Chapter 9 "Finally I found you....."

After the doctor left Isla didn't know what to do. She was sitting outside the OT when Denial was shifted to special VIP ward. These VIP wards were specifically made for top notch people of the country who needed high security and confidentiality. Those included elite of elites, and important personalities like president of the country, the General, and people related to security of the country. Isla was sitting outside the ward for a very long time. There were gaurds everywhere.

After about One hour, an elderly man of about 80 years and with him a middle aged man in his fifties came. Jack was with them . He took them inside the room where Daniel was there.

Three of them came out in about ten minutes. Jack came towards Isla and introduced her to them. " Sir, she is the girl who saved young master ." He said to them.

"Young lady, what's your name?" the old man asked to her in stern voice.

"Isla Jones, sir." she said nervously.

The old man raised his brows hearing the name.

"Can I take a look to the pendent on your neck ?" he asked again but in a little softer tone.

She looked in his eyes little hesitant but she still went forward unhooked the pendent from her neck and gave it to him.

"How did you get this pendent?" asked the old man again. The old man looked little old but his back was straight . Still he was holding a stick in left hand and the pendent in the right one. He had no extra fat in his body. He looked like someone with excellent physic in his young days.

"Sir, this was given by my maternal grandfather before he died." Isla said looking into his eyes.

"What was the name of your grandfather?" he asked in a little high tone as if he was trying to hide some kind of emotions. His voice still sounded little shaky.

" Sir, his name was Christopher Harris." said Isla.

The old man's eyes where brimmed with tears. His son , William Lee , who was standing beside him could not believe his eyes. To him his father was someone who would never cry no matter what. Just now he didn't even blinked his eyes on seeing his grandson lying unconscious in the hospital bed with oxygen mask, machines and drips.

" Finally I found you ." said the old man holding hands of Isla.
