Stealing Canis Lyacon(Rewrite)

When they got back to Grigori, Azazel instantly called them to his lab where they laid Tobio on the couch. Azazel looked the boy over and nodded as it was Tobio.

"Yup. No doubt about it. He has a sacred gear and as for which one I don't know. Akeno, if you would."

She nodded and snapped her finger waking him up. Tobio jumped up yelling and reached out grabbing Kurayami's hand who was standing over him.

"SAE!"

When he saw it was not Sae and a man he let go of her hand and apologized.

"I am sorry."

Kurayami felt that was weirdly amusing. 

"Don't just wake up screaming kid."

Tobio looked around and when he saw Azazel he shook his head. He recognized him from all those years ago.

"I wasn't hallucinating?"

Azazel nodded.

"Yup. I am not an allusion or a dream. You saw me that day and now you are here for your safety. Welcome to my humble lab, by the way, I already took your kidney." 

Tobio lifted his shirt and saw he was fine. Azazel was trying to get him to get focused and what better way than to scare him? Tobio remembered how his friend had a blank look and controlled that lizard. Azazel suddenly called out.

"MILTELT! Come here."

When she ran in she bowed politely. 

"How can I help you?"

"Call Natsume." 

Miltelt ran out and went to get Natsume. Tobio asked the question he needed to know.

"You two said you were my cousins and that my granny was from a Himejima clan right?"

Kurayami nodded.

"Exactly. The Himejima clan is where we all originate from as we have relatives who were exiled. Your grandmother and our mother are some of the exiled members who later had us or in your case your Mother."

Tobio held his head as his granny was always special to him and she was a magic user.

Akeno took over the explanation from Kurayami. 

"The lizard you saw earlier was a Utsusemi, an artificial independent avatar sacred gear. Sacred Gears are weapons made by the God of the bible. My brother's flames are the result of one. As for us personally, we are Fallen angels explaining the black wings. My question is who is Sae?"

Tobio looked down and pulled a picture of her.

"My friend. She wanted me to go on the trip, but I got sick just before it. What about her?"

Raynare spoke up.

"Your sacred gear got you sick to protect you. What you need to know is that the Utsusemi Agency won't stop until they get you and the Four Fiends."

They explained what the four fiends were, and the reason they were after him. What Grigori was and why the students were kidnapped. They also told him that it was impossible to remove in any way, usually.

Tobio gulped his saliva and asked what he needed to know.

"Can Utsusemi be healed or fixed?"

Azazel sat in his chair and nodded.

"I can guarantee it. As long as we stop who did it and I know who did it? It was done by a former member of Grigori and I am sorry about that."

Tobio was enraged at hearing that. 

"Who?"

Kurayami turned to Azazel. 

"Satanael?"

Azazel nodded.

"I knew he was planning something, but I didn't know what. He took the Abyss Team with him."

From the door, Natsume entered with Griffon who flew to Kurayami's arm. Natsume finally decided.

"I decided to join as I don't get many choices. You said that I need to train to control Griffon?"

Azazel nodded.

"While it looks small and cute it is a deadly creature that brings misfortune and is sealed in a sacred gear for a reason As it is an independent avatar it will always be with you. Tobio take this egg."

Azazel got one of the white eggs and Tobio took it in his hands, but nothing happened. Natsume expected something to pop out of it, but nothing.

"Is it delayed?"

Azazel shook his head and looked at Tobio all over. He scanned Tobio with a device and the device nearly broke. Azazel grinned and looked at Esdeath and Kurayami.

"He has a Longinus. What are the chances for two Longinus users to appear from the Himejima who hate sacred gears? Those fools could have had two, but no. Idiots."

Kurayami had an idea. 

"Hey, don't move." 

Tobio was confused, as Kurayami placed his hand on Tobio's shoulder. 

"Brace yourselves." 

From his body, the full weight of his mana and killing intent fell on Tobio. In Tobio's eyes, Kurayami looked like death incarnate and oppression shook him to the core. Azazel grit his teeth while Natsume fell to her knees. Akeno stayed standing by protecting herself with a mana barrier.

Raynare and Esdeath looked at him with awe as they endured just based on their will as a challenge for themselves. Ares teleported into the lab as he knew Kurayami was up to something. 

When he arrived he was all smiles as he knew what that was. Only someone who had a truly messed up upbringing or a dedicated warriors could have that.

"Kurayami. You don't just have killing intent, you have full-blown Slaughter Intent and the number of people who have had that can be counted on one of my hands."

From Tobio's chest popped out a small black puppy and the moment it was out Kurayami stopped and looked at Ares.

"Slaughter Intent. What can it do?"

Ares grinned.

 "Check this out."

Suddenly a red aura covered Ares and slashes cut into the lab. 

"Remember when you and I clashed with our wills. That was our intent clashing and manifesting. Slaughter Intent is the more refined version of that. Those who can use it don't even have to raise a blade to fight. If I had gone all out I could have taken your head, but I am glad I didn't.

Azrael is one of the people who can use slaughter intent, another one is Odin, Crom Cruach, and me. Now you. I should teach you how to refine it as you just have the unrefined version." 

"Please do."

Tobio was drenched in sweat and he was looking at the small puppy on his lap who was looking right at him. Lavinia tried to pet him and unlike Aurora the small dog let him. Tobio ran to the trash can and hurled. 

Kurayami did not look at him as he looked at the dog who was looking at everyone. He took the small dog from Lavinia's hands which made her look like she would cry. Kuroka looked at it and thought it was cute.

"So what are you and what can you do Nya."

Kurayami looked at the dog in his hands which began to whine and bark. All the while Kurayami nodded. He looked up to translate.

"Good news news."

Tobio looked over and asked.

"Bad news."

He hurled after and Kurayami told him.

"He hates you and your grandmother. He is pissed for being sealed away for your entire life." 

They all felt that was understandable except Tobio. 

"Good news?"

Kurayami held him forward and he gloated about him.

"This little pup is Canis Lycaon. The blade that kills gods."

Azazel began to laugh which broke out into a mad cackle.

"What do you know? Seems like the Himejima clan is just one big mix of talents. Well, this is good, so Tobio after hearing all that what will you do now? Your sacred gear will make you a target for elimination if you don't join us as Longinus users are all seen as threats. Especially you as your sacred gear was made from a weapon that killed a god."

Tobio was horrified and questioned about it.

"Wait. You mean that small dog killed a god?"

Kurayami shook his head.

"No. Not the dog. It was made of two items. One of them was the King of Arcadia, Lycaon who pissed off Zeus and turned him into the first werewolf. Along with Ame-no-Ohabari, a divine sword that was used to kill Hinokagutsuchi, a god. As a result, this pup came to be."

*Bark*.

Tobio was beyond shock and he panicked at the responsibility that entailed. 

"No. I can't do it. I can't do this." 

Ares scoffed at how weak his will was.

"How shameful. I expected more from a Longinous user. You are nothing like Kurayami." 

 Kurayami was pleased as he already claimed him in his heart. No one could keep him from his prize as his very being called out to Canis Lyacon. His very soul called out to Canis' and Canis called out to him

"Well if you hate him that much, just give him to me. I will take him from you."

Tobio looked at him and asked.

"Can you remove him?"

Kurayami was not sure, but he had an idea.

"Under normal situations, you would die the moment it was taken from you. but not in this case. As Shin here, my name for him is a separate avatar and Azrael can keep death from claiming you, it will be fine."

Tobio looked at the little dog and this was too much for him. The small pup looked at him with squinted eyes as he was still mad at being sealed. He was awake the entire time and kept within Tobio by his grandmother. Who he hated with his very being. 

He was willing to serve Kurayami instead as he could feel Kurayami would not lock him away or dispose of him. 

"Wait. What about Sae? What will happen to the students if you take him?"

Kurayami explained what he would do.

"We will get them back and fix them, but are you sure? This is a power that will make you one of the strongest beings around. You could gain riches and authority."

'Say no, say no, say no. I demand you to say no.'

Tobio thought long and hard, but he was just a normal person. He nodded and Kurayami called Azrael. When he arrived he looked at the dog in Kurayami's arms and knew what he wanted.

"Let me guess. The boy does not want him and you need me to keep him from dying?"

Kurayami nodded and Azrael looked at Tobio all over and asked.

"You ok losing such a blessing? This is a gift boy. One made my God himself. One for you to change the world."

Tobio nodded.

"I can feel his hatred for me. We can't get along it seems. I am sorry." 

Azrael touched his forehead and made him pass out.

"Boy, help me here."

Kurayami walked over and placed a hand on Tobio's head. By using his Mana he began to nurture Tobio's soul and body. As for Azrael, Dense Death Energy wrapped all over Tobio and suddenly Shin felt his connection to Tobio begin to weaken. 

With help from Kurayami, the damage to Tobio's soul would be minimal, but not stopped. At that moment Kurayami and Shin began to focus on each other. They both reached out with their souls as they felt the call to each other. 

The other had something they needed, but once the soul bond was formed Kurayami was suddenly overwhelmed. It caused him to fall to his knees as he felt Incinerate Anthem and Canis Lyacon interact. As they were the same type it was easier as his soul was much stronger than any other.

He grit his teeth as his soul was flooded with power from Canis. Canis felt the same as the power of Kurayami's soul surged into his body. Azazel flinched as while possible, most never get two sacred gears as it could kill you.

This was not just another sacred gear, it was a literal Longinus. Two would place a strain on the soul so great only someone mad or with a soul beyond durable could do that.

Kurayami himself knew very well that his soul was his most powerful asset. It took the power of Canis Lyacon and Incinerate Anthem and forced them to fuse. Everyone worried for him especially the girls who rushed to his sides.

They supported him as this was the worst pain he ever went through. What Harold did to him could not even compare, yet Kuraymi was not planning to die. Not by a long shot.

Black Blood dripped from his eyes as he stood up from the ground. Behind him formed a giant burning cross that shrunk and became a collar around Shin who now had a little cross hanging from his neck.

The collar turned solid as the cross hung from Shin's neck like a name tag. Kurayami felt his connection to Shin grow solid while Shin felt great power course through his being.

At that moment, the power of Canis Lyacon and Incinerate Anthem began to fuse. This was devoured by his soul and body alongside his familiars. Each one began to undergo a blessing under Kurayami's success.

As for Tobio, thanks to both of them he was stable. They both worked together to begin to mend any injuries that Tobio received in the process. Once the process stabilized, he could feel the difference. 

Rebellion and Submission both were beginning to evolve using the power contained in Canis Lycaon The god-killing effect as well as the robbed Divinity of the god that had been killed. 

He would need to take time to understand what powers he would get, but the most affected as Akeno. She felt everything he did and it was not a pleasant experience. 

Esdeath was holding him up from his right side and looked up at him with some worry in her gaze.

"Be more careful and take less risk. Even you can die." 

Raynare nodded.

"She is right. Power should always be something you live to achieve. Not die to get. On another note, you are like me kind of with more Sacred Gears. I still need two more of my sacred gears. Right, Vritra?"

From her emerged Vritra who looked Kurayami over and nodded.

"My host is right, when I am whole we will grow further in power. Raynare is not one to give up. She will stop at nothing until you are at her knees."

Akeno frowned as her brother and her friends had Sacred Gears. She felt the pressure to have one of her own. Regardless, at that moment Tobio woke up and felt a bit lost. That was to be expected as he lost a part of his soul in that event.

A sacred gear is part of the user's soul and that feeling was that he just lost a chunk. Thanks to Azrael and Kurayami most of the damage was healed and stabilized so he needed more time to relax.

Though, Azrael played one last trick on Tobio to keep him alive. He used his ritual and turned him into a Fallen Angel. The effect was much calmer than with Esdeath as unlike her he was quite weak. 

"Well I saved your life, but you are not human anymore. I had to turn you into a Fallen Angel, but you lost Canis Lycon. How do you feel?"

Tobio's back extended a pair of wings as it depended on the power of the user. While he lost, Canis Lycon's, his shadow ability was still very strong. Tobio was shocked that he was not human and felt a headache come. They, never intended to let him leave.

Kurayami also never intended to leave him with Shin as both of them called out to each other. It was for the best for all involved.
