Chapter 43 She Has the Right to be Cocky!

Inside the restaurant, Emily faced Abby and announced in a deadpan manner, "I want to terminate my contract with Canine Productions,"

After hearing her recount her encounter with Matteo, Abby had guessed that this would be the outcome. "Have you thought about what to do next?" she asked softly.

"Not really," Emily admitted and shook her head slowly with a teacup in her hands. 

Terminating her contract would mean that she had to start all over again. Her previous efforts would be in vain and she might end up working in a shadier agency, but what other options did she have left?

Abby frowned. "Why don't you wait a bit longer? You can hire a lawyer to terminate your current contract once you've found a company that's willing to take you in," she suggested nervously.

On the other hand, Matteo might've had a better look of her after yesterday's fiasco, so wouldn't she be offending him by terminating her contract so soon?
