CHAPTER 31: EMBARRASSING

Amna was taking a shower in Shahmeer's washroom, enjoying the warm water cascading down her body, when her feet slipped on the wet floor. She let out a loud "Ahhh!" as she fell, her hands and legs splayed out in all directions.

Shahmeer, who was in his bedroom, rushed to the washroom upon hearing the commotion. He flung open the door and found Amna lying on the floor, her face flushed with embarrassment.

"Amna! Oh my God, are you okay?" Shahmeer exclaimed, rushing to her side.

Amna's eyes widened in horror as she realized she was lying there naked, her hair wet and tangled. She let out a mortified scream.

"Shahmeer, get out! I'm naked!" she cried, trying to cover herself with her hands.

But Shahmeer couldn't just leave her there. He gently lifted her into his arms, cradling her like a child.

"Amna, don't worry, I've got you. You're safe now," he whispered, his breath tickling her ear.

Amna's face burned with blush as she tried to push him away.

"Shahmeer, put me down! I can walk!" she protested, her voice weak.

But Shahmeer just smiled and carried her out of the washroom, into his bedroom.

"Amna, you're shaking like a leaf. Let me get you some clothes," he said, setting her down on his bed.

Amna's eyes met his, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Shahmeer's heart raced as he felt a sudden jolt of electricity run through his body.

"Shahmeer...thank you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Shahmeer smiled and handed her a towel to wrap around herself.

"Anytime, Amna. Now, get dressed and let's get you home," he said, his voice low and soothing.

Amna quickly wrapped the towel around herself and stood up, her face still flushed with embarrassment.

"Shahmeer...I'm so sorry. This is so humiliating," she whispered, her eyes welling up with tears.

Shahmeer's heart melted at the sight of her tears. He gently took her hand and led her out of his apartment.

"Amna, don't apologize,I'll always be there for you. Now, let's get you home safe," he said, his voice filled with kindness.

As they reached the elevator, Amna suddenly pulled her hand away and ran out of the building, leaving Shahmeer standing there, confused and concerned.

"Amna, wait!" he called out, but she was already gone, disappearing into the night.

Shahmeer sighed and rubbed his forehead, wondering what had just happened. He couldn't shake off the feeling that had just taken a romantic turn, and he was left wanting more.

As Amna ran away to her apartment, she couldn't help but think about the way Shahmeer's eyes had locked onto hers, the way his touch had made her feel safe and protected. She knew she had to confront her feelings, but for now, she just wanted to escape the embarrassment and confusion that had taken over her heart.

The chapter ends with Amna running away to her apartment, her heart racing with emotions she can't quite explain, while Shahmeer is left standing alone, wondering what just happened.
