Apocalypse

As the woman who introduced herself as Ororo Munroe, begins to explain the Apocalypses plans and who all they have working with them. Unwilling to allow his good friend to go down this path, Charles gathers his students together to get them ready to potentially save the world.

"I'm not so sure Charles that this is the correct decision to make. They may have their powers but they are still kids." Logan

"Kids with extra-ordinary abilities. Plus with the help of Ororo and Shen here we should be able to easily do this. First things first however, Hank help me to Cerebro so we can find their exact location." Charles

Using Cerebro to try and get a read on Apocalypses location, Charles alerts his fellow mutants of his location. Before Charles can leave Cerebero, Apocalypse pulls him into a telepathic fight. After a long telepathic battle with the support of Jean Gray, Charles was able to barely pull through and escape without too badly a injury.

Unwilling to allow that telepathic fight to hamper their fight the team begins to board the x-jet when a alarm goes alerting them of someone arriving on the premise

Rushing to the entrance Shen is met with the familiar face of Peter Maximoff.

"Peter its good to see you, we need your help" Shen

"Funny you should say that I could use yours" Peter

Joining up with the rest of the x-men, Peter explains that he saw Erik on tv and that he believes Erik may be his father.

Loading up into the x-jet the group head towards Cairo, Shen pull Ororo to the side.

"Did you feel that weird spark when our eyes locked earlier?" Shen

"I'm not sure truthfully. I felt a strange connection with you like a part of me has known you my whole life." Ororo

" I am the same. Once this is over let talk more on this, it may just be that feeling talking, but I would like to get to know more about you." Shen

"I think I would like that. I feel like I can truly be myself around you" Ororo

As the two were talking away about themselves the adults of the group grew happy. Even though Shen was a nice child, he was always slightly reclusive. When asked as to why he did not play with the other children his reply was always about some force urging him to get stronger. So him actively and happily talking to another person of his age brought a smile on their faces, especially one 'uncle Logan' even though he would deny it vehemently. As much as Logan would like to deny it over the years he has slowly grown very attached to the boy.

As the x-jet flies into view of their destination, a metal blade cuts the jet in half. Scooping up Ororo and Jean, Shen uses his air bending to soften their landing.

With a bamf sound a shocked Kurt appears next to them with Scott, Alex, Peter and Charles in tow. Seeing Hank and Logan plummeting out of the sky, Shen air bends a tornado to cushion the two to a safe landing. With no one harmed, minus a immobile Charles, they prepare for battle.

"Have you come to stop me from helping Apocalypse Charles?" Erik says sending out a wave of metal towards the group.

Using their powers, Alex and Scott blast the metal out of the the air.

"Shen, Ororo, Jean and Kurt go attempt to stop Apocalypse. Peter, Logan and Hank give them cover from his 2 guardians" Charles orders before a portal appears behind him

Without enough time to react a hand appears from the portal dragging Charles through it closing up with Peter almost making it in time.

"Everyone follow the plan. Its safe to assume we know who took him, so we just need to get in there and get him back" Hank

With Logan and Hank taking care of Psyloche and Jean and Kurt taking care of Angel, Ororo and Shen ran towards the pyramid where their confrontation with Apocalypse will begin.

Walking into the pyramid they find Charles laying down on a high-tech looking table with Apocalypse laying down on another one not far from him. Grabbing Charles, Shen yells for Kurt who bamfs to their location and takes Charles to safety before returning to support Jean in her fight with Angel. As Kurt bamfs away, Apocalypse begins to wake up.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE" Apocalypse yells dashing towards the duo.

With Ororo taking to the skies and Shen air dashing out of the way the 3 take their battle outside the pyramid. Using his earth bending and fire bending to send attacks while Ororo sends lightning strikes at him aswell.

"YOU PESTS. I WILL KILL EVERYONE YOU KNOW AND LOVE FIRST IN MY CONQUEST" Apocalypse says as he begins to float off the ground throwing rubble at the two.

Not willing to even push his luck Shen begins to use his air bending to create a small tornado pullin in the rubble around Apocalypse. Noticing what Shen was doing, Ororo begins boosting his attack transforming it into a contained, compressed F-5 tornado. As Ororo adds lightning strike after lightning strike. As the damage from the tornado slowly chips away, Apocalypse suddenly falters in his defense. Taking advantage of his falter, Shen earth bends multiple earthen spikes launching them at him skewering Apocalypse.

Ending their assault the x-men all regroup in front of a barely alive Apocalypse. The groups took out their enemies rather early on in the fight but with the combination of Ororo and Shen's powers the fight was more than they could handle. Before Apocalypse can get out another word Logan steps in and cuts his head off shocking everyone present.

"Wasn't risking it. With everything we've seen who knows what he could have done" Logan

Agreeing with his logic, Charles calls in a favor to bring everyone home.
