Gotta Get Some Air

It's a silent night, but a beautiful night. Stars shone like glitters that painted the sky. There are no people around because it's midnight. It's only two people left at the Marine Harbour.

He and her.

Though both of them clear things before at the supermarket, there are lots of things they need to catch up on. A week span is quite a long time for both of them.

"Sunny..." Reese gathers her courage to initiate the conversation. They are chilling at the back of her Hummer, sitting next to each other.

Sun turns his head and faces her, watching those eyes piercing into his sight.

"Ah, never mind!" Reese looks away, unable to ask the question. Her blushed cheeks are visible, reddish like a tomato. Sun draws a smile and then stares at his shoes.

"Your brothers... They are extraordinary..." says Sun. He will never forget the conversation that they had at Reese's house. He might be a fool but isn't a total fool to realize how huge and majestic the Kim family is.

"Not to mention super protective as well!" he continues.

"Yeah, because I am the only girl in the house. I am the oldest, but they treat me like the youngest," says Reese.

"It's good to have such a lovely family. And rich too!"

"We are not rich! We just a bunch of hardworking people," Reese smiles at Sun.

"I mean, owning an exclusive auto garage is not something that everyone can get. Plus, your brothers' careers are extraordinary. At least better than I am," he scribbles his finger on the surface.

"Hey, don't say that! I believe one day you too will be successful as well. Just believe in yourself," Reese grabs his hand and pulls him closer so they can face each other.

"Sunny, can I ask you something?" Sun nods. Reese inhales the air deeply and musters her courage.

Okay, here goes nothing!

"Did you mean those words you said before?" asks Reese.

"Which one?"

"You do not promise me a world, but you will give your whole world to me?"

Sun stutters a bit. He looks down as he slowly nods his head. He did mean the confession. It's coming straight from his heart.

"Thanks..."

"For what?" asks Sun.

"It's a sweet confession. No one ever confesses like that, especially in front of my family," says Reese. Her voice appears to be soft and delicate. Like she unleashes her feminine side that Sun has never seen before.

Talking about the extraordinary circumstance, even her family never saw this side of her.

"Don't tell me you never get a confession like that!" Sun frowns. A beautiful woman like Reese should at least get millions of confessions throughout her life.

"Believe me, I don't..." Reese chuckles.

Yeah, of course, Reese! Because no one ever DARE to speak to you! Let alone confessing like that!

"It's something that I should do, so I won't lose you, again..." Sun replies.

"Again?" Reese frowns.

"Yeah, you left me once. I can't handle the loss anymore. You have no idea how it feels when you were used to getting those texts, phone calls, and hangouts, and suddenly it just..." Sun looks gloomy. "I feel so lonely," he continues.

"You are not alone... You got me, right?"

"I got you... Wait?? What?" Sun feels a heavy thumping in his chest.

"I'm not leaving you again, I promise you. But I want you to promise something," Reese slowly cups Sun's face and makes him look at her. "You have to promise me that you will always trust me no matter what happens to us in the future," says Reese.

"That means..."

"Promise me first, Sunny..."

"Okay... Okay... I promise," Reese sticks out her pinky. Sun chuckles a bit before entwines his pinky with her.

"Bind... Stamp... Done!" says Reese before she grins widely.

Sun can't help but giggle. Reese looks so cute but at the same time, she is taking this matter seriously, too.

She is a chic girl!

"So..."

"So..."

"Should we agree on something?" asks Sun. Reese pushes him away, in tease. They laugh awkwardly, trying to hide their shyness.

It's silent for a moment.

"Sunny..." Sun turns his head and glances at Reese. He shocks when their eyes meet, so close like there's nothing that can even pass between them.

"I love you, Sun..."

With those four words, Reese is leaning closer. She tilts her head, giving some freedom to her nose so it won't block her lips.

Sun feels the storm inside his heart. He shuts his eyes tight and grips the hem of his hoodie.

Reese opens her eyes, looking at awkward Sun who is stiff in front of her. She smiles a bit. After some moment, she decides to brush her lips against his lips before landing her sweet kiss on his forehead.

She kisses him for a long time, dispersing the longing that she held for a long time. Then she pulls away.

Sun opens his eyes and feels confused.

"What? Think I wanna kiss your lips again?"

"Wha- No!" Sun denies it. Reese chuckles a bit, feeling amused by Sun's awkward self. She leans closer again.

"You need to get used to it, coz I like skinships, especially kisses," she whispers to his ears.

And for that, Sun blushes even harder than before.

"What are you looking at?"

Jimin scoots over when he sees Gi coming towards him. He is chilling on the rooftop, enjoying the star-gazing

"As usual, I'm doing my weird hobby," he replies. Gi chuckles. He slowly takes his place next to Jimin.

"Star gazing is not a weird hobby..."

Jimin turns his head aside, looking at Gi. The man casually hooks his chin on Jimin's shoulder, making the young suddenly turn pink.

"Keep gazing. Don't mind me. I'm gazing at my star, too!" Gi grins while staring straight into Jimin's face.

"Hyung..."

"Hmm?" Gi replies in short.

"Why are you doing this to me?" Jimin asks.

It's not that Jimin hates Gi for making his heart rattle like crazy every time he is closer to him. But, he hates the feeling that he has for Gi. It's uncertain. Sometimes, he wants Gi. Sometimes, he pushes Gi away. He is confused about his feelings. And Gi teasing him like this makes him even more confused.

"What do you mean?" asks Gi. He stands up straight, facing the young with his chill attitude.

Jimin sighs. He doesn't know where to start.

"This... I mean, this situation. This attitude. You love teasing me so much! Just now, at the hospital. You claimed me in front of the nurse. Min Jimin? Are you for real, Hyung?" Jimin bursts into words. Gi gazes at him.

"You hate it?"

"I... I..."

Gi comes closer to Jimin. He stares deep into Jimin's eyes.

"I can stop if you want. Your call..."

"But-"

Gi suddenly turns into a cold person. His expression is the same expression when he wants to kill his target. It's chilly, even for Jimin who used to deal with mafias.

He moves backward a bit, trying to create a space between him and Jimin. He keeps his sight on him and pauses for a good amount of time before deciding to leave the space.

"Hyung," Jimin grabs Gi's wrist, trying to stop the older one from leaving.

"I don't mind. But... I don't know who am I to you. Sometimes, the signal is kinda blur. I don't know if you just love teasing people, or..."

Jimin can't continue anymore. He stutters as he stands there, feeling timid.

Gi turns back. He drags Jimin closer to him, cups his face, and gives him a deep French kiss. Jimin is in a state of shock, he can't even react well to the kiss. After some time, Gi pulls back and stares at Jimin with his lovely eyes.

"You are my Jimin. Min Jimin,"

Jimin blushes hard. He feels suffocated. How he wished that the ground was crumbling so he could fall into the hole and hide himself!

"Are you blushing?" Gi asks. Jimin stares down, fidgeting a bit. Gi chuckles as he pinches Jimin's chin and lifts his head so they can stare at each other.

"You're blushing..." Gi teases Jimin. The younger looks down and tries to hide his shyness. Gi slowly leans closer to his ears.

"Then..."

Jimin's heart is pumping fast!

"Then... My job is done for today..."

Snap.

Jimin pushes Gi away from him, giving him a deadly stare. The man laughs so hard, teasing Jimin even more. Jimin smacks his shoulder and pushes Gi away, striding towards the stairs.

"Minnie!" Gi calls him, more like yelling his name out.

"I hate you, Hyung! Don't talk to me ever again!" the younger snaps and leaves Gi alone on the rooftop, feeling frustrated and cheated.

Gi chuckles as he looks up at the sky, feeling relieved. All the burdens have been lifted from his shoulders along with the confession that he made just now.

"It might sound like a tease or a joke, but I do love you, my lovely Jimin..." says Gi, smiling like a fool all by himself.
