To become a knight was his childhood dream, it was from the very moment he had heard about them through stories.
But that dream could never materialise; the dream itself remained just that—a dream.
In the current era, knights are historical artefacts from a bygone era that are only mentioned in dry historical accounts.
And he was already aware of the unflinching reality.
In today's society, he could never become a knight.
He wished that he had been born in a time when knights still existed so that he could go on an exciting adventure, but just like his dream, it would never come true.
That's what he had assumed, at least.
Fortunately for him, destiny is spinning; it's close at hand, giving him the chance to live in his dream and make it a reality in another world, but it's not how he had anticipated.
