Mountain of gifts

Time slowly passed.

Realising that, more and more people going out. Around twenty had left.

No idea how long. Until all will be done.

Most of the people that went out were drunk. Some were moved without their knowledge.

Good that I have not started drinking. No idea how it would all end.

As I keep slipping the juice, I monitor Paula. She looked at me a few times. Mostly she keeps looking at people who are close to her.

She keeps talking with them.

I tried to not hide watching Paula. As time slowly started passing, I could feel sleepy. As more and more people went out, only a few left.

Looking around, I could see Emily sleeping at the table.

No idea when she fell asleep, but it might be as I monitor Paula.

I could not take my eyes off her. If she is sitting or dancing. I keep following her.

"You should go soon," Jim said. Hearing it, I looked at him and said, "Oh."

"We will end soon."

"Ok," I said, and when he nodded, I got up and came closer to Paula. As she started going out from the parquet.

I smiled and said, "I will go now. Have a great rest of the party."

"Ok, Jack. Thank you for coming here."

"No problem," I said while smiling, and after coming out, I looked around. While I kept doing it, I started walking to the bus stop.

I keep my phone in my hand. As I looked at it, I could see that JJ drove close and moved his hand. Seeing it, I nodded and walked inside.

"Wonderful party?"

"Yes. Home," I said. Hearing me, he nodded, and when I smiled, he started driving back home.

While we kept driving there for some time, we finally came to our destination. Seeing it, I said, "Thanks."

"It is my job. See you tomorrow."

"Oh, maybe. I will see. All depends on how I will feel," I said. Hearing me, JJ started laughing, and he said, "Hangover."

"No. I ate too much. So I will see," I said.

When he nodded, I came out. Seeing him driving away, I came into my place. As I looked around, a smile showed up on my face, and while there, I walked to have a shower.

Good refreshing shower.

I missed it.

At first, I did not know how I would sweat there, but after touching my shirt, I could feel that it is wet.

As I keep enjoying it, for who knows how long I have done it at one point.

As I walked to the kitchen, I made tea.

Having it in my hand, I walked to the bedroom, and after sitting on the bed, I started slipping it. They had only juices. So I keep drinking them there.

Therefore, I need something hot now. As I kept doing it, I had done it all at one point.

Seeing it, a smile showed up on my face, and not long after I lay. I fell asleep.

Paula POV

I did not know that this party would be so big. As I looked at mommy and daddy, they kept smiling. Seeing it, I said, "I will go now."

"Ok, princes. Your gifts are in your room. I hope you can go by them," daddy said. Hearing it, I nodded and said, "I hope so too. Still, I haven't received so many. In my lifetime."

"Like two hundred."

"Oh, my god. I lost track," I said while looking at them. Hearing me, they nodded. I nodded too, and I came slowly outside. I could see Ann waiting for me in a car.

Seeing her look, I came inside, and she said, "We checked all the gifts. No explosives or drugs."

"Thanks."

"No problem. Miss. Will you go to sleep?" she asked.

"No. I will try to stay awake. Now I am like a small kid. Waiting to open gifts," I said.

"Oh, I suppose."

"Yes," I said. Especially I want to check what Jack bought for me. From the look of it, it can be something sweet.

Thinking about this, I looked out the window and kept thinking about how this party was.

As I keep thinking about this, who knows when we have come to our destination.

Seeing it, I smiled, and after coming inside, I smiled and walked to my room.

Good that someone put them on the side. Seeing the mountain of gifts, I could only shake my head.

What I will do with them?

Thinking about this, I changed first. Being in a dress is nice, but for this, I need to work on everything.

I put a few gifts on the side, and as I could remember, half of them were from who they were. I started checking.

Seeing perfumes and other things in some, I started putting them on the side.

They are what I like. Most people know about this.

A few times, I meet with some cards and cash. Seeing them, I put on another side.

I could see a gift from Jack. I moved it to the side. As I will check later what is there.

With more opening gifts, mountains with skin care products, perfumes, and similar things started rising.

Seeing it, I know I will need to give some to Lucy, Emily, and Ann. I will for sure not use them.

No idea how many we have, but for sure. If I keep them for the next few years. I might use them all.

Thinking about this, I walked out downstairs. As I looked at mommy, she asked, "Why did you come here? You need something to drink. Are you feeling unwell?"

"No. I came for some enormous bags. To get a few gifts packed there."

"Oh, you know where they are?" mommy asked. Hearing her, I nodded, and as she smiled, I walked for a few bags.

While having them, I came back to the bedroom, and when I smiled, I started packing them. I will need to check them once again later. To choose which I will be using. Which will go as gifts?

Knowing it, I looked at the rest. Around half of them are still close.

Seeing it, I shook my head. I will for sure check them.

As I keep opening them. Only the bigger one stayed, and the Jack one.

I could see alcohol there and many other things. No idea how they bought it.

Few watches.

I truly do not wear one. Few pairs of underwear. I would do something bad to someone who bought it. I cannot remember who gave them to me.

As I kept going, most of them were in cash. Which is good.

It takes the least amount of space. Later perfumes and other things.

After this alcohol. Truly, I could open a shop with alcohol.

Seeing them, I shook my head. As I packed them in bags. For sure, I cannot lift it.

Little electronic stuff. New consoles. Bad that the same company. I will have one here and a second in the flat. Maybe I will play with Jack.

Thinking about this, I looked at a few portable consoles. One I could recognise. Japanese brand. Second, I do not know what it is.

Mountain of games to them.

Probably who gave them to me is an old friend. Once, I had a phase of gaming. Now not so much, but I can check a few of them.

As I put them on the side. For later, only one left.

Gift from Jack.

No idea how long I keep opening them, but I could feel sweat coming down my forehead.

Feeling it, I checked the hour. Two hours passed from the point. I come back home. Probably everyone is sleeping now.

Knowing that I put the gift on the side and walked to the kitchen. After grabbing the juice, I came back and looked at what Jack bought for me.

After opening it, I could see chocolate. Seeing it, I smiled.

Knowing his financial situation, he could afford only this. As I removed it, I could see two boxes.

I recognise brands. As it is popular with jewellery. Seeing it, I checked the first box. I could see the necklace there. It has some type of stone. Probably ruby.

I could feel a lonely tear going down. I like it so much. As I grabbed it, I looked at it.

Seeing it all, I smiled and opened the next box.

There are earrings. I do not wear them. So maybe in the future, I will. As I keep looking at it, I put it to the side.

Today I will meet him. Knowing it, I smiled, and I walked to have a shower. After ending it all, I come out and keep looking at the necklace.

As I keep doing it, for some time, I like it so much. When I drifted it into the box.

I hid it on a shelf.

When I had done this, I closed my eyes, and not long after, I fell asleep.
