Its a Decent Read. At Least upto chapter 300, before the College Ark. Everything upto there showed a lot of promise with Stat Upgrades, Dungeon Raiding, Tamed/Faction Army and Rune Discovery. Except that stops completely at the College Ark, or just dies down to small momentas. However, the author also created a Soyboy MC who just questions his every action and mistake. Makes you wanna still love the story despite the hate for the MC but sometimes the Author just drops the Main Plot for some side plot. The Main story and objective gets De-Railed because of a side Plot. This can be frustrating thing as a reader. The Main thing I liked about the Story is Rune Magic and Stat farming but that has been awfully little content of that, than I would like... at least at the chapter 300+ so far. Well, im upto chapter 320/330, and the Book is alright. Nothing that stood out, since the MC is hard to relate with all his questionable decisions. The World building is Good at least, there is hope there. . . If you're like Me who prefers a Headstrong MC thats not suffering from Superman Syndrome, this book ain't it. MC Just wants people to love him, despite having the potential to be OP, and he loves saving people (which is fine, except when they don't deserve it at times). The Biggest personal downside for me was the Plot Armor this MC has... its saved him multiple times. However, it often makes you hope the MC would learn from his conflicts instead, yet a Plot Armor saving him reduces the chances of that. In conclusion, its a 5 star Book out 10. Author is clearly a English Speaker/writer and writes well, he also loves his Side characters and rarely let's them die... if ever. It's just a conflict as a reader who enjoyed the setting and Rune Magic but got annoyed by the MC antics and the Plot Armor appearance. Offcourse, the de-railing of the main plot is another factor for the lower rating. Thank for Reading this far, honestly.
I myself am not a fan of stories that are similar to how Awespec writes, and by that I mean, writing an MC in such a fashion that it seems the author has a vendetta and wants the MC to genuinely suffer time and time again. Dyon Sacharro from rebirth of the nameless immortal god is a great example. MC is a great guy, but instead of challenges, he’s genuinely just forced to suffer. He takes Ls in such a way that it feels like it has less to do with realistic circumstances as it does the author trying to smite him in dark ways
I started reading the book level up legacy I haven't been able to stop reading I spent most of my evenings reading this book along with a few others I read daily. I would follow up with more of this book after I read their daily chapters I have now got the current max chapters of the story, and I can't wait for the next chapters you have me sitting on the edge of my seat mellow and I can't wait to find it what happens next! if you have a discord order let me know the link I'd love to join it.
Great story. The greatest characters. Amazing story and progression no stalling or dragging. Unlike other novels of this kind where the author seems to purposely draw out the chracters growth to squeeze out a few more chapters it feels like the author has too much he has planned already in each phase of the characterc's growth. So basically kinda the opposite, a lot of content to fit in not a lot of chapters; dont get me wrong though the author does a beautiful job and somehow puts the whole thing together. Unlike the wuxia novels where even after a 1000 chapters it feels like there hasnt been any significant change in this you can notice changes in the world the, people around and even in the main character. Never reviewed before but this one absolutely deserved one.
It's a pretty good story. Sometimes the MC makes weird decisions but he eventually develops as a person. The system is unique, which is good. I only read the free chapters but i will start reading the rest when i have enough passes (im a poor boi 😢). Yoyu should give this a try. Also, romantic subplot is written amazing. It doesn't feel off. MC doesn't fall in love at the first sight and or build a harem.
Pretty interesting novel so far (I'm 60 chapters in) The world makes sense, there is a lot we don't know yet because the MC doesn't know yet. So the world is being nicely built in front of us. I like the MC, he actually has emotions and reflects upon what is happening around him. Side characters also show personality and read as actual humans. The pacing is sometimes a bit fast, some 'boss' fights were a bit quick, but honestly I prefer the focus on the world and MC with action sprinkled in. (Don't worry, still lots of fighting, by no means a slow or drawn out pacing) Overall The author is doing a good job.
