CHAPTER 11

Liam woke up, turned to his right, and saw that Natasha was awake and looking at him with a worried face. Seeing Liam watching her Natasha spoke.

"Liam how did you make me heal every imperfection in my body." (Natasha)

Hearing this, Liam put on a smile and spoke.

"Well, you remember when I told you about every time, I fight a human that has enhanced strength or has something that helps them reach a strength that someone normally can't reach or also something beyond a human-like Thor or Loki, I get abilities like regeneration or being able to fly. Well in my last confrontation with Loki and the Chitauri, I got the ability to regenerate any imperfection in anyone's body, but I could only use it once and when I got that ability, I knew which person I had to use it on" said Liam as he put his hand and caressed Natasha's cheek.

When she felt Liam's hand caress her, Natasha's worried expression lessened, but she continued to ask.

"How are we going to do when they ask us how by a miracle, I was able to regenerate my body?" (Natasha)

"Well, when the time comes, I'm going to make something up," said Liam laughing.

Natasha saw how calm Liam was and wondered if regenerating part of people's bodies was that easy.

"You know what you've done, if SHIELD finds out they'll be looking for you even under the bed" (Natasha).

"That I know, but what can they do I'm going to tell them that Thor gave me an artifact that can regenerate body parts and he gave it to me because I let him take Loki and the cube."

Natasha rolled her eyes and thought 'Like anyone is going to believe that explanation.'

Seeing how Natasha looked at him, Liam said.

"It's okay, when they ask me, I'll figure it out," Liam said as he stood up.

Looking at Liam who stood up Natasha spoke.

"I'm going to keep sleeping" (Natasha).

"Well, I'm going to go out for a while my strength is up again and I want to see how much it increases," Liam said as he kissed Natasha on the forehead, to which she nodded and settled down to sleep.

30 minutes later.

Somewhere deserted.

'Status' thought Liam interacted with the system.

Liam, feeling his strength increase, speaks out loud.

"Now with this increase in my stats I think I can put up a fight against Thanos without any infinity gems," said Liam as he threw punches in the air.

He then tested his speed, he tested flying, and running, and realized he was going twice as fast.

After trying other things, when he adjusted to his increased abilities he headed back home.

Upon arriving home Liam walked in the door.

"Natasha I'm back," said Liam raising his voice for Natasha to hear.

"I'm in the living room," said Natasha raising her voice as well.

When she got to the living room, she saw that it wasn't just Natasha in the room, there were also two women, one around 40 and the other between 16 and 18 years old.

"I see we have visitors" (Liam)

"Yes, this is Martha Miller and her daughter Emma, our neighbors," said Natasha as she introduced to mother and daughter.

"Hello my name is Liam Smith, nice to meet you, and thank you for the cake," said Liam as he looked at the cake on the table.

"The pleasure is ours and you don't have to say thank you, take it as a welcome gift," Martha said as she smiled.

The little girl was staring at Liam mesmerizing a little blushing, to which Liam noticing, smiled at her. Martha, seeing her daughter looking at Liam hypnotized, nudged her, to which the girl came out of her daze and spoke.

"H-Hi my name is E-Emma nice to meet you," said the girl quickly stuttering.

Seeing this Natasha laughed covering her mouth, Liam listening to the girl smiled and spoke.

"Nice to meet you" (Liam).

Sitting down next to Natasha Liam continued.

"So, what were you guys talking about," Liam said looking at Natasha.

"Well, we were talking about a lot of things, that you bought the house a year ago and yesterday we moved in and what happened in Manhattan" (Natasha).

"That's right and the Manhattan thing was terrible," Liam said with a rueful face.

"Yeah, who would have thought there were aliens like the movies and they would come and attack us, crazy," said Martha with a worried face.

To which Liam and Natasha nodded. They then continued to talk for a few minutes until Martha and her daughter left.

When Martha and her daughter left Liam looked at Natasha and spoke.

"It looks like SHIELD got us out of all the information about what happened in Manhattan, but they can't hide all the information someday something is going to come out about us" (Liam).

"That's true, it looks like we're going to have to move when that happens" (Natasha).

"Maybe we can buy a farm near Clint's, it's very peaceful there, but we'll move when everyone knows who we are," said Liam to which Natasha nodded.

[A/N: The truth is that my mind can't come up with an excuse to tell the rest of this comment follows when I post, is that I didn't even find an excuse for how he regenerated Natasha. But you wonder why he doesn't tell her he got a new power if you already know he gets powers, well it's because he could only do it with Natasha and if he tells SHIELD, SHIELD is going to ask him to regenerate people and he won't be able to. Unless he tells him that he could only use the power once and that he only used it on Natasha. I know, I'm just making this complicated myself xD].
