Necromancer General

Aizen having successfully finished his training made him happy.

Prophet Isaias went to meet him. His face has a worried look on it. With his cane, he approached him.

"I am in great joy to be finally freed. But my worries are still creeping into my mind. There is a necromancer general that fought Agares in the necromancer citadel. He let us here to escape but he sacrificed himself and fought the evils. Alas, he succeeded in letting us escape but it come with a price,"

"He became corrupted by Agares and our bravest general became one of his minions! I am saddened that he is once our greatest protector but is now an enemy. He is corrupting the other necromancers and making them allies of darkness,"

"I beseech you young one, end his sufferings and his sins. He has to end his corruption and be attuned to the light once more," Isaias said then coughed.

"I will take up your request," Aizen replied.

"And don't forget to approach Kerath. He will surely help you out with your mission," Isaias then ended his speech.

Aizen approached Kerath and then he was already waiting for him.

"Aizen, you already talked with Isaias? Good. Now, you have to kill the corrupted Necromancer general. He is my sworn friend in the past but he is a doer of evil now. You must end his sufferings. The necromancers said that he is corrupting several captives. Go to the Evil Den near the falls. I think that they are also my men. Rescue them and kill that wretched fellow. I will give you a skill book upon completing the task," Kerath then tapped his shoulders.

Aizen went towards the falls and there was a cave near it. As his map suggests. It was indeed the place.

The place resonated with evil miasma and there were no guards at all. Aizen entered the place and the entrance was grotesque. Dangled human carcasses were on the side of the entrance with torches lit. The place smelled rotten and it wafted his nose.

Aizen saw more corpses along the way and as well as bones with bits of flesh left sticking on them. Aizen observed some more and saw that they were in necromancer attires. Others were villagers and it sure bugged his mind.

As he headed deeper into the caverns, he heard chants from several people. The voices were getting louder and louder as he stepped further.

Aizen saw the source of the voices. It was a ritual!

Laid on the altar were the necromancers and they encircled it with several others. All were in cultist robes and had face paints on their faces.

There was a leader that had necromancer robes, 'The general!' Aizen gasped.

'It might not be too late and the corruption has to be stopped. They have to be saved!'

Aizen ran and threw daggers at them. Killing them in the process as they were hit on the head. Aizen saw that the general was pleased. Clapping his hands on the process.

"Did Kerath send you? Good. More to be converted!"

Aizen bit his lower lips. He immediately drew his sword and prepared for battle.

Shing!

The general grabbed his scythe and shield. Making him equipped for the battle.

[Ghost summoning]

A ghost was summoned and it attacked Roan.

[Phantasm]

A ghost of the general was summoned and it also attacked Roan.

To Aizen's surprise, they were all immune to physical damage. But only magical damage can dispel them! To Aizen's dismay, he was in a bind. Luckily, he has a magical attack currently. He immediately attacked with [Exploding souls] towards them.

Bang! Boom! Boom!

They were dispelled immediately.

"Good! Now my skeletons! Arise!" the general shouted.

[Summon skeleton footmen]

Skeletons soon arise with armor and shields with them. A more sturdy-looking than the militia. Fifty-plus all in all. Armed to the teeth.

Aizen retaliated.

Sprung forth were militias that were weaker than the footmen. The graveyard was summoned and it sprung forth the skeletons. Also, the skeleton warrior was ready for combat. Though Aizen knew that they would only stall time for him.

The two forces clashed and the militias were being pushed back. Making them disadvantaged in numbers and prowess.

Aizen dueled with the general and then they clashed.

[Reaping slash]

Aizen used the skill and the enemy also used his.

[Death scythe slash]

The general slashed with his weapon and their skills clashed.

Aizen slashed the shield of the enemy and it just sparked. The general slashed with his scythe and Aizen evaded with a sidestep. The slash was as close as a hair's breadth.

Aizen slashed him and the enemy blocked.

"Is that all?" the enemy intimidated.

[Homing soul skull]

The enemy launched his homing skill. Arthas used his skill [Bone armor] and [Bone shield]. He immediately slashed the skill and the skill exploded.

Boom!

Aizen was protected by the Bone shield in the process. Arthas was attacked by [Soul blast] in point blank range and Roan was hit.

Boom!

Aizen rolled several times and the enemy followed him. Slashing while laughing at him.

Aizen evaded the strikes and then backflipped while throwing his throwing daggers.

The enemy just shielded the attacks and Aizen landed on the ground. Aizen used [Ground bone spike] and the enemy sidestepped. Evading it in the process.

"Oh ho ho! You sneaky bastard, that won't work on me!" he laughed.

Aizen dashed and slashed nonstop. The enemy just blocked his attack and then he kicked the shield. Making the enemy stumble backward.

Aizen used the skill [Reaping slash] and the enemy rolled to the side. Nearly hitting him in the process.

Aizen hastily attacked and the enemy stood up. Clashing their blades in the process. Arthas attacked with both of his swords and the enemy has trouble coping. Making him attack faster and faster.

'Necromancers are weak in combat. But this fellow is a master in combating enemies!' the enemy bellowed inside his mind.

Aizen was fired with [Exploding souls] and he evaded them nonchalantly. The skeletons then attacked him and Aizen used [Chained scythe] at them. Also using [Exploding souls] at them. Making their numbers diminish slowly.

"So long! Hahaha!" the general bellowed.

The enemy then started to flee from battle. Making Arthas click his tongue, "We aren't finished yet!"

The enemy summoned skeletons along the way and he was greatly agitated by them. Evading their attacks and chased after him. Slashing some along the way and then bashing them with his unarmed combat. Dashing in zigzag then slashing with a rising slash.

Swoosh!

The enemy was slashed in the chest. Blood spurted out from his wound.

"Ugh! You will still be defeated someday. The Greater evils are on the move! Hahaha! Death will abound!" he said then he vomited blood. He then stumbled on the ground limply.

Immediately, miasma came out of his body and he glowed brightly before turning to specks of glowing dust.

"Rest in peace," Aizen muttered.

Afterwards, a skill book was seen on the ground. Aizen picked it up and it was indeed a skill book.

It was called "Skill book: Glare".

"Wow! It was indeed a glare skill!"

Aizen saw the captives of the necromancer general inside the cells. Aizen destroyed the locks and set them free. Further thanking him as they were rescued.

A town portal scroll was used and they all went inside. Aizen arrived at the camp and they all rested. More necromancers were added to the camp. They were getting numerous as they were slowly added to their numbers

Kerath approached Aizen and thanked him.

"Thank you so much for rescuing them. I am indebted to you and their lives were saved thanks to you. I will give you a skill book as promised,"

Kerath thanked him and gave him a skill book as a reward.

It was a "Skill book: Silence".
