Chapter 7. The man lying down in her lap..........

She remembered how the driver of the car was speeding towards her. But somehow this man changed the direction of the car. After pulling the man in the back seat out of the car, she went towards the driver. She saw he was badly disfigured. His body was stuck in between the pole and his seat . Isla did not know what to do.

From a distance Isla saw some cars coming in there direction. She wanted to take help from them. Daniel was lying down in the ground motionless. When he saw cars coming from a distance, He hurriedly tried to send the girl away. Earlier when he was still in the car he saw these cars secretly following his car from a distance. But he had bigger issues to handle. He wanted to know that why his personal driver betrayed him. By talking to him he found out he was under the influence of heavy drug dose. He had to save his life. He could not die so easily. Then he saw a girl crossing the road from far. When she saw their car speeding in her direction she froze in her place.

This girl looked so innocent and nieve to him. He would never want her to be in danger because of him.

"Those people....won't help . Quickly.... leave this place. They are.. after me. You need ...to save ...your self.Go away...run..."

But Isla didn't budge. She wanted to help him. She saw him saving her earlier. She wanted to return the favour. She quickly tried to help him up. He was too heavy for her. She looked very small with him. " I will save you. Let's just hide behind those bushes ." she said pointing towards the bushes at the side of the highway.

Daniel's eyes were half closed. He was nearly unconscious. But some how Isla dragged his large body behind the bushes.

Several well built men with guns pointing towards the damaged car were seen. Isla was panicking. She, never in her life, witnessed this kind of scene. Then she saw a large man stepping forward and said something in his wireless headphones. And then commanded his men to retreat. Before they left, they set the car in the fire with the body of the driver.

Isla was stunned. She could some what makeout what kind of people they were. They looked like professional killers appointed by someone to kill the man by her side. She looked down .The man was lying his head down on her lap. He had lost his consciousness. His breathing was very light. He was loosing blood profusely from his injuries. Isla immediately called the ambulance and tried to wake the man up. " Hey! please wake up . You will be fine. Please be with me. The ambulance is coming. Please wake up....." she was sobbing.
