Chapter 41. Punishment....

Meanwhile, Isla was not able to sleep at all. It was as if her sleep was all snatched away by Daniel. His words were ringing again and again in her mind. She was nervous but she knew that he was her husband. If he demanded sex from her, she will have to give it to him.

She was not against it. It was just that she was scared of what would happen in future. What if he gets boarded of her and divorce her. It was one of his conditions that he would divorce her anytime if he wanted to. And only he would have a final say in it and nobody else.

What if he leaves her in her vulnerability. She was scared to give her heart and body to him.

Since she was not able to sleep, she decided to look around in his office. Afterall she was his wife . She has full right to know everything about him.

Daniel came back to his office.It was nearly 5 in the afternoon. He was curious to know that what was Isla doing now.

The first thing he saw when he came in was, Isla spinning in his chair and gigging like a kid. He could not believe that a twenty one year old woman can act so childishly. Not that he was angry or something. But on the contrary, he had a very warm feeling inside him. He was staring at her with a very indulging smile on his face. He couldn't describe the feelings inside him at this point of time.

After sometime, Isla saw him standing at the door, leaning on the wall beside it.

Her mind exploded. She quickly jumped from the chair and stood beside the table with her head hung low and hands in front clasped together as if waiting to get punished by her father. She had no excuse for her childishness.

Putting his hands in his pocket, Daniel came towards her. He was captivated by her beauty.

"What were you doing?" He said in a very serious tone.He wanted to play prank on her and see her reaction.

"No.... Nothing." she stammered.

"But i saw you playing around in my office." he said plainly.

"I...I didn't....I am sorry.." she said in shaky voice.

"Umm....So what should be your punishment?" As he said , his gaze travelled to the mark on her neck. It was his craft and he was proud of it.

Isla realised where he was looking. She didn't know about her hickey. And subconsciously put her hand on her neck. She felt light pain in that place. She remembered he bit her in that place earlier. She shivered remembering it.

He won't bite her again ,right?

"I won't bite you this time. It should be something different. Right?" He said seductively pacing nearer to her.

Isla was staring at him with her wide eyes. "What..."

Daniel bent down to her height and pointed at his lips. "Kiss me." he said.

Isla's face frowned in an instance. She had some idea that he was playing with her. But she was still not sure.

"What kind of punishment is this" she grumbled. Her lips were pouting.

Daniel was tempted to bite them. This little seductress of his had no idea that she was making him insane.

"Then what kind of punishment do you want? Shall I spank your butt?" he said with a raised brow and had a smirk on his lips.

He pulled her closure to him taking advantage of her daze. He was firmly gripping her waist in one arm while the other one.....

'Smak....'

"Like this? Is this punishment good enough for you?" He whispered in her ears. His hand still groping and caressing her butt cheak.

Isla's entire body shivered. She knew that spank had some other meaning to it. But her grumpy nature didn't allow her to think anything else but get angery at him.

"You....you hit me again?" She angryly punched his chest.

For Daniel, it was like a feather hitting on him. He chuckled at her behaviour and hugged her tightly, hiding his face in her hair and neck.

"You are making me crazy." he groaned.

He lifted her gripping her hips and her waist.

Due to sudden change in gravity, Isla clung onto him like a koala.

Daniel chuckled and made his way towards his big chair. He then gently placed Isla on it and squated down to her eye level.

"You are my wife. The lady boss of this entire empire. You have full right on this chair. In future never act as if you were caught red handed. Understand?" He gently caressed her hair and smiled at her.

Isla was in daze. She was never treated like this. He was truly treating her like a queen. She was scared. What if she fall deep for him and then he divorce her in future?. How devastating it would be.

"Why? Why are you so good to me?" She asked. She could not hold back her curiosity.

"Because you are my wife and you deserve it. You deserve to be my Queen. And, I am your king."

He said the last sentence very seductively in a whisper near her ear.

Isla had a tingling sensation in her lower abdomen.

She didn't know what to say and what to do.

"Today I will take you out. Tell me, where do you want to go?" He said holding her hands.

"I don't know." she said. She actually didn't know what to suggest.

"You don't want to go anywhere? how is it possible?"

"why is it not possible?"

"Because there should be some place you would want to go. Just think about it. I am giving you ten minutes."

Daniel was busy playing with her fingers. They were so delicate and soft as if with no bones. Her nails were not too big and sharp. They were cleanly trimmed. The natural pink color of her nails was looking so beautiful.

In his hand, her hand was looking so small and delicate.

Isla was feeling ticklish in her hand. Daniel was caressing every nook and corner of her hand. Her brain was not working to think, where she wanted to go.

"Meadow..... behind the mension. I.... I want to do horse ride." She said. And she really wanted to go there. She really loved nature. Especially mountains. Their weather, vegetation, animals , everything was so good about them. She was curious to see the mountain behind the mansion.
