Chapter 39. Am I nothing to you......

Daniel opened the door of his office and lead Isla inside holding her hand.

The airconditioner was already set and everything looked at its place and cleaned. As if somebody prepared for their arrival.

The office looked exactly the same design of his room. All boaring and dark colors along with white. The shelves, desk and coffee table in the middle of the room was black in colour. Whereas, the leather chairs and the leather couch were dark maroon. The walls were white and the curtains were grey in color.

The entire office reeked the smell of luxury and power.

Isla's eyes were dreamy. Daniel lead her to the couch and made her sit. He went near his desk took out his business suit's coat and hung it on the hanger beside his chair.

" Make yourself comfortable. Jack will bring a laptop for you. Help me review some data." He said while proceeding to sit on his chair.

Isla nodded her head. Actually, Isla didn't know how to talk to him. She didn't even know how to call him. Last time he smacked her butt when she called1 him Mr. Lee. Now she didn't know what to say. She was not so close to him to give him some nick names or call him sweetly like honey, sweety ,hubby, or something. She was so intimidated that she could not even call his name. So she just chose to be quite.

After sometime Jack came with a laptop and some files. He placed them on the coffee table in front of Isla. "Madam, these are the data of the expensces and profit of our five star hotel in the east city. Recently, the data mentioned in the record and the actual data did not match." He said while showing her data records in the laptop.

"Okk. I will recalculate it and see where is the problem." she said. She looked at Daniel who was already busy in his work.

Jack left them in the office and closed the door behind him.

Jasper was sitting in his office and reviewing some files placed on his table. Suddenly his phone vibrated. It was a message from Julie. 'Jasper, are you free today?'

'Yes. I am.' he replied.

'Can we meet for dinner today?' She messaged.

'Sure. I will pick yOu up.' He said. A dotting smile was lingering around his lips without his permission.

'Okay. I have a surgery now. Meet you in the evening, 7:00 .' She said and went offline.

At one in the afternoon, Isla was still busy with the work. Daniel saw the time and approached her.

"Isla, what would you have for lunch?" He said as he sat beside her in the couch. He then, placed one of his hand on her waist.

Isla jolted. She was so busy in the work that she didn't pay attention to what Danial said.

"Sorry, I didn't hear." she said softly looking at him.

"I asked, What about lunch?" he said.

"Ohh..." She was in daze. Daniel's closeness was always overwhelming for her. She was starting at his eyes as if, searching for something.

"Am I that handsome?" Daniel teased her. He gently patted her back.

"Yess....." She said in her stupor. She realised what she said and hurriedly turned her face to another direction.

A very deep laughter resonated in the office for the first time. Daniel wanted to tease her more but he stoped himself and stood up.

He went near his table and called for Jack.

After sometime Jack entered.

"Tell him what you would have for lunch." Daniel said to Isla.

"Maybe, some vegetables and salad." She said.

"Bring fish soup along with it." said Daniel towards Jack.

" Yes boss."Jack bowed and left the room.

"Umm...I am almost done with the data. Will you have a look?" Isla asked.

Daniel was sitting in his chair. He glanced at her and said, "bring it here."

Isla took all the files and the laptop to his table and placed them in front of him.

Daniel was staring at her without any expression.

Isla started to feel nervous under his gaze. But this time she didn't avert her eyes from him.

Knock...Knock....

Jack entered the room carrying their lunch.

"Place it in the coffee table And leave. Don't let anyone enter the room unless it's emergency." He said to Jack.

Jack was not nieve. He understood that boss didn't want any kind of disturbance when he was with his wife. He bowed and left the room closing the door behind him.

Daniel pressed a button on his table and door automatically got locked with a click sound.

"Come here." he called her doing action with his fingers.

Isla went near him. She was still standing at a distance of one metre from him.

Daniel frowned. "Closer."

Isla took a step and went nearer. Suddenly, Daniel pulled her into his lap and held her tightly from her waist.

Isla gasped when she landed on his lap with her butt. She tried to get up but couldn't. "Umm....ca...can you please release me. This is your office. Someone may enter." She was flustered.

"What did you call me?" He asked ignoring her request. His face was in her nape. He was sniffing her as if he was ready to devour a delight.

He then kissed that place gently first. After kissing it for sometime he started to suck it.

"No...nothing" Isla bit her lip to control herself. This feeling was very different. It was not only tickling but was make her limbs weak. His subtle was pricking her and his soft hair lightly brushing on her shoulder.

But then he suddenly bit her hard.

"Ahhh... " she moaned. "It hurts...." she said in a crying tone.

"It does.. I know." He said as he again kissed that place as if soothing the pain.

"Am I nothing to you? I know you were forced into this marriage ,but Isla, don't you think you should now accept this marriage?" he said looking into her eyes.

"Say my name Isla." he commanded as he kissed her shoulder. He held her face and raised his brows in anticipation.

"Say it baby. I am waiting." he added.

"Daniel" She murmured.

"louder Isla. Do you want me to hold you like this for the rest of the day?" He said.

"Daniel" She said and this time Little louder.

His name from her mouth was sounded like a sweet melody to him. He smiled lovingly at her and kissed her forehead. "That's like my girl."

Isla smiled shyly at him. She was slowly falling for him. The way he cared and indulged into their relationship was making her fall deep for him. Even she wanted to be close to him. He was attracting her like a black hole sucks everything inside it.

But this feeling was very new to her. She did not know what will happen in future. She just wanted to stay with him forever. But at the same time, wanted to run away before she was helpless.

Daniel sometimes seemed like gaurdian angel and the next moment he seemed like a devil. She was scared. Not only of him, but also of herself. She was not sure what was happening to her.
