Month older than you

After checking once again if I have it all, a smile shows up on my face. Knowing that soon, I will go to Paula's birthday party I looked around.

Seeing JJ in the car, I smiled, and as he pointed to his hand, I looked at him. No idea what he meant. Seeing my look, he smiled and shook his head.

Seeing it, I come closer, and after opening the doors, I said, "What is happening?"

"You come out early."

"No. On-time. See you probably in a few hours," I said. Hearing me, JJ nodded, and when I smiled, I kept walking to the bus stop.

After finally coming to it, I waited for the bus, and not long after, my journey began.

I need to change one, so after doing it. I monitor what is happening outside.

Seeing that soon I should come to my destination. I checked the gift once again.

Feeling that all is good with it, I keep checking the bus stops. Seeing that the next one I needed to come, I got up and walked out after the bus stopped.

As I looked around at what I could do now, I searched where all was happening. I could see a sports car going in one direction. Seeing it, I now know where all is ongoing.

Realising it, a smile showed up on my face, which was hidden under a mask, and I walked slowly there.

I could hear music going on and car engines.

Hearing it, I know I have come to a good place. Seeing it, I looked at the building in which everything was happening. Seeing that I will probably wait in the queue, I slow down with my walk.

Looking around, I saw a shop. Seeing it, I walked inside and after buying juice, came out.

Seeing that the queue was bigger. I took the juice and started drinking it. While I kept doing it, I walked slowly there.

Seeing many people there talking, I came to the end and started waiting.

Nothing moved at all.

Seeing it, I checked my phone and saw that soon everything would begin. I could see one simple thing.

Paula has not opened their doors yet.

Why? Come to my mind. Why has she not done this yet? Thinking about this, a few people come behind me.

I received one punch on the side as they walked close to me. Seeing their looks, I could see that they were skipping the queue.

Feeling pain in my side, I massaged for a quick second and started looking down. Maybe finally, all will slump.

More and more people started skipping the queue. Seeing it, I shook my head, and as I kept drinking the juice, I did this.

After hiding the bottle, I will throw it out later. So now I can finally move. As it all started.

Seeing more and more people coming and skipping where I am, I looked at them.

No idea how long it all took. Finally, I could see the doors. As the music became louder, I shook my head.

The party here is probably going to be long and loud.

Knowing it, I kept walking slowly, and when I finally came inside, I could see Paula there. I could see behind her Jim and her mother.

Seeing it, I waited, and when I passed the gift to her, I said the normal formula for wishing happy birthday.

When I did this, she nodded and looked around.

As I walked away for some time, I finally found a place where I can stay for now.

As I looked at an enormous table with names there, I had hoped that I would sit somewhere else.

Alternatively, just at the end. Thinking about this, I looked around, and after grabbing juice, I drank a little.

As the music keeps going, few people keep dancing.

I could recognise a few from our school.

Rest is unknown to me.

Seeing them, I realised that fewer people are outside.

Knowing it, I smiled, and after drinking, I put the glass on the side and walked slowly to look for the bathroom.

As I kept walking, I could see Paula's dad. Seeing me, he said, "oh, Jack."

"Hello."

"You come here," he said, looking at me.

"Paula invited me."

"Still. I hope everything will go well with no problems. Are you looking for something?" he asked.

"Bathroom," I said, looking into his eyes. Hearing me, he smiled and pointed in one direction. Seeing it, I nodded and strolled there.

Seeing the bathroom, I came inside, and after using it, I could hear, "what are you doing here?"

As I looked at who said it, I said, "You can see. I came to a birthday party."

"Why?" she said. I do not know who she is. As I looked at her, I added, "they invited me. So I come."

"Go," she started saying, but a few more people came. Seeing them, I shook my head and walked away. She is who she is. Changed drastically seeing them.

Knowing it, I smiled, and after coming to where I was earlier, I stayed there until the first dish started coming.

As I have not eaten, I walked to look where my seat was. I started from the edge on the left.

Seeing my name there, I sat and started waiting for food to come. Seeing it coming, I smiled and started eating it.

No idea what it can be, but I like it. While I kept eating, I was done at one point.

Hearing talks ongoing all around, I looked at Paula as she kept sitting in the centre. I smiled. Seeing her looking around, she looked at me for a long and moved back to eating.

Seeing her side, I smiled and looked around.

After grabbing one salad, I put some in and started eating it.

I started liking it. So maybe I should know what it is called. To make when I will be alone.

Thinking about this, I could hear music becoming louder, and most walked to the parquet.

Seeing them dancing, I sat better and looked at what was on the table.

Seeing juice and alcohol, I shook my head. After grabbing the juice, I smiled and filled the glass.

When I was done, I looked at Paula. Seeing her on the parquet, I keep observing her.

Most people whom I know are there, so they might not see me.

Knowing it, I checked if I had it all with me and monitored her.

As all keep on going, no idea when the time passed.

Seeing that soon there will be four hours of it. I shook my head. I keep sitting here and watching all.

Most people are drunk.

Some went away as they were too drunk.

Seeing alcohol going here and there, I keep looking at everyone.

Not drinking has this plus. You can watch everything that is happening and not care about making a fool of yourself.

Knowing it, I smiled, and I monitored everyone.

Seeing some becoming more and more, I keep slipping juice.

As this all kept happening, I looked at everyone, and when a few more minutes passed, I could see the cake.

No idea how I will fit it in, but I will try to do this.

Knowing it, I smiled, and as I looked at it. The music stopped.

As everyone got up, I did the same, and we started signing.

I tried not to be too loud, as I know I suck at this. Therefore, I keep following everyone.

After ending it, we clapped for some time, and Paula started cutting the cake. Good that some people walked away. Therefore, she has less work to do now.

Seeing her smiling while she keeps doing it, I keep waiting in the queue. Seeing that, it will take a long time. After a very long time, I walked to the bathroom.

After coming out, I could see Emily looking at me. Seeing her look, she said, "Do you have an invitation?"

"Yes," I said while taking it out. Seeing this, Emily nodded and said, "good."

"You know. You are drunk," I said.

"Like everyone."

"No. I don't drink," I said. Hearing me, Emily looked into my eyes and said, "good for you, kiddo."

"Month older than you," I said into the air and trudged to my chair. They did not care about my birthday, so I brought nothing for them.

Knowing it, I smiled, and as I kept looking at everyone who was eating, I waited in the queue, and almost at last, I took peace. While having it, I came to my place and started eating.

While I kept doing it, I looked at Paula. No idea for how long everything will be ongoing, but I will try to be as long as I can. Knowing it, I smiled and monitored her.

When Paula was finally done with cutting, she walked to eat it.

Seeing it, I smiled, and as I looked at her for a quick second, I moved back to eating. After ending it all, I put the plate on the side, which almost immediately disappeared.

Seeing it, I keep trying to do nothing else, which is why I left this disaster, but I failed.

Especially now, as I have not been here for longer.

Seeing everything new here, I shook my head, and when I smiled, I focused on the music. I keep not thinking about talks, which are ongoing on my right.

I can hear that they are wrong.

Knowing it, I keep being calm like a river and say nothing about mistakes which they believe.

No idea when, but when they did it, I could see one falling asleep.

Alcohol truly can make life difficult. Seeing it, I shook my head and kept waiting to see what would come next. As I do not know what Paula planned?
