Chapter 8 "Can I please come with you?"

Isla was sitting in front of the OT. The lights were green. After waiting for God knows how long, she saw the lights turning of. A handsome doctor came out in his scrubs. "He is fine now. No need to worry." is all that he said with a smile before leaving.

Earlier, when ambulance came, some black cars also followed it. Isla saw the men coming out of the cars were conserned about the men lying on her lap. The ambulance came with a doctor and some other staff, who were taking care of the man. Suddenly a man who seemed to be the head of the group came forward and offers his hand to help her up.

Isla's legs were numb. The giant man lying down his heavy head on her lap for almost twenty minutes caused the blood flow to stop to her foot. It felt as if hundreds of small ants were biting her foot. "Ahhh....." she made sound while getting up. "Thank you " she said in low voice.

" Miss, I should thank you for saving the life of our boss. You risked your own life for saving him. You will be rewarded handsomely for this deed." said Jack Root to Isla.

Earlier through security check Jack came to know about the danger to Daniel's life. Where ever Daniel went,a security drone would follow him from high up to keep a check. But today, somehow, their security system got hacked for 10 seconds, which was very long. The entire security office got alarmed. There was a state of panic amongst the staff. But they retrieved the system within next 10 seconds.

But the damage was done. They lost the track of the drone as well as their boss Daniel.

Later, The security system automatically started to search the highway cameras to find the scene of damaged car stuck to the pole and a girl helping there boss out of the car and hiding him behind the bushes. A team of bodyguards and Jack himself dispatched to the site.

" Miss , are you hurt anywhere?" asked Jack

"No, I am fine sir. But I want to know about the Mr. who is injured. He will live ,right?" the stains of tears could be clearly seen on her face. She looked like a baby who is very scared loose someone close to him. Jack gave an asured smile to her "He will definitely live. He had been through a lot worse then this." And was ready to leave , following the ambulance but suddenly Isla tugged his sleeve. " Can I please come with you" she said with teary eyes. And Jack could not do anything but accept her request.

When they arrived at the 'FIRST PEOPLE'S HOSPITAL ' Samuel was already standing at the gate of the building to attend his most VIP patient who was also his best friend .He saw the person lying down on the strecher and ordered the staff to prepare for the surgery.

When he was about to turn around into the building, Samuel saw a very beautiful yet tiny girl covered with stains of blood on her body. He frowned, and instructed his junior to attend her.
