swiveled, casting his gaze to the submarine's rear, clasped his hands together, and declared, "Break!"

Metal fragments flew, and the power cabin disassembled. Sebastian, gripping a nuclear fuel rod and absorbing its energy, emerged before Eric.

"Sebastian, meet your demise!"

Fury unleashed, Eric extended his hand, and steel plates soared like razor-sharp blades, slashing towards Sebastian.

"Eric?"

Sebastian lifted his head, exchanged a glance with Eric, grinned, released the fuel rod, allowing Eric's propelled steel plates to strike him.

"Can't you be a bit more cunning? You should realize your attacks mean nothing to me."

With a smile plastered on his face, Sebastian raised his palm, flicked his finger at Eric.

"Boom!"

A tremendous force erupted, slamming into Eric, sending him flying.

Sebastian, charged with immense nuclear energy, held power comparable to a humanoid nuclear bomb. Every gesture emanated tremendous power, rendering Eric powerless against a mere snap.
