The Loner - The 6th Guardian "Scutum"

Kill every monster you see "Wolf", Den said.

Den eyes were filled with darkness as if he was totally another person, his aura overwhelmed every monsters in that building to the extent that every goblins and monsters felt his thirst, and eventually terrified by him.

Goblin King: Queen? No... But I am sure that is her aura and what is the darkness wrapping around hers. I only have this vessel for now and my original body can be only recovered with Queen power, I feel uneasy, with this vessel, my combat power is gradually reduced. My Queen.... where are you?

System message: "You've killed mini goblin(D)" "You've killed Homo Goblin(C+)" "You've killed Goblin Shaman(B)", "You've killed....." "You've killed....."

Den killed every monsters he saw in the building and his summoned shadow servant as well gradually getting stronger by killing goblins as well.

Den: There is no monster on this floor, I guess. Now, only a couple of floors left before reaching the ground floor. But, I felt the presence of some strong one down there. His eyes suddenly changed, "Red Crimson", "Well, let's see, who is stronger,?"

Den: Damn, it had only been a couple of min, but the lower levels became a mess.

The floors near to the ground level became a nightmare to the normal humans, the rooms are covered in blood, the floor as well. A lot of corpses are lying on the floor here and there. When a normal humans see this tragedy, he or she would have traumatized for entire life, but not for Den. He barely felt any emotions and his heart was as cold as ice when seeing this scene.

When Den was walking down the lower floor, a bunch of high leveled goblins were collecting the corpses for various purpose, for them, human were a valuable resources and luxury products as human considered to our animals. They were finding any alive human especially females to bring back to their base or set up one in this building.

They saw Den walking towards them, and as soon as they saw, the homo goblins became to prepared for battle but they didn't think Den as a threat because of his appearance while their shaman ran away as soon as he saw Den. There were around 30 homo goblins heavily armed and and there was also a goblin champion(B), with a few nurse corpses in his hands.

Goblin Champion(B): Human? Food?

The homo goblins approached Den with a smile on their face, but their face suddenly changed after seeing Den, he showed no emotions unlike any others, "Wolf"

"GO"

The goblins didn't even know what had happened as their heads flew into the sky, The goblin champions dropped the corpses and charged towards Den with his hammer, he was quite big and tall, nearly an orc size but although his strength is on par with Goblin King, he was nothing in front of Den. In a matter of a sec, Den punched him in the face with bare hands and apparently his strength increased after killing a lot of goblins,

Title - "Goblin's Nightmare" <The title given to the people who killed a considerable amount of goblin, from the records, only one achieved such title in the past, "Goblin Slayer" named young man who mainly terminated goblins with a huge grudge. ><Make any kind of goblin scared of his existence and add 20% damage to goblin race?>

The goblin champion flew away but he didn't die from that, his body was well made out of tough muscle and on top of it, with an armor.

The goblin champion: Human, Strong! Scary! No fight.

He ran away as soon as he got up, but couldn't escape from the hand of Den, "Where are you going? Didn't you have fun with killing my fellow humans as much as you want to the extent like collecting corpses?" Den suddenly showed up by the side of him, and again kicked him in the face, making him blown away to the wall of the building, but no matter how much he punches, he couldn't penetrate his armor, "I give up, no fight. Human, Strong". Goblin champions were brutally strong but with low intelligence level and apparently they were also a native species from the other dimensions.

The head of the goblin champions became hot as hell, and his body became that of a bomb, and eventually his body exploded like a bomb in the hand of Den. "Booooooommmmmmm"

Goblin King: Useless! So that is the human with a strong aura.

Den emerged from the smoke with no injury and his eyes were scary as hell, with a huge shadow creature beside him.

Den: Humn, seem like I can't level up because I am not a player. Well, it did increase my status though, let's see.

Den killed every monsters all the way to the ground floor, although the monsters were all high level monsters, Den easily killed them. But there is one survivor covered in blood, his chest was penetrated and he had already lost a lot of blood but because of his skill as a healer, he didn't die.

"Ah, my body feels cold, I am losing a lot of blood, shit... I told them something was wrong, I wonder Lili is safe, I can't move at all. My healing abilities are not quick enough cause they are only Rank D, who is that guy? He killed all goblins easily, Rank (A) hunter? or S? Ah.... Den eventually reached the ground floor and he passed the medical room not knowing there was lili hiding inside that room.

Lili: "Why is this happening? I am so scare, what if I am going to die right here, right now. I have a lot of thing, I need to try" "Wait, footsteps, Goblins?" "Sh*T, I don't want to die".

Sound of someone speaking: "Became my servant" "Go scout ahead"

Lili: "Human's sound" "No way" "Hunter" "Even Rank(B) hunter was killed by goblins" "Rank(A) hunter, that quick?" She took a peek from the door and indeed it was Den but she couldn't see clearly who it was, as the door was covered in blood and thus can't quite see clearly." "Wait, why is that person in patient uniform, and what is with the scary looking creatures besides him?"

Den: "Strange. I feel no hostility here, maybe I killed all goblins in this area?" "Where is the crack? I searched everywhere, let's go to the parking area, that is the only place, we haven't check." I felt something strong there. Let's used this goblin corpse here to scout. "Became my servant", "Go scout ahead".

Finally, Lili breathed in deep breath and opened the door slowly but she didn't see anyone, as Den was long gone to the parking area.

Den finally reached the entrance of the parking area, the blood smell coming from the parking area was no match from the upper floor, as soon as Den entered the area, he saw piles of corpses in front of him.

"You are here, Human", "I can see you are quite strong one", the goblin king spoke to Den while sitting in the middle of the corpse pile.

Goblin King: "I originally come here to find for my queen but didn't except that there are strong warriors in this weak species"

Den: "Cut the crap. You've killed a lot here, and this ends right now after I cut you head off your body"

Silver moon wolf and shadow goblin fought with other goblins while Den fought towards the king, the king was quite strong and it was pretty annoying because the goblin king can use magic.

Goblin King: "Hell fire", "Dead charm", "Corpse explosion", "Life Drain", "Fire ball", "Lightening spear"

Although the goblin king used everything skill he had, he couldn't slow down Den who was also using a lot counter skills. And Den was very fast as he was using Speed boost and Drain to recover stamina and deal the damage at the same time.

Eventually, the goblin king was overwhelmed by Den's strength and Den successfully cut off both of his arms from the body, "Impossible" Goblin King said as his head was cut off and flew into the air.

Den assumed goblin king was dead and checked his status. But it was wrong.

"I never thought of that weak human could defeat me, I need to find the queen so I can't die yet. Even though this skill was granted to me by the queen, i have to use it. This human is quite strong."

"Soul Stare"

Soul stare(S)- a high skill that can stare at a living soul, it is parasitic and can steal a soul weaker than a user. A taboo skill prohibited by the entities because simply they can't control anyone who has that skill.

"Scutum" - I can't see anything, what is inside his space.

<author> Hi, author here. The goblin King is just a host for the scutum(XENO) race parasites and scutum was actually one of the war general of the queen as well as the sixth guardian protecting the queen, after they had lost the war against the monsters and entities race, their bodies destroyed and lost their queen. That's why they are scattered and looking for their queen, to server under her command again. They are very powerful and each one of them can wide out a city in a blink of a eye and possibly an entire country.

While Scutum was roaming inside the Den soul, Den was unconscious because of the skill (Soul Stare),

While there is nothing inside Den space, suddenly scutum was crushed by the aura, "What is that?"

There is a soul standing in front of Scutum, it is a Den soul, and behind him, there is an enormous being with the size hundred times larger than the sun, the Queen(XENO) is staring at him.

Scutum - "The Queen?" "Why is the queen with this human?" "What is this human?" "Wait, I know Queen aura very well, this is not only aura of a queen, something unfamiliar, as he realized, behind the queen, there is a enormous space filled with countless galaxies, stars and suns. "What is that?" "The unknown aura was very coming from that?" "Suddenly an eye opened from there." "The darkness Entity" "Chaos".

And it suddenly disappeared again.

Queen: "Scutum"(echoing voice), This human is my successor and I decided to plant my seed inside his soul, protect his human and from now on, he will become the King of XENO. Serve him well and find the rest of the guardian to stop this doing of entities race. Find other fragments of me and grow the king well. When the time comes, I need to reborn with a strong host.

Scutum- as your wish, Queen.

The queen slowly fade away, and finally Den in front of the queen gain consciousness again. "Where am I?" "What happened?" Before Den couldn't do anything, Scutum knelt before him.

"My King: This servant name is called Scutum and I am ready to serve my king."

Den: Huh? Didn't I kill you before?

Scutum: My King, it was just a vessel of mine, forgive me for not realizing you as the King of XENO, from now on, I will devote my life for you, my King.

Den: Hard to believe this. But what can you give me in return? huh? Or I will just kill you again here?

Scutum: What do you wish for my king?

Den: (hesitated) .... Strength.

Sword Saint: "Strange there is no monster left, maybe they went back into their original dimension through the crack, normally monster don't do that, but if there is a high level monster like this, it can possibly happen."

Back ground noises: "Search for survivors", "Anyone here?" "Oh god" "I don't dare to be in their places", "What monster might have cause this tragedy?" "There is one alive here? He is unconscious." "There is also one alive here, he is injured, apparently a registered Rank D healer of "Wolf Claw". "Sir, there is one girl in this room" "There are also more survivors on the top floor". ....

Anna: Hi, have you gained consciousness, Den?

Anna was the one who cared Den while he was unconscious for the past week, and she somehow feel grateful to Den because he saved their lives after all although she didn't know how he did it.

Anna: We are in the Hunter's Hospital right now. The hunter association took us in as a form of apology because of the late rescue and only a few survived in that outbreak. It is great right? Staying in the Hunter's hospital with no charges, I heard it is very expensive and the doctors are also all healer from the famous guilds, as well as they used dungeons medicines, products and potions to heal the patients here.

Den was silence.

Anna secretly took a peek to his clueless face and she was blushing with her face red like a ripe peach.

Anna: Den. Listen. Thank you for saving me. As a thank, I want to treat you a ...

Den: Who are you? Where am I? Why are you calling me Den? Wait, Who am I?

Anna: What?..... You are joking right?

Looking at Den seriously clueless face, and his cold eyes, Anna whispered while covering her mouth with her hand, "Oh god....."
