Tier 2: Eavesdropping (LV1) -> (LV4) This month I have gained 2000 exp. I have been releasing all my mana every night confirming this raised my magic. I have also had slight gains in my stats with my mind receiving the largest increase. I'm sure it's leagues above every other baby but it is just so boring.

I have figured out a good amount of words my family is speaking. I have learned my Mothers name is Kaylessa. My Father is Miadithis, and finally, my older Brother is Genghis.

I'm not sure about the ages yet but I'm gaining vocabulary by the day. Thanks to my (Eidetic Memory) I haven't forgotten anything I learned in my past life. And am quickly learning as well as adjusting to this one.

I have planned to show my intelligence around the age of 1. Although I realize this is ridiculous on Earth. I'm not sure I can hold still and waste time doing nothing when I've been given a second chance.

Maybe this is the wrong thinking. Should I maximize my baby time, after all, I won't be able to be a baby again right? Well….

Nahhh. I'm training to gain power and wealth in his life. At the bare minimum, I have to grind out some skills in these years of free time. Maybe I should work on more rare skills like (Detect Lies) or (Inspect). Maybe all get a unique tier 5 and be overpowered!

Finishing his thoughts Calais quickly fell to slumber. And was awakened the next morning with the same routine his family seemed to have always had.

Kaylessa would make breakfast before taking care of the house. Miadithis would sit and have breakfast with everyone then head out for work. While Genghis would do whatever he wanted. Typically he was usually just focused on his toys. Playing in the training room, or visiting his friend Vinny.

But this morning was different. Having finished his food quickly Genghis went to play with his toys in the garden.

"Genghis would you like to go to the park today?" Kaylessa asked.

"Yes! I would love to." Genghis said excitedly.

"Alright, go ask the Longos if they would like to join us."

"Okay!" Saying this Genghis disappeared from the spot he was standing. Leaving a slight purple distortion

What the fuck? Did Genghis just disappear? Calais thought looking at Kaylessa. She didn't even flinch in reaction to the disappearance.

Is this commonplace? What was that invisibility? Teleport? Blink? God answers my questions woman!

"WAH Wah WAH!" Calais whined frustrated.

"Oh ho ho, did that startle you little Calais?"

"Don't worry he will be right back he just used his active ability (Teleport). You get your own as soon as you formulate a strong enough wish in that little head of yours." Kaylessa said reassuringly.

Hmmm, I guess I will be able to tell when Genghis gets back. Based on how quickly he returns. I know the Longos are our neighbors and it shouldn't take long to get to their house even if he did teleport.

Hmmm, there was also purple distortion in the palace he disappeared briefly. This is a cliche tell for when a person teleports, it has to be what that world was. But that brings me to the rest of what she said. " He used his active ability teleport." You get your own as soon as you ******* a strong enough wish."

There are a few things I can think of. That word has to be 'create' or 'make', something along those lines.

So I get my own active ability as long as I make a wish? If that's true what are the limitations? What should I wish for? Surely this is what mana and the magic stat are for. Following that you would want an ability that isn't so mana intensive that you never get to use it. But you also want something strong and useful. Hmmm, these active abilities are very interesting. It implies that all other skills are passives. Upon thinking about I do only have passive skills.

I don't want to wish for a time ability, they strike me as maa intensive, maybe like a save point ability? Nah, it's a possibility but id rather not go insane like some of the time loop protagonists. Maybe one for all, or better yet all for one, Hmmm top of the list for now.

Hmm, let me think out of all the anime and novels who had the best ability and the most suited for me? Death note, Gura Gura no mi, Infinity, I always thought overhaul was really cool. Should I transform into a titan, hmmm gates of Babylon, maybe just be like superman? But what if I'm not able to wish for passive would it be like toggling the abilities of superman at the cost of mana?

Man, this is a lot of pressure. What do I want to do, what do I want to define myself, I obviously want something that scales, should I wait? I just have to be careful with my thoughts and I should be able to delay. But what if there is a time limit? Mother said I should get mine soon.

MAN, I'M GOING CRAZY! Fuck it, I wish to be able to steal abilities from people, give abilities to people, and use multiple abilities!

Active Ability Unlocked! - [What's Yours Is Mine, What's Mine Is Yours] - At the cost of mana once per day either take an ability or give one. Can only hold a maximum of 5 abilities and each ability held increases the mana cost and time limit on abilities next use by double. Have to touch the target for ten seconds to give/take active and know the name of the active.

Hmm, yea that'll do.

In the time Calais took to acquire an active ability. Genghis had long returned, he and Kaylessa were now getting things ready for the park.

Kaylessa had Genghis go get changed and she went to tidy up the place briefly. Before starting to prepare a lunch to eat at the park. During this time Calais was still reveling in his newfound ability. Until he came to the realization it cost mana.

Wait double the mana cost and time limit for each ability held? What does the base ability cost? Oh, no have I messed up? Mana is magic stat times ten. Clarity doesn't matter to me, ah but what about when I get abilities, they obviously will use mana. So I need to be very smart about my stat points, but I already knew that my most important stats are

1 - Magic

2 - Clarity

3 - Mind

4 - Vitality

If I want to maximize what I can do these are the core of my build. Now I just need to continue training skills. Figure out how to level skills past 10, find out what abilities to steal, and improve my level.
