Gunshots...screaming...

"It feels like the war again." Howard stood up in the midst of the battle massaging his neck back to place. He looked around to see German soldiers firing guns and women dressed in armor and on top of horses fighting back with swords, bows, and spears. The battle was obviously a little one-sided after all you don't bring swords to a gunfight but the women were holding out quite well.

Howard knew something was already wrong but he wasn't going to question it, after all, what was even the point. It's not like God was going to answer him now. Howard recognized the women's uniform and figured they were on the same side as the one who saved him so he decided to return the favor.

Howard casually walked in the midst of the battle as he grabbed the gun from a soldier who was pointing at a woman. The man screamed curses in german shooting at him, as Howard rolled his eyes pulling the gun out of the man's hand as he shoved it inside the shocked soldier's mouth firing it.

"Tell your people to back off." Howard looked at the woman who was staring at him with her eyes wide open, "Tell them so they won't die!"

The woman looking at his serious expression didn't know why she chose to believe him. As she hurriedly blew a whistle loud enough to hear through the battlefield. The battle wasn't calming down in any way but Howard could see some women retreating to the sidelines.

"Good enough, I guess." Howard shot a soldier down as he threw away the gun at another. One by one he alone started to massacre every soldier in his way. He pulled out a basic Infantry Fragmentation Hand Grenade from one of the soldier's belt as he kept getting shot at. Not waiting further he shoved the grenade inside the soldier's mouth, kicking him toward the soldier attacking behind the rocks.

The battle halted. The grenade was loud enough to gather attention but it was the screams that made the battle pause. All it remained on the battlefield were screams from the soldiers as they kept attacking a man who was all bloody. His guts were hanging out but he was still going on, twisting necks, snatching, and firing guns. And just killing everyone getting in his way.

"Devil!" The soldiers screamed as one by one they watched a man single-handedly kill them till no one was remaining.

The women looked at the man covered in blood from head to toe with their eyes wide open. No one knew what was going on or who the man was when suddenly a woman approached him.

"Diana!" One of them called out but the girl didn't stop.

"How are you still alive?"

Howard turned around recognizing the voice, as he already figured who it was. "Are you the one who saved me?"

"Yes, but you--"

"Diana, right? Can you do me a favor," Howard asked suddenly, "How far do you think you can throw me?"

"What do you mean?" Diana asked but seeing his serious face she asked again, "Where to?"

"At that U-boat, over there." Howard said, "You think you can do that?"

"How do you want me to do it?"

"Any way you like, don't worry I won't be harme-"

Before he could even complete the sentence, Diana grabbed him by his jacket and threw him to the boat, which was quite far away.

"Damn! That woman." Howard coughed crashing into the boat as his body stumbled around a few times like a bouncing rubber ball. The few remaining soldiers came rushing at him as Howard stood up, "Here we go again!"

The woman at the Island including Diana and the pilot looked over towards the boat as a few gunshots and screams followed and soon dead silence took over.

"Are all men like that?" Diana asked the pilot who still couldn't get over what he just saw. A man who should be dead just by the crash was not only alive but killed almost all the German soldiers in an instant attracting attention towards himself and preventing further casualties. But the fact still remained that he was shot multiple times and there he was in the boat, which was moving towards them.

Howard threw the anchor down as he jumped out the boat into the water, washing himself up. He swam back to the Island where several women were waiting for him with their bows ready as the other man was already captured and on the ground.

"And here I thought I would be treated as a hero." Howard chuckled casually pouring water out of his boots.

"You bought those men here and you want to be treated as a hero?"

"Of course, because I saved you all from getting penetrated with bullets." Howard said with a straight face looking back at the woman who questioned him, "As for those soldiers, you can ask him."

The people looked at the man on his knees.

"It doesn't matter." The woman said once again, "You're still an uninvited guest, so surrender till we know your motives."

Howard thought for a while as he looked at his plane which was in no condition to fly anymore as he nodded, "Fine, I'll play along for now."

-Present time-

"No, I just feel like I am in the wrong movie."

"What are you talking about?" The man asked as the women finally withdrew their weapons tying him up in a golden bright lasso as Howard was left alone for now.

"Who are you?" The woman who was the queen of the place asked.

"My, uh, name is Captain Steve Trevor, pilot, American Expeditionary Forces. Serial number 8141921. That's all I'm at liberty to say-" Steve struggled as the woman holding the lasso nudged him, "Assigned to British Intelligence. What the hell is this thing?"

The queen ignored his questions as she looked at Howard asking the same questions.

"Is it something like a truth serum?" Howard asked, "Aren't you going to use it on me as well?"

"Do I need to?" The queen said, "With some of my soldiers vouching for you as you saved them, I have decided to not treat you like a prisoner for now."

"Howard Smith, a businessman," Howard said as Steve coughed.

"I knew that I had seen that model and you before but to think you're that guy," Steve said with his eyes wide open, "Unbelievable."

"And who is he?" The queen asked Steve, "Do you know him?"

"He's the richest man in the world." Steve said without hesitation not sure if it was under the influence of the lasso or he just wanted to distract himself away from the terrifying women, "Also known as the 'Merchant of the Death'. Everyone, including the allies and the central power, knows about him as he's probably the most famous one around due to the war."

"There are still people richer than me." Howard shrugged under the gazes, "I'll explain myself after you're done questioning him."

A/N:

The whistle thing is something I made up, figured if they are an army they will have a signal to use when they need to retreat.
