Chapter 017 | “He thinks, he can make the Woman he loves happy, when he kills her beloved son out of Spite and Jealousy!”

Don Santino's Restaurant.

Lex POV.

I sat down and began to size Santino up…he is a middle-aged man with grey hair, he is also starting to have wrinkles on his face, and he is skinny no doubt…all this indicates, that he is under a lot of stress.

I don't care though, as long as it doesn't affect me or my plans…he can die already, he is not useful to me anymore, I took all of his Businesses and Employees, but he doesn't need to know that.

He is openly inviting to this place, shows me, this is his Power Move…right now in his territory, I have also seen a few armed guards sitting there waiting for me to make an incorrect move, I honestly don't care though…his man is nothing to me now.

The moment…I came to meet him, I have come up with thousands of different plans and schemes to take care of him, if he dare steps out of line…he is confident, he thinks he has the high ground, but it's really just a false illusion.

"Why did you want me to meet you here, Don Santino!"

"Haha! Don't worry Lex, I wanted to meet you here to discuss a Business Expenditure, your Power and Reputation is growing…I only just one to help you out, while getting a piece of the pie."

Seeing him there with that obviously fake smile…I knew he would say that, his Organization is falling and him coming here talking to me like an old friend is really stupid…he thinks just because we are old acquaintances, he can gain some benefits.

"What I think, Don Santino..out of respect for you, we should really discuss your retirement, you could be my advisor…while telling all of your knowledge about the Criminal Underworld, you have been hailed as "Don" for 35 years now."

"I think it has time you retire and enjoy your life." Said Lex, as he was getting ready to poison Santino, if Santino retires…Lex will use Poison Ivy's to kill him. Santino is already getting old, Lex has figured out…Santino has a bad heart with his X-Ray Vision.

"I know, I'm getting old, but I have so much to prove and goals to accomplish…I want rest, until I see the Irish Mob back on top." Said Santino, as he verbally refuses Lex's suggestion.

"That is truly disappointing, I really wanted you to become my advisor, at least you would be useful for something, instead of being my stepping stone, but I guess we always can't have what we want."

Said Lex, as he activates the Poison, the Poison is directly stopping Santino's blood flow and and clogging up his Organs and Cells, his already weak heart is slowing down.

"Are you alright, Don Santino?" Said Lex, as he smiles, Santino's body is becoming cold at a rapid rate, Lex is seeing this with a sadistic grin on his face.

Santino's heart is slowing down and his face is becoming purple, the people, that works for Santino is startled and immediately rushes towards him with terrified expression on his face.

"Don Santino! What is wrong? Why is your heartbeat slowing down?" All kinds of whispers in the surroundings were heard by Lex, but he doesn't care, Santino has been useless for awhile now, Lex is just speeding up his death.

"Yo-You bastard, you won't get away with this!" Said, Santino, as he dies with a betrayed look in his eyes, his men immediately dropped him down on the floor and points their guns at Lex.

"You bastard! You have no honor or integrity!" Said, the men, as they were about to shoot Lex, Lex is still sitting calmly on his chair, while looking at the scared men.

"Honor and Integrity gets you killed! Only Money and Power can you truly become something in this World. I can tell you wanted to kill Santino for awhile now…you must have loath him for something and killing would've made you feel better, I done you a favor by killing him, now you can take his spot."

"You killed your idol for Power and Greed!"

Said Lex, immediately the man that were in charge were stunned, how did he know about his Ambitions and Goals?

Lex gets up from his chair and calmly walks towards the tense man, he smiles and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"You must have felt guilty or pleasure for Don Santino's death, let's take a walk, shall we, and I'll advice you about them." Said Lex, as he and the man takes a walk, the other gunmen were tense, mostly, because they sniff the Poison in the air.

"You know this place? It is familiar right, yeah…it's the place where you accidentally killed Santino's child, right here on this rooftop, you don't normally come here because of those painful memories of killing your idol's son."

"Also Santino's wife and you had an affair, she thought of it as a one night stand, but you thought of it as the beginning of something special, but her love for her son caused you to kill him, and in her grief, you thought you could manipulate her into falling in love with you."

The man's eyes widen, how does Lex knows these things, he immediately starts to have a guilty look on his face, Lex smiles at this and continue saying

"By killing Don Santino, you thought, you could've impressed her with your Power and Position, but you now have conflicting thoughts in yourself, doubting yourself, have you thought about, what she would think if she finds out you killed her beloved son?"

His eyes widen to in realization, he never truly thought about it, if she finds out, she would be disgusted by him, and hate him.

Tears starts to come out of the man's eyes, guilt and disgust about himself and why and for a ridiculous reason of killing, the woman's son, she loves, he wishes, he never committed that atrocity,

"Seeing yourself reflect, do you to tell her? Did you feel Powerful, when you killed her son. How does it make you feel when Don Santino's wife cried? How it's your fault he is dead! By lying, did you think your Sin will go away?"

The man's eyes are horrified, cold sweat is oozing from his face, his breathing is becoming more chaotic and hectic.

"Heavy Sun, can a man really make the woman he loves happy, when he killed her son out of Spite and Jealousy!"

Lex smiles, and pulls out his gun and says! "Now, the only way for her to forgive you is to kill yourself right here, right now!"

Said Lex, as he gives the gun to the man and walks away. Lex walks back inside the building and walks away, Lex sees numerous bodies all on the floor, Poison Ivy's Poison is truly terrifying.

As Lex walks away, he hears a gun sound on top of the roof making him smirk.
