New fanfic out

New fanfic out reborn in warhammer.

She fixes her sword on the ground as she raises one hand. It seems that she also wishes to signal the beginning of the melee. A handicap that my sister and I can exploit, hopefully.

My sister and I look at each other. We nod at each other. A plan wordlessly passed between us.

Her hand falls down, and my sister leaps forward. Enhancing her leap with the power of the immaterium. She swings her axe, hoping to get a hit.

The Tzarina does not move, nor does she pick up her sword. She just moves one hand forward into the path of the axe. As it connects, a large twang sound rings out. Her hand was covered in frost. She blocked the axe with just her hand.

I was not doing anything while this interaction was taking place.

I had moved and was in the process of circling around her.

One of my hands is raised. I will the fire deep within myself. I let it flow from deep within me to perform an attack. Pointing a hand at Katarin. I throw a few fireballs at her. She does not move with a simple tap of her magic staff. An ice wall is created, which blocks all of my attacks.

I lost all vision of her for a moment.

No, I tapped on the ground with force. Enhanced by the surging power of the flames within me. In a moment, I was at the ice wall. Coating my hand with flames, I punched out. The ice wall broke. No, it dissipated. My touch still had that same nullifying effect.

I saw my sister. She let go of the axe that was held and was using her second axe to aim a blow at Tzarina Katarin. I throw my flames at her axe in an attempt to enhance their potency. Katarin will not be able to use magic to stop the axe this time.

While I had enhanced my sister's weapon with one hand. I form a fist with the other hand. Flames are dancing around my arm as I punched out.

All of this had happened in a moment.

And yet, as we both are both to strike a blow. We both are thrown back as a wave of energy originating from Katarin explodes out. I using my flames, maneuver myself to land on my feet. I look towards my sister and see her getting up as well.

We both looked at Tzarina Katarin. The place she was at before was covered by smoke. She steps out of the smoke, a smile on her face. Her sword in her hand. Her eyes shining blue, her magic forming a crown on her head. Her dignity as a ruler is on full display.

"Is that all? I thought that you both could do more. Don't tell me that the legends that I heard about within the capital amount to just this much."

My sister's axe was levitating by her side. It's thrown at my sister, who catches it. She gets into her stance once more as I prepare myself as well. Calling the flames from deep within me. The ground around me starts to crack a little. I take a deep breath and let out a flame breath at her. The ground where the flame passes through is scorched as the flames head toward the Tzarin.

With giant leaps, my sister circles around the Tzarina to find a blind spot to strike her from. All she does is raise her staff, and a shield is formed, which stops my flame breath. However, my flames also have a nullifying effect on the immaterium. The effect is greatest if I can be in physical contact.

Her shield starts to crack. That was until ice began to emit from her staff. The cracks in the shield disappear, with her shield turning icy blue in color.

My sister attacks her as she turns around and uses her sword to stop one of her axes.

Seeing this as my chance, I appear in front of her shield in a burst of flames. I punch out, and her shield is destroyed. My sister uses her second axe to aim a blow towards her ribs.

I use this chance to form a longsword out of my flames. It is only a magical construct made up of flames, but it shall be enough. She cannot react to me, and my sword goes through her stomach. My sister's axe also goes through her chest.

We won. That was our thought until the Tzarina turned into an ice sculpture. Soon, that, too, shatters.
