Yu Yan remained speechless. She was still sitting on the ground with her mouth open while staring at the young man in front of her. It never dawned into her mind that someone could be more dazzling than Feng Yun.
Seeing her in daze, the young man held the sword with its black blade coated with black blood, slowly walked towards her. He stopped in front of Yu Yan and bent his knees as if he's paying respect to a royalty.
However, he touched Yu Yan's chin instead and closed her mouth with a blank expression on his face. Then his deep cold voice floated towards her ears saying, "You're drooling."
Yu Yan who was still in shock, came to her senses. Hearing the young man, she immediately wiped her mouth subconsciously. Conscious that she really might have drooled.
Seeing Yu Yan's reaction, the young man's lips twitched subconsciously. He did not expect that she would take his words seriously.
However, while looking at her lovely face in a daze, his eyes fell on the small cut on Yu Yan's lips. His eyes focused on the traces of blood on her wound.
With his strong senses, the sweet smell of Yu Yan's blood reached his nose. An unknown feeling began to course through his veins, making his blood boil like magma rushing all over his body.
His throat began to feel dry, making him feel very thirsty like he wanted to drink the sea. He tried to calm the urge by releasing a warm flow of his internal force on his veins to calm his boiling blood.
Next thing he did was place his hand on Yu Yan's head and said: "You will forget what you saw." His scarlet eyes looking straight at Yu Yan's clear black ones.
A warm flow of energy began to emerge from the young man's palm spreading towards Yu Yan's head, covering her brain, and making her feel sleepy. The relaxing sensation on her mind made her close her eyes.
After a minute, the warm flow stopped and the young man retracted his hand from Yu Yan's head. She opened her eyes and blinked twice as she stared at him in confusion.
"What did you do?" Yu Yan asked curiously.
Young man: "..."
Looking at Yu Yan who was still conscious, the young man was confused. He knew that the moment he released the energy that engulfed her mind, her memories of the 'vampire' would be removed.
He opened his mouth to speak, but he was interrupted by Yu Yan's question, "Is it about the man earlier?"
Young man: "..."
After confirming that Yu Yan did not forget what happen, the young man was very curious why (1)Mǒ qù did not work on her. This is the first time he experienced that someone's memory was not erased.
"What are you?" the young man asked. His fierce eyes were like that of a hungry wolf.
Yu Yan's confused expression spoke of having no idea what the young man was asking about. "What do you mean by what I am?"
Without a word, the young man grabbed her wrist. He felt her soft delicate skin on his fingers. He checked her pulse and explored her veins to see if there was any abnormalities on her body while he kept staring straight at Yu Yan's clear black eyes.
"I'm alright...not hurt.." Yu Yan claimed, thinking that he is checking if she got internal injuries after she fought with the 'vampire'.
