As Noah listened on their conversation, he could only sigh. Even in this world politics existed, Noah had been exposed to politics in his line of work and he was sick of it to be honest.

Earth and even here, they had their own unique form of politics.

"Anyway, enough of all that gloom and stop being so tense. Here, you can relax. Your uncle will take care of you whilst you are in my territory." Leno immediately reverted back to his 'loving uncle' persona, a smile on his face.

Nulla chuckled for the first time since Noah met her. Looking at her cute laugh, Noah really didn't understand. How could someone still laugh despite, from what he heard, her situation being so dire.

Anyway, that wasn't his business.

Nulla placed the large chest on the table and opened it. No matter how much Noah saw this, he couldn't help himself but be amazed.

The Mana spread out from the chest as Nulla pulled out three items wrapped in some sort of enchanted cloth. The piece of fabric had markings and all sorts of pattern on its surface and glowed a subtle shine.

"Ohhhooho~ these items are giving off very powerful mana — a good sign in terms of it's quality and value." Leno couldn't hide his excitement as his grin spread to his ears.

"Come, come, let me take a look." You could hear the eagerness and excitement in his tone as he impatiently said like how a kid would do so if he was given the opportunity to receive a candy.

Nulla opened one of the item. Slowly taking off the piece of cloth, Noah squinted his eyes behind the mask looking straight into the item.

What was revealed was a piece of stone. Different from other stones, it's color was a bright red and released a searing heat. In it's core, it shone as a dancing flame — barely a spark rested. The Mana and heat it gave off was immense, despite it's small size of a palm, Noah could feel the heat it radiated.

"Th-this is a fragment of raw elemental fire!!" It wasn't only Noah who gawked, even the head of the house was the same. His mouth hung slightly open as his eyes burned with passion.

He immediately leaned on closer to check the item in a more detailed manner.

"Ohohooohh ~, the craftsmens are gonna go crazy for this. It's quality could be considered top-tier. Such a piece of ore is very rare as well — found only in the fiercest pit of hell where flames burn eternally." Leno's smile reached his ears, he could only imagine the outcome of such an item being auctioned, people would kill for this.

A raw fire fragment was an essential core in making enchanted items of high-quality. With such a precious and rare material, if the craftsmen can able to draw out it's flames and do the craft accurately, then the item being made could gain the fire attribute.

For example, if a craftsmen wanted to create a sword, if he used this material in making it and he was successful, then that sword would gain the ability to burn and ignite into flames.

It would be a flaming sword!

Same way applied to an axe — any weapon in nature.

"Hahahaha!! The craftsmen and those who want a strong weapon will go crazy for this, it will definitely earn you hundreds of mid-tier mana stone!!"

As Noah listened on, he looked at the stone with wide eyes. A thing such as this could earn you over hundreds of mid-tier mana stones? Then it's value is probably just as much or even more.

A mana stone is a solidified mana that is often found in caves and is found in places where mana is very dense and compact.

Mana stones is another form of currency in this world but is only often used by those who have mana or those who can use skills whilst the gold coins Noah had been picking up from the bandits was currency for the common folks.

Moreover, mana stones are natural resources that give people the opportunity to increase their mana. By absorbing the Mana stone, you could increase the amount of mana you have.

When Noah heard this topic from Nulla in their ride to here, he was absolutely taken aback. This was what he just needed, with this then he could probably get some more mana and finally able to use his skills without worrying it would be thinned out already.

However, the world was fair. If such an item could increase the Mana of everyone in such a fast pace, then every one would be strong wouldn't they?

Absorbing the Mana stone's often takes a long time. It also is a long process since the Mana stone is raw and isn't refined by a craftsmen and is therefore cannot be absorbed easily, and even then, impurities would be present and could even cause a mana overdose — a case where impure and unrefined mana enters your system and your own refined and clean mana fights it out.

Still, absorbing mana stones could still be very helpful in increasing your mana. Mana overdose only happens when you often absorb mana stones. To avoid this problem, you have to get your mana stones refined, albeit would take long, it would be much safer and more practical than absorbing a raw mana stone.

You don't even need to specifically get the impurities out of the Mana stone through other hands, you could even do it yourself but you have to have great control over mana and know how it works and it's nature.

And indeed, a mana stone can help you but too much will cause more harm than good.

This is the reason why mana stones is used as a form of currency — because essentially, in its own, it isn't really all that useful. However, unrefined mana stones aren't insignificant or irrelevant in any way. The raw mana stones could be very helpful in many ways now in the world and powers up many magical items whether it be weapons or just artifact and even magic circles.

For example a barrier, a set-up barrier would need power and mana stones could provide just that. There are many more cases where mana stones are used as a form of energy and is therefore not insignificant in any way.
