Chapter 44 Don't Bother Putting it On!

"Help me dry my hair," Ronald ordered while ruffling his wet hair.

Emily paused for a second then gulped. She scampered out of the bed and found a hairdryer nearby.

"Come sit on the bed instead. You're too tall for me to reach," she said.

He said nothing as he walked to the edge of the bed and sat down. He shut his eyelids and allowed her to do her thing.

Neither of them spoke as she gently massaged his scalp and as the warm air caressed his face. Apart from the sound of the hairdryer, there was an inexplicable feeling of bliss in the air.

This instantly took her back to the good times.

After she finished blowing his hair dry, she hurried to the wardrobe to get him a fresh pair of sleeping clothes.

He looked up at her and gave her a mischievous grin. "Why bother putting it on when I'm going to take it off anyways?" he smirked.
