Firstofall, i am really fond of historical chinese dramas so your novel definitely lies amongst my favourites. Secondly, i really liked the plots, storyline and the characters. Such a powerful storyline with interesting plots that will keep you hooked and makes you crave for what will happen next!😍😍😍😍😍 It’s definitely a good read and worth your time🤍 Lastly, best wishes my dear author🙌❤️

A romance drama that is almost historical. The world looks like ancient China, in my mind at least. the mention of palanquin instead of the general word carriage made me feel the effort given by the author in writing the novel, enough effort to actually research, and to actually visualize the world first before writing them down. this is my first time to review a WSA entry and I am so excited for this novel, I feel that it has a chance to win the grand finals. I love the intricate details about the plot. and I love the title that seems like a misnomer once you start reading further chapters. I have said far too many now, but in simpler terms, this novel is something I'll definitely watch out for.

I liked the story plot of the first chapter very much. It has a traditional start like chinese novels or korean novels. Since it's royal romance, I think the plot so far is good. Although it's a bit cliche, it's still bearable and interesting. The vocabulary is good. Only the one thing which concerns me that it would've been better if the beginning sequence started with a scene with the princess crying all alone, then wiping her tears when the servants came, looking all tough from the outside...like she's not scared or heartbroken with the king decision, then the info about empires in between could be better. Obviously, it started getting interesting after a few paras, but the thing is new readers have no patience to understand the whole story. they only the care about the start if they're new to this story. so, the first few paras could've been show and not tell (info) so that those scenes can attract reader's attention at the start only thumbsup. only that, I'm concerned of. The rest is very well portrayed, I'm not qualified enough to tell you what to write and what not to write or what is right and what is wrong. This is just a suggestion from my side. it's up to you, if you wanna change or think it's okay to be that way.

I am glad that I picked up this story. Historical fiction has always been my favourite genre and this book appears to be one of the hidden gems. The writing style and world design itself is shows the capability of the author. I am fan of strong badass FL. Okay, so I like this book a lot. The characters are all written beautifully. The plot is also heading in a good direction. The effort of the author is visible. Though some fault is inevitable, then again, the author is only human as well.

Three chapters in, time for a review. First of all, I’m extremely excited to continue reading Yenay and Han Sheng Li’s blooming relationship. The chapters are highly intriguing, and I must say, Sheng Li has a memorable personality. This novel is a must-read and I highly recommended, albeit there are currently 3 chapters here! - mari <3

“Cruel people are not worthy of anyone’s kindness.” <-- this! Said by a true boss bitch! I got high expectations for this work, hopefully to see it within top 100 rankings! Go for it author! I actually wanted to make this a punny and funny review but after seeing that line, I just wanna ay "FUKK EM ALL UP GURL!" For everyone else wondering wtf is this review, it's a fair trade business review swap. I certainly did not bribe the author for it! Trust me, I'm an attention seeker and an issue maker. Ta-ta!

Reading the synopsis I instantly got hooked on the story. It is well written and will intrigue your curiosity. I really like the characteristics of each character as well. I hope this book will earn a lot in the future. Even though this has less than 5 chapters I can say that this story is really good and is worth it to try. Hoping for more chapters author!!!
