Chapter 5 Two idiots

Arriving in B city, the twins were beyond happy but was their captain going to accept that?! Let's find out!!

Mike woke up when he felt the car come to a stop and his brother shake him.The morning sun shone onto his face, It was so uncomfortable but he had to wake up anyway.

"Mike, wake up! Let's get something to eat."Travis got out of the car after shaking his brother to wake up.

Grumpily, Mike opened his eyes and yawned accompanied with the rumbling of his stomach, getting off, he stretched a bit as he scanned the area. It was a nice city because besides staying at the barracks and going to missions, this place gave off a peaceful vibe...he loved it!

"Captain is really good at spotting nice places!" his admiration for captain Jason grew the more.

"You hungry or wanna stay sightseeing?!" Travis was irritated with his brothers attitude. A few hours ago his stomach almost caused an earthquake and now that it's going to be fed, he is delaying it. Did he want to blow the city up with his monster stomach!!

"Hungry!!" he hated being reprimanded by his big brother Travis but what could he do? His invisible tail between his legs, like a well behaved pup that he wasn't, he followed behind closely.Going to the a restaurant nearby, they took their seats as they checked out the menu.

"Am going to have breakfast and the missed meals from yesterday." he whispered to himself but his brother caught on pretty well.

"Suit yourself."Travis was too tired to bricker with his brother.

Running out maniacally, Jenny instinctively placed a hand over her chest to calm down her racing heart as she looked back at the dinner. 'What was that?' she focused her eyes on the way. 'What's wrong with me, why did I run away in the first place? Arrrrgggghhhh this is so annoying!!' she pouted her cute lips. A wired feeling engulfed her back there as she felt herself showered with embarrassment when she looked at the stranger who had probably noticed her wolf appetite. Hastening her steps, she tried to forget that dreadful incident as she had more pressing matters at hand and proceeded to the direction of the college she wanted to attend.

At the dinner

The four individuals were flabbergastered. 'What's wrong with her?!' they all thought as they looked at the exit door simultaneously completely baffled.

Jason shook his head dejectedly. 'She must be crazy!' he thought and proceeded to pay for his meal which after, he walked out of the dinner to look around the area. He hadn't had enough of sightseeing yesterday but had the time today so he chose to take a stroll in the city.

Only to forget that his face was the end of his life that where ever he passed the ladies, young or old kept drooling at his lethal beauty which was completely unfair. Some wondered how they dare to stand next to a man of such calibre whose demeanor was overwhelmingly oppressive. This thankfully managed to deter them from approaching and could only etch from the side lines. He was too far from reach!!

However in the shadows three blocks away from Jason, two pairs of eyes kept following his each and every movement.

"Do you think we should show ourselves?" Mike was uncertain about this.

"Shupt up!!" Travis was already frustrated and aging what awaited them, he couldn't help but shudder in fear.

"He might have already noticed our presence." Mike stated the obvious.

"All thanks to you!!" he remarked sarcastically. This idiot of a brother was terrible at the art of concealment.

"Then why do we keep hiding?!" Mike innocently inquired. Why bother hiding when they had already been seen. They had come this far so what was the point of hidding? It was a futile attempt!!

"Shit!!!" Travis cursed as he dragged his brother to dive behind a dustbin when he noticed that Jason was going to look their way.

In the distance, Jason snapped to the direction where the twins were watching him from earlier and could only shake his head helplessly. Tired of hanging about, he made his way to the penthouse only to have the twins follow behind terrified with lowered heads. "Can't he just pretend to have not seen us." murmured Mike only to get a smack at the back of his head from Travis.

"If this goes south then am dragging you down with me." Travis whispered with conviction.

Getting into the elevator, Jason looked at the twins seething. This made them whimper and jump onto the elevator, their teeth chattering and breaking down in cold sweat that they squirmed to the corner and almost merged themselves with the elevator. It closed with a ding and up they went.

Jason decided to not say a word but it was clear that he was pissed beyond limits.Getting off the elevator, he made his way to the apartment door only to find another trouble awaiting him.

At his enterance, was Markus.

"Ehhh", Mike was bewildered "Even Markus is here!" He forgot to control his thoughts from leaving his mouth hence earning a cold glare from Jason.

"Markus!!" His stern voice startled the dozing dog that it jumped from its sleep only to meet a crooked face of its master.

'Here comes the scolding!' thought Markus. He was a German shepherd dog that grew up in the military along Jason's and the dark shadows' love and care. He was the docile type but a sweet bundle of trouble for the outsiders that most of the higher ups dared not go to the dark Shadow quarters for fear of this dog.

But facing his owner now, he got in his salute pose standing on all fours, tail stiff, expression stoic and still as steel....if any one was to see Markus now, they'd mistaken him for a soldier.

Jason's face was devoid of emotions though he was facing his most loved one "At ease soldier.", then the dog managed to relax and wag his tail happily for seeing his master once again. His unruly tongue hung from the side of his mouth as he panted looking at Jason with those big brown eyes expectantly. 'At least a welcome will do', Markus's expression said it all. 'I am a smart boy!' He was proud of himself.

But that not being the main point, how did these two idiots.....plus Markus manage to find him. Internally, he was swelling with pride but externally, he busting in flames.

Entering the codes to his penthouse, the door opened with a click and no one need be told what to do but get in and prepare for a few rounds of intense punishment. They'd never survive his wrath unscathed.

Taking a seat in the black posh leather two seater leisurely, Jason crossed his legs and lay back lazily and looked at his surbodinates with an unfanthomable gaze.

"How many more are you out there?" Jason asked.

Saluting Jason, "Good morning captain! Reporting to captain..it's only the three of us? Travis was unsure. Or maybe more were coming!!! He didn't know!!

"Well unfortunately my morning just got uglier with your presence. What was my command be fore I left?" his voice grew shades darker and got colder with every passing second as he narrowed his eyes coldy.

"To stay at base, Sir!!" the twins replied.

"Is my home the army base? Do you disregard me that my commands mean nothing?!! Happy that I can nolonger boss you around and you can do as you please!" Jason bombarded them with questions coldly.

"We are sorry captain!" they couldn't lower their heads any further or they were bound to break off. They regretted their actions but we're not really sorry, it's just that they felt they had let their captain down.

Travis felt so wronged that his eyes begin to sting with tears and his bottled up emotions slipped from his mouth. "I'm not sorry for being absent without leave, I never disregard your order captain but those old geezers are the one in wrong so why do you have to be expelled from the army? Why should I stay in such a corrupted environment and why should I serve under such monsters. I don't give a damn about that so called army, captain...just don't send me back there but even you are to do that, I won't go. I'll stay where you are. Dark Shadow begun with you and where you are is where it is." he let it all out without restraint.

" Get ready for your punishment" was all and Jason stood up to head to his bedroom.

" Thank you so much captain!!" they both said in unison.

Markus too barked his approval and showed gratitude.
