Chapter 14. Breakfast with Lee's.....

At Seven in the morning, Isla woke up. She would always wake up at this time. Her body clock was set like this. When she opened her eyes , she saw an unfamiliar surrounding. The room was five times her room in her apartment. She sat up on the bed in daze. Then she remembered yesterday's sequences.

She could not believe whatever happened till now.

She felt herself lucky that she got a new grandfather as her gaurdian.

She got out of the bed and went to restroom attached to the room. She quickly got ready and went towards the dining hall. It was a huge hall which had a huge dining table in the middle of the room. Grandfather was sitting in the head chair. Isla was standing stunned at the entrance of the hall.

"Come, my child , have breakfast" said grandfather to her. Grace quickly stood up and came towards Isla who was still standing at the same place in daze. She held her hand and brought her inside making her sit beside her.

" This is the girl I told you about just now. From today she will live in this mension with us . She will be the part of the family from today onwards. The sooner you accept her , better for you all" said grandfather in a commanding tone.

There were different expressions seen across the dining table. Some were not so happy and others were indifferent towards the command.And some were smiling at her. Grace was very happy whereas Jasper raised his brows in amusement.

Jasper could not believe that the world was so small. He met this girl yesterday in the interview and was highly impressed by her. She looked innocent as a child, but very intelligent. He could see hints of nervousness in her body language, yet she gave all the answers correctly which satisfied the interviewers. He already started to consider her as his younger sister. And decided that he would protect her in future.

When Isla saw Jasper she was stunned. Earlier she was nervous but now she was scared. She did not know that one of the interviewer sitting in the room that day to interview her was a Lee. She was very intimidated by him that day. But now she could see that he really resembled William Lee and the man whom she saved last night.

But soon enough she composed herself and said in very soft and shaky voice" Hello everyone. My name is Isla Jones. Nice to meet you all."

No one greeted greeted her back. She felt embarrassed. Jasper was smiling at her. And Grace , who was sitting by her side , pated her head with a loving smile on her face. She already started considering as her daughter.

" Such a well behaved child. Isla, make yourself home. No need to get scared of anyone here. We are a family now." said an old lady who looked very sophisticated even in her wrinkles. But still she looked kind. She was sitting on the left side of the table beside grandfather Lee. " I am old madam Lee. You can call me grandmother from now on. If you have any problem in future you can always come to me." she said with a kind smile on her face.

Isla nodded looking down giving a very nervous smile. She could not look into the eyes of anyone sitting on the table for more then five seconds. She was always like this , nervous of people elder to her. She would always avoid socializing with people due to her childhood trauma.

"Thank you grandmother." she added meekly.

The family of Charles had a very different aura around them. His wife, Tina Wilson, was furious that one more member was added, that too, it was a girl, which could be a threat to the position of her daughter in the family. She could see love and warmth in the eyes of elder Lee for her. His daughter, Jackline Lee was also not happy. She was literally giving Isla a sinister look. But his son, Andrew Lee was indifferent. It didn't matter to him whoever comes or goes. He himself was having fun in his life. He was the head of Lee entertainment . And he was happy with whatever he had. But still he gave a slight smile to Isla.

Next came the family of Daniel's Aunt. Emma Lee was the the director of Lee fashion house. She herself single handedly found it under the name of Lee group. She gave a slight smile with a nod of appreciation to Isla. She was a widow. Her husband, Peter Anderson, was in army, and died in a mission abroad . Since then she started living in the Lee manor. She had a daughter, named Suzy Anderson, who was also studying fashion designing abroad.

"Eat something dear." said Grace to Isla and helped her to pick up a toast and some juice. It was an English style breakfast which was her favourite but Isla couldn't eat much due to her nervousness.

Grace saw this , and decided to send something to her room after the breakfast was over.

William was not present for breakfast because he had to handle some important matters in the company since Daniel was admitted in hospital.

Jasper stood up and said "I will take my leave now" and left for office.
