Chapter 40 Come back early.....

"Now let's have lunch." Daniel stood up still holding Isla's waist in his arms and lead her to the couch.

"Hmm...". Isla was in her deep thoughts. She had mixed feelings inside her. One part of her heart wanted to just oblige and fall in the abyss. And the other part was resistent. She was having an internal fight with herself.

They both sat on the couch. Meanwhile, Daniel saw Isla in deep thoughts. He had a kind of idea what she was thinking. For him, reading her mind was as easy. Isla had those expressive eyes that could tell him every thing without even realising herself.

He brought a spoonful of fish soup to her mouth. "Open your mouth." He said.

Isla opend her mouth and gulped the soup.

"How is it?" He asked again.

Obviously, it was delightful. It was ordered from one of the most famous seven star restaurant in the city.

"It's tasty." She said nodding her head in appreciation.

"You should try it too." she added.

Without any hesitation Daniel fed on the same spoon which was used by Isla. Seeing this , Isla was amused and embarrassed. Though they kissed sometimes earlier. But this indirect kiss gave her some other type of assurance.

This was a sign that he was not disgusted by her. It felt like he was very close to her.

For Daniel, he was in love with Isla. Never in his life he thought that something like this would happen to him. When he was with his previous girlfriends, he could feel their pretence behind their innocence. He always kept his distance from them. But now even thinking about them made him feel disgusted.

But Isla was completely different. She was like an angel in his life. He was scared to show his dark side to her. He was always cautious around her so as to not scare her away. He wanted to pamper her. Make love to her. Have kids with her. And stay with her for rest of his life.

After having there lunch, Daniel had a meeting. So he asked Isla to have some rest in the lounging area inside his office.

When Isla entered the room, she was awestruck. She never thought that such big bedroom would be present inside his office.

"Isla, have some rest. I will be right back." he said.

"hm.." she replied.

"Um... Daniel..."

"Yes" He held her face in his palms.

"Come back early..." she said shyly. Her face was as red as tomato. She was looking everywhere but in his eyes. Actually she was not comfortable sleeping in his office all alone.

Daniel's heart was raceing a marathon. All the blood of his body was flowing in certain direction. Just one sentence from her, and his brain was messed up.

He took a step back, seductively bit his lip and stroke his hair with his hand. He was frustrated. It was really hard for him to control himself. He was dieing to do bad things to her.

He suddenly held her face again and kissed her hard on her lips.

"Mumph...." Isla was caught off-guard.

The kiss was so overbearing. She staggered back but was caught firmly by a strong musculine arm by her waist.

Daniel was kissing her with all his might. It was as if he wanted to say something to her through this kiss.

After who knows how long he released her from the wild kiss.

Isla was panting. Her face was red. She didn't know where to hide it. She was so shy.

Daniel leaned his head in her nape inhaling her sweet smell. The fire inside him was too strong. Daniel was trying hard to extinguish it.

"Isla, I really want you. I want to make love to you. I can't wait too long. " he said in his hoarse voice.

Daniel held her face in his palm and leaned his head to her's.

Isla didn't know how to handle this. She was already so overwhelmed with his kiss. And he again threw a bomb on her head. She knew she was his wife . And she has some duties as his wife that she had to do today or tomorrow. But she was not confident. All this was so new to her. She never had any lover in her life. But suddenly, now she has a husband. And that too as good as Daniel.

She admitted that he was caring and a little too good to her. He would always pay attention to her and fulfill everything that she wants and much more then that.

But then again, what would happen if some day she suddenly woke up from this dream? What would happen if suddenly one day he would leave her for good? Every body whom she loved left her. Her mom, her dad, her grandfather. And the rest of the family members were never this considerate to her.

"You don't have to stress so much. Just believe me. okay?" Daniel said caressing her head.

"Hmm.."

"Now go to bed and take a nape. I'll wake you up when I'll be back." He said.

"Hmm..." Isla then went near the bed a laid down. Daniel tucked her in cover and set the room temp for her. He then leaned and gently kissed her forehead and left for his meeting.

In the meeting room.

Daniel was sitting majestically on his chair. The meeting was with some government officials about the purchasing of a port. It was a very huge port which was prime for import and export in the country. The Lee group had many ports under them but if this one came under The Lee group, it would be a huge profit to them.

Everybody worked hard to get this port. Finally Daniel was successful in getting it under Lee group.

Ms. Rose, one of Danial's secretary, kept the contact in front of the govt officials to sign it.

Soon after the contract was signed by them the file was passed to Daniel, who sighed it with his confident handwriting. The port was sold to the Lee group for next two hundred years.

Daniel stood up, and shook hands with the officials after which they left.

"Take my card. Enjoy the dinner." Daniel extended his black dimond card to Jack and left the room.

"Ohh....myyy....goodddd...." Anne the youngest of the secretaries gasped covering her mouth with her palm. She was very happy that their boss was treating them dinner tonight.

Whenever, any big deal was sealed by Daniel under the Lee group, he would not forget to treat his subordinates. Specially his secretaries. They worked as hard as him. And he would always appreciate it.

All of them happily left the company as it was nearly the time to pack up.
