CHAPTER 8
After they left the shawarma store, they went to the Stark Tower.
At Stark Tower.
"Listen, when he asks us about Loki's spear, we're going to say that the spear was destroyed when the portal closed" (Liam).
At this they all looked towards him and Liam seeing that he had their continued attention.
"Because, if we leave it to SHIELD, even if Fury doesn't want to, they're still going to try to make weapons out of it" Liam said to which the others agreed.
Liam turning his gaze to Thor.
"You, you sure are going to want to take the Tesseract" (Liam).
"Yes, the Tesseract is a power that humans can't control, no offense" (Thor).
To this Liam nodded, but inside 'I'm letting you take the Tesseract because the idiots on the council or HYDRA are going to want to keep experimenting with it. And the other is that I still don't want to antagonize Odin. Besides, he's not that safe in Asgard, but I'm going to leave him for now'.
"Well, I'm going to go hide the spear and I'll be right back" said Liam as he rolled the spear in a blanket and flew off to his destination.
Ten minutes passed and Liam returned without the spear.
"Well, while I was carrying the spear, Fury got in touch and told me that the helicarrier landed at the SHIELD base and that Loki is still locked up, they're waiting for us to come and move him to the base" (Liam).
"You guys go ahead and I'll stay here because I have a lot of work to do plus, I have to rebuild the tower" (Tony).
"I'll stay here with Tony since he had offered me a job" (Bruce)
"Sure Doc, no problem" (Tony)
Seeing that no one else was talking Liam said.
"The rest of us go then" (Liam).

At the SHIELD base.
There was Liam in front of Loki, who was in the cage.
"Listen I'm going to go in and I'm going to put these handcuffs on you, don't try to break it or anything because they are made of a material that with your little strength you won't be able to break it" said Liam with a serious expression.
With that said, Liam opened the cage, approached Loki, put the handcuffs on him and spoke.
"Listen to me, I'm doing this because I don't want to antagonize Asgard, but if you ever return to earth or do anything to harm the people who live on it, no one on the nine worlds can save you," said Liam releasing a bit of killing intent.
At this, Loki swallowed hard and said stuttering at first.
"You- You're going to let me go, as hypocritical as Odin and Thor are, it won't be long before I'm free" said Loki fearfully.
"Oh, I know, but remember what I said before, you step on earth neither Thor nor Odin will be able to save you" (Liam).
With that said, Liam grabbed Loki by the arm, pulled him out of the cage and out of the helicarrier, taking him to his new room which was exactly the same as the previous one only it was at the SHIELD base.
Leaving Loki in his new cage, Liam headed for the room where Thor was.
"Thor, you heard what I said to Loki on the Helicarrier didn't you?" (Liam)
Hearing this, Thor frowned, looked at him and nodded.
"For the record I am telling the truth, then keep Loki away so we don't get into unnecessary conflict" (Liam).
"Don't worry, a trial will be held in Asgard and Loki will be under arrest for a long time and it will be very difficult for him to escape from where he will be locked up" (Thor).
Liam nodding said.
"I hope so" Liam said with a serious look on his face.
But inside Liam was thinking 'Ha, as if it's possible at the slightest carelessness Loki is going to escape seeing how hypocritical the Asgardians are'.

In a meeting room at the SHIELD base.
Fury was standing and across from him was The Council. Fury was showing them what the news and people thought of the Avengers.
The Council ignoring what Fury was showing them spoke up.
"What happened to the Tesseract and Loki's spear that you allowed your agent to steal it" (The Council).
At this, Fury closed what he was showing them and spoke.
"The spear was destroyed when the portal was closed, which by the way saved millions of lives" said Fury to which The Council looked at him with an expressionless face.
"And the Tesseract will be where it belongs out of our reach" (Fury).
"That's not your decision" (The Council).
"I didn't take it; I just didn't want to argue with a god and a man who rivals or surpasses his strength (he's talking about Liam)" (Fury).
With this The Council was silent until they spoke.
"When were you going to tell us that Agent Smith could rival gods or the Hulk?" (The Council)
"That I can only say with no problem, I didn't know either until I saw him as you did" Fury said smiling.
"His power keeps growing and with the tests we did we found nothing, where exactly does his power come from" (The Council).
"The origin of his parents is non-existent, the only thing we know is that he was left in that orphanage and we are not even sure it was his parents" (The Council).
"If he continues to gain strength, he could be a threat to us" (The Council).
"Whoa, stop there, why are you guys assuming Agent Smith is a threat?" said Fury questioning them.
"Besides he never showed any signs of being a threat to SHIELD, by far our best agent along with Agent Barton and Agent Romanoff. Together they have fought missions that have saved millions of lives and if I recall correctly, you President Edevane (one of the Council) was kidnapped and saved by them. So, to question Agent Smith, is to question yourselves and what little peace we have achieved these past few years," said Fury in a raised tone.

At this, Fury saw that the council had expressions as if they had stepped in dog poop and spoke.
"This ends it," Fury said and cut the call short.
