The Loner - Lets the Hunt Begins

Den was in the meeting room at the middle floor of the hospital, it was about 7.pm at night and the nurses and doctors were about to change their shift, but Anna stayed with patients and she didn't dismiss her shift as she was busying with caring ill patients and explaining everything that Den asked.

Anna was so patient and had a warm personality, she knew the Den was strange or special compared to other patients because unlike others, Den didn't show emotions everything he said something or did something, he looked like he was in deep thoughts all the time with eyes as deep and dark as the abyss. She really enjoyed her job as a nurse or a caretaker so she decided to stay behind that day.

The group of doctors and nurses, who are going to dismiss, were chatting inside the elevators.

Boys: Hey how about having a dinner all together at the nearby BBQ restaurants, today's is all on me, how about that? Our pretty nurse-nims? Wanna join?

They were chattering as their elevator went down to the parking lot, (machine sounds)... suddenly the electricity went off and they were in total darkness.

The elevator stopped and couldn't go down any further, they opened the elevator and decided to walked from the stairs, but the lights were gone all over the hospitals, because of the power cut. They talked and chatted along the way so they didn't much notice about what was happening at that time.

He stopped the girls from going any further but they were almost at the parking level, under ground level, one of the boys noticed something was wrong but he didn't really have proof to show?

Other boys: Again? bro? Enough with the old tricks, you already have a girlfriend right? Don't try to scare the girls, they might be really scare of darkness. Well, if you really scare, I don't mind holding hands, right?

The boys didn't care much about his warning and kept moving to the parking area, only Lili as well as two girls slowed down with him, after hearing his warning and other girls went along with the boys. They groups slipped into two and the distance between them, kept getting farther and farther.

Lili: Why do you stop us? Are you sure that you heard something?

The boy: I am 100% sure, I used to be a D Ranked Hunter, well, but I am a healer without any combat ability, and my skill (Cure Wounds)(D-) can only useful against treating cut wounds and flesh injuries nothing more. But I have a bad feelings about this.

They went slowly with their flesh light on, but at the entrance of the door, they saw their friends standing without moving a inch and one of them was waving at them, the other hand pointing to the parking lot as if he was telling them, there was no problem at all. But they didn't speak anything. Because of the darkness and being in the corner, Lili group couldn't really see them beside their doctor and nurse uniforms.

Two girls: Ok, there they are. I know there is nothing going on, it is just a power cut.

When the two girls prepared to go after them, the boy suddenly grasped their hands, shaking his head. His became to sweat, as he quietly told them, "Let me go, then I will call for you guys.".

He slowly moved to them, his heart beats were so fast that he could hear his own heart beat.

"I am only a Rank D Hunter and also healer job at that. If something happen, I won't be able to protect myself and the others. Should I just run away? No, no be a man, Adam, you used to be a hunter, right?" (Thinking in his head)

"What? What is this smell? Is smell like B.L.O.O.D.... suddenly the people standing in front of him, fell on the ground like a puppet, being cut loose from its string, their heads were gone, like being cut like a headless chicken." He knew that as soon as he found them, he turned back as quickly as he could, screaming "Run" "RUN....." "RUN...". As soon as he turned back, he was slashed by the sword of one of the homo-goblins. "Ah..." (he screamed)

The girls also heard that voice and they started to run backward as quickly as they could, but it was too late, because they was a homo goblin in their way, with a short knife in his hands, his eyes were green and he stared at them as if he was looking at his dinner. He broke one of the girl's leg down and he slashed the other's arm with his short knife, both two girls couldn't run as his knife was covered in paralyze poison. Only lili escaped and she was hiding in the nearby medical room, she was trembling, as she witnessed her friends dying and screaming right in front of her eyes, she breathed heavily and as she heard the voice of the homo goblins, she shut her mouth tight with her hands, her legs became to tremble, shaking uncontrollably.

For the Den side, the electricity suddenly cut off and all the hospital rooms were filled with darkness, Den immediately knew that something was wrong, Den told Anna to get help from the phone,

"We are attacked? is that crack? The electricity suddenly went off and that must be their doing? "Concentrated, Den!" after concentration levelled up to level 2, Den can predict what happened to the nearby surrounding as his senses were enhanced greatly unlike players, "Most of the people from the lower floor were already killed?" "Already", "If it is crack then, they should be low leveled monsters, "What are they?"...."I should check this out myself, I can't let other people die unnecessarily, after all, I owned them and this hospital for keeping me for the past 2 years."

Den silently slipped out of the chaos, and went down to the stares, before he came down, he told Anna to make sure no one get out of this floor to the lower level and wait for rescue.
