Chapter 42. Jasper and Julie ....

"You want to go there?"

"Yes."

"On the horse?"

"Yes."

"Do you know how to ride it?"

"Ye....No."

"Ohh.... So how are you planning to go?"

'Is he playing with me again?' she thought.

"Won't you teach me?" she asked.

"Why should I?" He smirked.

"You promised me earlier. You said you would take me there. And you dropped the plan the same day." She pouted.

"Hahaha.... Ofcourse I will take you but not today as by the time we reach home it will be dark and cold out there, and I don't want you to catch cold. We will go there tomorrow morning. Okay?"

"Hmm....". She mumbled.

"And yes, I promised you earlier ,and then I dropped the plan. Forgive me. I was busy with some deal in company. And today I finally buyed the dock. I will take you there also. We will go in my yacht to the sea as well. Is that alright with you?" He asked and kissed her knuckles lightly.

"Yes." She smiled. She was happy that he was treating her so well. She was as simple as that.

Daniel saw her. His little wife was so easy to please. He kissed her cheek. "What will I do with you!" he said as he lovingly kissed her other cheek.

"Today I will take you out for dinner. What do you want to have?" he asked as he stood up.

"You say." she said as she also stood up from the chair.

"Okay. I will take you somewhere." He said as he held her hand and took her out of the office.

When Jasper reached the first people's hospital, Julie was already standing at the gate waiting for him.

His black Mercedes Maybach was too shiny to be ignored. When Julie saw him coming out of the car ,she smiled. She ran towards him and jumped into his embrace.

It had been days they didn't meet. She was really missing him, so she decided to try her luck. She didn't want to disturb his work as she knew he was the right hand man of his brother in many legal and illegal work. They had many big companies in the Lee group that were handled by both the brothers.

Ever since Daniel took over the business, the power of Lee group grew exponentially. There were many shady tasks that were to be handled by Daniel to protect the company and the family.

Initially William helped Daniel to take care of them, but later he wanted to take retirement and relax at home with his wife.

So It became quite difficult for one person to keep check on every thing all by himself. It was then Daniel asked Jasper to join him.

"How have you been?" Jasper asked Julie who was still in his embrace.

"Good. And what about you?"

"I was missing you so much." He said as he kissed her forehead. "Let's go for the dinner." He held her hand and took her to his car.

"Let's go to my place. I will cook for you today as I called you." Julie said to him.

"Really? Aren't you tired?" he asked with concern.

"I am. But i want to cook for you. Let's go." she didn't give him a chance to speak and commanded him to drive.

" Honey, Are you sure?" He asked again.

"Yes I am." she said.

Julie had a apartment condominium for her self. She liked living on her own expenses. As soon as she came back to the country, she buyed herself a place near the first people's hospital to live.

Edwards had a large encestral mansion, but Julie prefered to live independently. She liked having her own personal space.

Ofcourse, Jasper was exception to this. She wanted to always stay near to him. She wanted to share everything with him. He was the only person she wanted to depend on after her brother.

After ten minutes of ride they reached her place.

The apartment was not too huge and not too small. As Jasper entered, sweet fruity and vanilla smell eloped him. It was so blissful.

The colors in the rooms were warm and soothing. The lights were also not too strong. Jasper was feeling as if he came back home. It was so relaxing for him.

While Jasper was busy looking around her house, Julie came out from shower. She was looking fresh. Her pale white skin was looking paler. Her hair were tied up with a towel on it and still she was looking flawless." You can get freshen up in the bathroom there. I will prepare dinner." She said as she pointed towards her room and went to kitchen to prepare dinner.

"Do you have anything I can change into?" he asked.

"Yes. Wait here. I think my brother kept some spare clothes for himself in the other room. I will bring it." She went to the room beside her's and came back holding a set of tshirt and trousers and handed over to him.

Jasper went into the room and Julie busied herself in the kitchen.

After about twenty minutes Jasper came out of the shower wearing the clothes provided by Julie which perfectly fitted him.

He went into the kitchen and asked, "Shall i help you baby?"

"No need. It's almost done. Wait in the dining table it will be right there in twenty minutes." she said as she pushed him out of the kitchen.

Jasper came out and settled in one of the two chairs in the small dining table from where Julie was visible . He was busy staring at her.

Julie came out of the kitchen bringing two dishes in her hands and placed them on the table. She again went in to bring plates and salad that she prepared.

She served one of the dishes to Jasper and asked him to start. She sat down and started having her dinner.

Julie was very perticular about food intake and health. She would always prefer eating home rather then eating out. She would make sure that the dishes that she prepares are healthy and nutritious.

Today also the dishes she prepared where were boiled vegetables soup, grilled chicken with some herbs, and a sprout salad.

"How is it?" she asked Jasper.

"Very nice." He was busy eating the sumptuous dinner so he kept his answer short.

Julie was happy to see that he was enjoying the food.

'It means he really liked it.' she thought.

After dinner Jasper helped Julie to clean the dishes in the kitchen. Julie went to her room to work on a thesis that she was writing.

Jasper cleaned the kitchen and sat in the living room to check his emails and work related stuff. He had a long conversation with some of the directors and his PA regarding some company related stuff.

It was 1:00 in the morning, when Jasper came into the room.

"At what time do you sleep?" He asked her with a frown.

"I will sleep now." She yawned. She was really tired.

Jasper came ahead and layed her down in the bed and covered her with sheets . He closed her laptop and kept it on the coffee table near the couch and switched off the lights of the room. He then himself went into the sheets and spooned her to sleep.
