CHAPTER 12

2 weeks later.

Liam went out to go shopping at the supermarket, on the way he was thinking that Natasha and he had done it many times and that Natasha could get pregnant, everything that was about to come into the world he wondered if it was right to have a child, but thinking about Natasha that what she wanted most was a child he decided to go ahead and protect them from everything that was about to come.

Arriving, he parked the car and got into the house.

"Natasha I'm back, I brought your favorite potatoes," said Liam raising his voice.

Seeing that Natasha wasn't answering Liam went to the living room and she wasn't there either, he went to the kitchen and she wasn't there. He left all the stuff on the living room table and went up to the second floor, he went to his room and Natasha was sitting on the bed looking down.

"Natasha is everything ok," Liam asked with concern.

Natasha turned her head towards Liam, noticing Natasha who was tearing up Liam got even more worried he went towards Natasha, but before he can move forward, she turned around completely and showed what she had in her hand and spoke.

"I'm pregnant," Natasha said wiping away tears.

Liam's head stopped working for a few seconds until he came to his senses and spoke.

"I'm GOING TO BE A DADDY!" shouted Liam as he raised both hands upwards.

With that said, Liam walked over to Natasha, hugged and kissed her, and spoke again.

"We're going to be mom and dad," said Liam whispering to Natasha.

Natasha looked at him, nodded, started to tear up, and hugged him tighter. Liam felt how Natasha hugged him, he felt satisfaction and hugged her back, and they stayed like that for a long time.

Two weeks later.

At Clint's farm.

Natasha and Liam got out of the car; Clint was waiting for them.

"Clint, how are you?" (Liam)

"Natasha, Liam us all good and how are you guys?" (Clint)

"We are very well, now let's go I want to see Laura, I haven't seen her for a long time," said Natasha as she started walking towards the house.

Clint looking at Natasha who was leaving told Liam to go inside the house.

Natasha walked into the house and saw Laura already waiting.

"Laura long time no see," said Natasha, she walked forward and hugged Laura.

"Yes, long time no see Natasha, I see you are doing quite well," said Laura pulling away from the hug and lifting Natasha's hand, which on the ring finger was an engagement ring.

"hehe, yes I had a great time, but I have another surprise, but I'll say that for later," said Natasha smiling.

Just then Liam and Clint walked in.

"What's going on why are you holding Natasha's hand?" asked Clint.

Laura saw that her husband was missing something so important when they arrived and spoke.

"As usual men miss the most important thing," said Laura shaking her head and holding up Natasha's hand to show it to Clint.

Clint seeing Natasha's hand stood for a few seconds wondering what it was until he saw the ring and spoke.

"Oh, congratulations," said Clint looking at Liam and Natasha.

"Your eye can see for miles, but it can't see this," said Liam as he teased his friend.

After this, they saw their two nieces and nephews who were Cooper and Lila. An hour passed and the food was ready and they sat down at the table. After dinner, Laura took the children to their room and put them to bed.

Laura went back into the living room and sat down next to Clint and spoke.

"So, what's the surprise?" said Laura looking at Natasha and Liam.

"Well, the first one is that we would like them to be our best man and bridesmaid at our wedding." (Natasha)

"Of course, we would and when will the wedding be?" (Laura)

"The wedding will be in a month, but just the four of us, we don't want to attract too much attention" (Liam).

"Understandable," said Laura nodding.

"Well, the other surprise is that I'm pregnant," said Natasha looking seriously at Laura and Clint.

BOOOOM, that's what went off in Clint and Laura's heads.

Snapping out of her daze Laura asked.

"H-How is that possible?" asked Laura half stunned.

"Yes, how is that possible?" asked Clint in the same daze as his wife.

"Well, this is where I come in," said Liam, who was prepared.

Liam started to tell them the excuse he came up with.

[a/n: The excuse leave it to your imagination xD].

Finishing telling the excuse to which Laura hugged Natasha and Liam and spoke.

"I'm so happy for you guys," Laura said as she had red eyes.

Watching as Laura hugged them Liam and Natasha looked at each other and smiled while thinking that having friends like that is worth it.

Clint looking sideways spoke.

"Congratulations," Clint said smiling.

They spent a few seconds hugging until Laura pulled away and Clint seeing this spoke.

"How are they going to go about explaining all this to SHIELD," Clint SAID with a hint of concern.

"I'm going to tell them what I told you guys, can't do anything to go against me either, yet." (Liam)

"Still, so you're saying in the future they can do something?" asked Clint.

"That's just my guess, but maybe so, but not right now so we're good, for now" (Liam).

Seeing that the mood was dropping from what Liam said, Laura spoke up.

"Now that Natasha is pregnant, I'm going to give them some advice," Laura said smiling.

After giving a couple of tips the girls continued talking, but Liam called Clint to go talk outside.

"What's up?" (Clint)

"Clint from now on things are going to get very complicated in the whole environment around us," Liam said seriously.

Listening to Liam, Clint spoke up.

"And when wasn't it complicated?" (Clint)

"I'm telling you seriously, I have a feeling that the Manhattan invasion is not going to be the only one, that's why I'm telling you to be alert, that it can get more complicated than you think" (Liam).

Hearing this Clint changed his look to a serious one and spoke.

"I see, when that happens, I will try to be there" (Clint).

Hearing this, Liam nodded and continued talking to Clint, but changed the subject and asked him for some advice on how to be a father who wouldn't be around all the time, as he would have a bit of a full schedule in the future.

[People, I'm going to skip Iron Man 3, I just don't feel like writing about that movie].

[If some of you are wondering if I rushed to get Natasha pregnant, you may be right, but I wanted to give Natasha happiness, not like in the blessed movies].

[Another thing, sorry for the delay in the chapters, it's just that since I had a mini-vacation, I went to my hometown and I didn't feel like writing xD]
