Care for lunch

"I'm really sorry ,my boss needs me right now"

"Really ?,but today is your resting day"Suzzy said with her arms crossed.

"Yeah , let's go"

They moved out of the mall ,with sad faces on they both sigh uncontrollably

-----------One hour later--------

Avery arrived at the company with a sad facial expression , entered the private elevator ,which was only for Alex and his secretary,she brought out her phone and message Alex about her arrival

Alex in his office with Samuel received the message sent by Avery .

"Was that beautiful ,did she message you?"Samuel asked

"Her name is not beautiful,Avery. her name is Avery not beautiful get that in your head!"Alex said with a dark expression on

Samuel raised his hands surrendering and stood up to the mini bar near the corner and poured himself with some whisky .

Within some minutes a knock was heard on Alex's door.

"Come in!"he said fixing his suit.

Samuel shook his head looking at Alex unusual behavior.

Avery came in with some folders in her hand

"Good afternoon sir!"she said in a low tone.

Alex expression changed drastically.He hummed and looked at her.

Avery came forward and placed them on his desk .

About to leave the place she spotted Samuel at the mini bar.

"Hi!"She smiled

Alex raised his eyebrow at the sudden change of her emotions

"Avery ,come forward and spot out the work "Alex said sternly

Avery rolled her eyes before moving forward

She pointed out the finished documents,Avery was closer to his so Alex could inhale her feminine perfume.He inhale deeply into his lungs before releasing it ,Avery raised her head and found Alex staring at her ,they stared at each other until Samuel faked a cough and they both snapped out of Fantasyland.

"Umm , That's it Alex ,I mean boss,anything else?"she asked

"Nothing else"

Avery nodded her head and looked at Alex with a confused look.

"What?"Alex asked

"Why did you call me at the first place?"she asked

Alex cleared his throat and changed his sitting position to a comfortable one

"Yeah !Alex why did you call her?"Samuel said in a teasing voice

Alex flared at him , warning him to keep quiet .

"Um ,um, I called you here for you to show me the files of the finished project in Brazil."he stammered

"That's not my job ,plus I don't have have those files and you know that ,so tell me the truth"

Alex was caught in his own trap , he was totally confuse on why when it came to Avery he was always tongue-tied.

Alex looked at her with a poker face on and thought of a reasonable answer

"I know those files are not with ,but it's been a long time Dave talked about it ,I mean the project and I thought he told you about it ,all details concerning it."He lied

"l don't believe you"Avery said

Samuel chuckled at what was displayed in front of him,he placed his whisky glass down and stood beside Avery.

"Care for lunch ,my treat?"he offered

Avery was about to decline when Samuel said

"Don't forget you own me lunch ,why don't we go now?
