Love in a place where fingers mean world [BL]

“He was standing at the edge of the rooftop, looking down at the ground. It looked like paradise. Full of trees, lawns, kids playing happily outside. He looked at them with jealousy. Deal

"I need a favor from you," Chao said to his brother. After he had lunch he joined his brother in his office room and Yitian went to move his laptop next to Chao's computer, so they could start playing together later.

His brother looked at him with his brow raised. He looked from behind the screen at Chao with an obvious question in his face.

"What you said?" he asked, stopped writing, and rode his chair so he would see Chao without obstruction. Chao sat at the couch near the door and sighed heavily. He pulled out his phone, got up, and showed Lei a picture. When Lei saw it, he cursed.

"Who did it? Why is nobody doing anything?" Lei sounded angry. And he was because he was the same as Chao. He couldn't just stay at the side not helping. He went back to sit at the couch and closed his eyes while leaning back. This picture haunted him for the past four months, he never told Lei what happened until now.

"His mother beat him up. And the rest was work of the road he fell on. That's where the sum disappeared, I had to take him to hospital." Chao spilled and Lei flinched. It was no little money that he spent but if this was the reason, he was okay with it. Lei's main work in this family was money-making and keeping. And he was really good at it. He took after their father in this aspect. Chao on the opposite was more into creative work. Lei was CEO in dad's company, Chao was the first beta tester. Usually, before starting a game, they would give him a list of ideas and he would say what he had to. Then during the development, he would come to the company and oversee the progress. Before giving it to real beta testers, he would be the first one to play it. I think they called his position something like a special adviser, but he did not care. He was given money, so he did his work. And since he started this job in high school he accumulated a nice sum of them. He gave them to Lei, to take care of them, and heck that guy was so good with the money he made a whole bunch. That's why he knew, he could easily ask for the favor he had in mind.

"So, what about the favor?" Chao asked once more. "Hurry up, I'm not sure I can leave him alone now. I think he is out from the worst but his mom did some real damage. I found him ready to commit suicide. I had to save him. I had to help." Chao sighed and Lei looked at him, inquisitively. Was it the first step for Chao to heal? Or to be destroyed? The staff already told him about Chao's nightmares not stopping. Not since he met this guy obviously.

"He is not some puppy you can take in and will never leave, Chao. He is a human being, he needs freedom, he needs choice. You can't just take him in and say you will be always by my side." Lei said a bit sadly, but Chao knew what this was about. Yes, he had a problem with people leaving him, but he would never do what Lei said, not to Yitian. He believed him. Somehow.

"Don't worry. I will just help him." When Lei then nodded and Chao let out a relieved breath. It meant Lei was willing to help him out. Or at least, willing to listen to his favor. At least that…

"I need an apartment near the university." Chao let out and Lei's eyebrows rose to heaven. First time asking for a favor and it was only this? Pfff, Lei was actually thinking it would be something like punish this woman or hire a hitman or something, but buying an apartment? He had no problem with that.

"How many rooms?" Lei asked and surprised Chao who expected to hear some arguments.

"I have no idea, two or three. I want everyone to have their own room." Chao answered, he was thinking about inviting Yixing to join him, that guy was a good friend, sometimes. But he was funny at least, and it wouldn't be so awkward to be there with Yitian only.

"Maid, housekeeper?" Lei asked, knowing how useless his brother was in doing chores. Chao thought for a bit. He then turned around and left the room with: "I'll be back soon."

Chao went to his room and found Yitian downloading the launcher for the game on both, the computer and laptop too. He jerked himself a bit when hearing Chao coming in without knocking. That was probably because of what happened when the door opened when he was at home. Yitian spent the time when he was alone thinking about what next. He had no money, it will take a longer time to make some money with his tutoring and he won't get work elsewhere without a home. His only choice was Chao. But he did not want to take advantage of Chao.

"Do you know how to do house chores? Cooking? Cleaning?" Chao asked him out of sudden, surprising him. Yitian only nodded with his mouth hung open. "Good…I will hire you for food and bed." Chao continued and walked away from the room again. Yitian was so shocked, it was too quick for him to fully understand everything that happened. He stood there for a few moments then he ran to chase Chao.

"No problem, Yitian will work off his part of rental fees." Chao came back to Lei's office. "He has nowhere to go." Lei looked behind Chao and saw Yitian vigorously walk into the room, but when Yitian noticed Lei, he suddenly became timid. 'Looks like he trusts only Chao for now.' Lei thought for himself.

"Deal." He said and chased them out of the room. He then called his estate agent. It won't be long before they move.
