CHAPTER 26: ANOTHER PROBLEM

Amna tried to reason with the customer, her voice calm and soothing. "Sir, please, let's talk about this. I'm here to help you."

But the customer was beyond reasoning. His face twisted in anger, he lunged at Amna, his fist clenched. "You're the one who's been messing with my account! You're the one who's ruined my business!"

Amna tried to step back, but it was too late. The customer's fist connected with her hand, sending a sharp pain shooting through her wrist. She cried out, more in surprise than pain.

Shahmeer appeared out of nowhere, his eyes blazing with anger. "What do you think you're doing?" he growled, his voice low and menacing.

The customer took a step back, his eyes widening in fear. "Who are you?" he stammered.

"I am the boss," Shahmeer replied, his voice cold and authoritative. "And you're going to pay for what you've done."

Amna intervened, her hand throbbing in pain. "Shahmeer, no, please. Let me handle this."

Shahmeer's eyes flashed with anger, but he nodded, his jaw clenched.

Amna turned to the customer, her voice firm but calm. "Sir, I understand you're upset, but violence is not the answer. Please, tell me what's going on. What's happened with your account?"

The customer's anger seemed to dissipate, replaced by a look of desperation. "My account was hacked. Someone's been stealing my money. And your company did nothing to stop it!"

Amna's eyes widened in shock. "I'm so sorry, sir. That must have been terrifying. But I assure you, we'll do everything we can to help you."

The customer's eyes narrowed. "You'd better. Or I'll make sure everyone knows about the incompetence of this company."

Amna nodded, her mind racing with possibilities. She knew she had to get to the bottom of this, not just for the customer, but for her own reputation. Little did she know, this was just the beginning of a much larger problem.
