A vampire?
He punched in a few numbers. After a couple of seconds, another phone rang from his pocket. He saved his number on Yu Yan's phone and handed it back to her.
Li Yan Feng took his phone out from his jeans pocket and saved Yu Yan's number. He punched in the name "beautiful stranger" then placed it back into his pocket.
"I'll give you a call once I need your first payment." he claimed with a smile on his face. However, Yu Yan without giving him another word, suddenly turned and ran away; leaving him speechless.
He chuckled as he watched Yu Yan's disappearing back: "That one is interesting...so pure and innocent.."
After running away, Yu Yan stopped on a dark street to catch her breath. She turned to cast a look back to where she came from then started to move forward to go home.
On her way back, Yu Yan heard a scream coming from the next empty street that she was about to turn to next. She suddenly stopped on her tracks then slowly walked forward.
However, when she turned towards the next street, she was horrified by what she saw. A man was biting a woman's neck with red blood oozing out from both the woman's skin and from the man's mouth.
When the man's gaze turned to look at her, she saw his blood thirsty eyes. He bared his fangs while blood dripped from the corners of his mouth.
'Vampire?
Do they still exist?
If not, what do you call the one in front of me?'
The moment that the man saw Yu Yan, he threw the woman on the ground and attacked Yu Yan.
With a swift move, Yu Yan dodged and tried to kick the man on his chest. This made him step back but he immediately rushed towards Yu Yan again.
Yu Yan fought back, giving him a heavy blow on his chest making him spit a mouthful of black blood.
However, this did not stop the man from attacking Yu Yan. He kept rushing towards her and used his hand with claw-like nails to attack her.
After multiple attacks, Yu Yan began to feel exhausted. Her legs felt soft and she almost stumbled to the ground.
'He is strong!
Or.. Am I just weak?'
Thinking of ways to beat the man, Yu Yan almost failed to dodge the man's hand that was about to scratch her face. The tip of his sharp nails was able to graze her lips. Leaving a small wound on the tip of her lower red lip.
'What the hell!'
Red blood oozed down from her lips. She body was running out of strength. She tried to block the man's attack by taking a her step back. Because her legs felt soft, her butt slammed onto the ground.
After seeing Yu Yan fall to the ground, coupled with the scent of her blood, the man started to make feel crazy.
With his thirst for blood, the man took advantage of Yu Yan's situation to attack. But he was suddenly interrupted and stopped right in front of her.
There was a piercing pain on his chest that stopped his heart from beating. When the man looked down to the source of the pain, there was a black blade pierced from his back throughout his chest making his black blood gush out onto the ground.
After a couple of seconds, a palm reached towards the back of the man's head. Red fire engulfed his body and he instantly burned into ashes.
Watching the scene, Yu Yan who was still on the ground with her mouth open, was completely dumbstruck. She never expected that she will be saved from this dangerous situation.
When the 'vampire' disappeared into ashes, she saw a young man holding a sword with black blade standing in front of her; wearing a cold expression.
His soft silver hair dancing in the wind, red lips, high nose, long lashes and a pair of scarlet eyes that seemed to be washed by a sea of blood.
