"Alex, don't you dare shed a tear, i will return but promise me you would always be by my side even if i may not be able to see you"' i said weakly, trying to capture his face with my right hand when he caught it and said sobbingly "i promise you i would always be by your side, no matter how far you might be in your next life" he said as i gave up the ghost. Alex, a supernatural being of great cold aura, supreme power, has pledged to become her guardian angel in the next life to pay her back, as she had sacrificed her life for him when he was powerless, without knowing that she even loved him. Little did he know that he had also developed feelings for her as well, but was still yet to recognize the feeling as the so called love. CHAPTER 3: HIS SEARCH FOR A WIFE

"She also bore the name, Leah?" I thought to myself.

"My lord" I heard her call out, "My lord, don't you dare shed a tear, I will return but promise me you'll always be by my side even if I may not be able to see you" she said breathlessly. She then tried to caress his face with her blood stained palm, but before she could, he caught it and replied her sobbingly "I promise you I would always be by your side, no matter how far you might be in your next life", just then her hand fell freely to the ground as she gave up the ghost.

I thought the dream was strange but decided not to worry much about it as I started paying attention to Mr Damien the chemistry teacher, as he was the master of cold calling. So if you didn't wanna get disgraced in class, you had better pay attention.

The class ended, marking the close of school for that day. Sarah and I walked home together while talking about the latest news of famous artistes and so on when she got a notification from one of the best platforms for hot trending topics.

Just then I heard her scream which scared the crap out of me, I was almost about to take to my heels as she shoved her phone in my face jumping up and down smiling and signaling me to read it, "Would you calm down! , people might think that you are sick in the head or something" I said to her with an upset tone , "Yeah, I am sick in the head, I got sick in the head by the hot viral news I just received, So read up" she said grinning from ear to ear.

I looked at her for a while suspiciously before reading out the article that was held before me.

"New York's richest and most handsome billionaire, CEO of Kendrich conglomerates, Alexander Kendrich has made known his search for a wife in a press conference as he talked about making that lucky lady out there, the owner of half of his assets worth billions of dollars stating that he is hosting a party in hopes that his search finally comes to an end .....", there was more to read but I had to stop there as I didn't know why Sarah was showing me this.

I looked up to sarah who was still grinning super hard before I spoke, "And so, what's the big deal about this", "Besides who the hell is Alexander Kendrich? , I have never heard about him before". Just as I finished speaking, the smile on sarah's face evaporated as she dropped her mouth open looking so dumbfounded, she gradually dropped her hand as she began "you mean you've never heard of 'the Alexander Kendrich , all girls dream man', girl are you living under a rock, He is even more popular than most artistes " she said venting out her frustration.

"Whoever he is, he sounds like a spoilt king of some non-existing kingdom. I mean we are literally in the 21st century, it sounds antique to call for a mass gathering of females to choose one as a bride, it just looks stupid to me and calling him 'the most handsome' and I quote, is really absurd. I believe that the most handsome has not yet been born as we see different shades of beauty every now and then", I replied as she shook her head from side to side before she started looking up something on her phone of which i wasn't sure what it was.

She then said these words, nodding her head as she brought into view the picture of the most handsome man I had ever seen, he could literally be compared to a god , "I would have to disagree with you on that one you see Leah, 'cause I really think the most handsome has already been born".
